@@Dexter037S4 correct - can’t see Remco winning the TDF but he was much better than Roglic in this years race before Roglic crashed out so - in addition Remco’s on an upward curve whereas Roglic isn’t
Generally speaking the Vuelta is almost always the best grand tour of year. It has the toughest courses, it’s always close and the young and up and coming shine with intense passion. The Tour two years ago when Tadej was dethroned was the best of the decade, but other than that Vuelta is just the best.
Only someone wo ever had a severe bike crash can understand how much force of will and determination Primož must have to come back from that much and repeated misfortune. Hugely impressive indeed. He really would deserve to win the TDF next year! The biggest dissappointment for me was the coverage of Pogacar, and all the negativity that was brought against him without any (!) proof that he did something different than just stellar riding in the form of his life. Personally, I am more camp Vingegaard (whose achievements despite his prior injuries also deserved more applause than they got), but what was done to Pogi was just unfair and unjust.
What an impressive performance from Roglic. Again it's another a bounce back win. What an inspiring spirit. They admitted that was a mistake. They were happy for red to go, as its way too early, but the gap was the issue - once the gap was out they were at a tricky part of the course and it was difficult to close it.
I don't think he would have won had any of the other 3 top riders been there, results from other races where he was competing against the top 3 didn't go well, only my opinion.
Matteo Catania... do we really believe he could have won that stage? His race history does not say so. I think it was the right call to make him drop back for Landa.
All the tours were good but my favourite was Tour de France Femmes because it had such an exciting finish. Otherwise, if we're just talking the men's side: 1. Tour 2. Vuelta 3. Giro
1. Vuelta 2. a whole lot of nothing Tied for 3. Giro and Tour. The tour was technically a little bit better than the Giro, but a much bigger disappointment, so it's a tie. I was promised the big clash of the titans and it turned into repeated mountain time trials with the exact same result over and over again. The Vuelta, however, was great. There were stages with interesting tactics, there were stages with surprise outcomes and there were stages with a lot of suspense. It had pretty much everything that was absent from Giro and Tour. Plus, there wasn't a single stage that made me uncomfortable watching the "not normal" performances of any of the riders.
While I really enjoy the Vuelta and think highly of Primoz, I didn’t care for his drafting off the team car after changing bikes to get a better groupset, and thought the penalty was too light. Really perplexed as to what’s going on at Ineos. No apparently leader, riders performing poorly, confusing decisions… also intrigued at the omission of Cummings as a DS at recent races. Seems like since Brailsford has focused on United, Ineos have gone to 💩
2:20 things did go wrong...for starters how could Bora's team management allow Ben to gain such an advantage in the early stages. That is not what you want as a team that has the favourite in it. Further, what about the stage when PR was left without the team due to gastro-intestinal problems?
They admitted that was a mistake. They were happy for red to go, as its way too early, but the gap was the issue - once the gap was out they were at a tricky part of the course and it was difficult to close it.
I don't think he would have won had any of the other 3 top riders been there, results from other races where he was competing against the top 3 didn't go well, only my opinion.
Matteo Catania... do we really believe he could have won that stage? His race history does not say so. I think it was the right call to make him drop back for Landa.
Sepp Kuss let me down during Tour of Spain, didnt even seem to try to win!?? He supported WVA are a stage win, sad!
Vuelta first. The rest are Pogacar show.
#poordemi !
Never betrayed better than by your own team.
At this point she should just ride all alone.
A lot of upset yankees in the coment section. The kid from Durango didn't have no leaders to work for him😂😂😂😂!
All the tours were good but my favourite was Tour de France Femmes because it had such an exciting finish. Otherwise, if we're just talking the men's side:
1. Tour
2. Vuelta
3. Giro
Intensive care … for a knee?!
Yeah, sounds worrying doesn’t it?
1. Vuelta
2. a whole lot of nothing
Tied for 3.
He leaves me a bit cold.

While I really enjoy the Vuelta and think highly of Primoz, I didn’t care for his drafting off the team car after changing bikes to get a better groupset, and thought the penalty was too light. I also really dislike having it be almost entirely on Peacock. I wound up watching most of the race on the extended highlights that were on RUclips, which were very choppy.
Vuelta
Tdf
Giro
it looks as if Ineos is falling apart more and more… I wonder why
Bad atmosphere in the studio? Maybe a view sips of water minimise to swallow dry.
He’s ok but always third best in any full field
