    Maninblue. I've watched several of your videos. You have good color and an excellent shooting style. I need some advice. I shot 3 vacations with an HD camcorder before I loaded any of them on to You Tube. Disaster. I learned I made a serious error. I used my old SD shooting style of "the wondering eye" with a lot of lateral pans and zooms, which when I made those moves using an HD camera produced something I call "panning flutter" on You Tube. I shoot at 60 fps, which means I have to convert to 30 fps for You Tube. The converter does not take every other frame, it takes 30 and leaves 30, producing annoying "jumping" on lateral pans. Are you shooting at 30 fps? I also learned that if I continue to shoot at 60 fps, I need to hold the camera still and pan very slowly. When I shot Alaska recently, I changed my shooting style and it came out better. Also, what editing program do you recommend?

      Hello Greg,
      thank you for the compliment! I am an amateur from Germany (EU).
      I film mostly in the automatic mode without Tripod.
      Better is the manual mode of the camcorder with tripod and UV-, Gray-filter;
      exposure time: 1/120 (1/125) and fading: 4-8.I am recording in AVCHD 1920x1080p, 50 fps , with 26 Mb/s, H.264-Decoder
      and use the Program VIDEO DELUXE 2017 Plus, 64 Bit from MAGIX.
      RUclips allows the formats: FHD 1920 x 1080p, 50 fps and 60 fps, 28Mb/s,
      as *.mp4 (and so on).
      I also achieved good results with: FHD 1920x1080p, 30 fps, 16-20 Mb/s
      as *.mp4.
      You can make the following settings in the program:
      Resolution: 1920 x 1080p, Frame rate: 60, Ratio: 16:9, VBR: 28 MB/s (Camcorder),
      Maximum GOP lengh: 30 (60 fps/2), GOP structure: IBBP, Coding quality: Better, ....
      Hopefully I could help you.

      Thanks, Maninblue. You gave me just the advice I was looking for. BTW. My sister lives in St. Leon, just south of Heidelberg where A-6 crosses A-5. She's lived in Germany since 1983. I have been there many times and to a number of big cities....but ironically, have never been to Berlin. It's on our bucket list. Bavaria (of course) is my favorite area to visit. Been to a number of fests there as well including the Bernkastel Wine Fest (2007), and in 2014 we finally were able to attend Oktoberfest in München. Thanks again for the advice.
