  • Watch this video to find out about life as an undergraduate at one of the University of Oxford’s newest and largest colleges, St. Catherine’s (St. Catz).
If you are interested in applying to St. Catherine's for undergraduate study, please visit the following webpage for more information: www.stcatz.ox.ac.uk/prospective-students
You may well spot the section on ‘College Families’ - this is an undergraduate-led activity designed to help new students settle into Oxford. The main purpose of the family is to provide new students with points of contact when they arrive, from whom they can receive advice, guidance, and support about student life at Catz and the University. Once in their first year, students can opt to ‘marry’ another student of their choice, who is also in their year group, and then be assigned ‘children’ to mentor, who are will be two incoming students joining the College in the next year. Don’t worry - these marriages and families are of course entirely fictional!
We are very grateful to the efforts and hard work of Jasmin Sahota, JCR Access Rep from Trinity term of 2016-2017, who produced this video. We are also extremely thankful to the other members of the JCR, who gave up their time to help with, and feature in, this footage. Our thanks finally extend to MS Project Sound, JMK Instrumentals, SophonicMedia and AlumoMusic who kindly allowed us to feature their music in this video, and to Dylan Nathwani who also helped to source this music.
