After 3+ hours of attempts, finally did it thanks to your video :D I can confirm that the "belly technique" in the beginning of the fight is ESSENTIAL to get the TA in less than 5 minutes. I did a lot worse than you and still got 4m15s. Thanks again :)
It's amazing how easy you made this look. My experience is the sword jump never goes that well. It seems this fellow is all about triggering animations. But sometimes jumps let you down badly.
No matter what I try, I can't manage to jump high enough to land in his arm. The traditional method of landing from the sword directly on the stomach is easy, but in the arm is impossible, EDIT: Ok, every 30 tries, I manage to grab his arm. Problem is, he's no bugging. He bends to look for me, but as soon as I stab him in the stomach 2 times (full strenght), he start to walk again, going back to the instance where is almost impossible to keep balance and finish stabbing him. Something is really broken in this game. Seeying how poor is this port for the PS3 from Bluepoint, I can only imagine that PS5 Demons Souls is as broken as this shit port, just with a graphic make up to disguise their incompetence programming... I'll keep with my Ps3 copy of Demons Souls instead, right now, I have ZERO faith in Bluepoint work.
Have you tried the PS4 version? It's a remake made by Bluepoint too but the game looks and plays so much better. To the point where I was able to do this fight in hard time attack first try. And I had never plsyed this game before in my life LOL. Demon Souls in PS5 turned out to be a masterpiece too. They have made other high quality HD ports too. Like Sly colection on PS3 and Uncharted colection on PS4. Seems like this buggy ass port was a hiccup rather than the norm in their work tbh.
