Hello Jeanette, I always enjoy watching your videos, hope to be able to visit Korea soon. 😊 There are so many fun cultural experiences in Korea. 💜
Always enjoying your videos!
Just wanted to point out that 'joseonjok' term is not used to describe any Chinese who decided to settle down in Korea. It is actually a specific ethnic minority: ethnic Koreans who migrated to northeast China during the Japanese occupation of Korea but have since returned or people living in Northeast China who are of Korean ethnicity and ancestry.
Ahhh I see!
But from what I hear from my Korean friends who live here are different! I was just referring to either Chinese who were born here or Korean that were born in China and now live here! (Referring to those that live in that area as of now)! But it really depends on the passport you hold and the origin of your family :)
Thank you for sharing tho! I’ve learnt from it too
Jeanette’s face looking glowing day by day!! Awwwww 🤩
Awwwww 🥰
I was told that they are originally korean but fled to china during the korean war. After that they came back to Korea and not well accepted by the Koreans becos they hv been away for so long and has adopted chinese mannerism - a bit "chor lor" so the atas ones "kua suay" them.
Eating the fried fritters and soy bean milk plus the meat buns is so very Chinese and you are at the right place eating them 😄
Yoana & your husband are fluent in other languages. 😊
