What do you think Apple should have added to the iPhone 16 but didn't?

Every time I watch your videos, it feels like I'm sitting before a friend and having a casual, fun conversation about a gadget. Also, you're a compact gadget lover, as the first video of yours I watched was a review of the iPhone Mini and how much you liked it. Easily one of my favorite tech channels for these reasons. 😊
16s is the best deal this year. The pros not so much. They got a new camera layout, action button and capture control for standard all in one year.
Nothing will shift me from the 13 mini - it's reminded me to go out and buy up an emergency back up in case of weird early demise of my current one.
Once my 13 Mini is no longer viable I may very well return to Android. I had a OnePlus 5, and I am likely to return to OnePlus when I eventually get rid of the Mini, unless Apple brings out another Mini of course.
My mini 13 is just superb. Size and functionality wise, I haven't seen any reason to upgrade yet.
The 13 mini is the best phone ever made.
How do y'all get on with such a crap battery though! I LOVE the idea of a mini size phone again, but that battery barely lasted half a day!
@feliciaheater5548 I am not a heavy user, so I haven't that problem.. but nevertheless, you are right. That's why when I travel, I carry the Apple magsafe battery. And then I have zero problems.
But definitely, a mini 17 or 18 with improved battery would be amazing...
If you double tap the camera control, that’s how you cycle between camera setting types (i.e. you don’t need to touch the screen at all if you master camera control)

he has blue led lighting in the room, maybe that makes it look blue somehow. it completely looks like the blue iphone version on my macbook pro screen as well 🧐
Channels like this keeping the apple and Samsung gravy train running,for the average user phones peaked years ago,sticking with 12 pro max 😉
iPhone 16 is ugly compared to iPhone 15.
But my Blue iPhone 13 Mini is still the best 😊

Should I upgrade my iPhone 14 pro to the standard 16? I never use the pro features.

I’m thinking of getting it in green so that’s handy. Is Apple Intelligence going to be a game changer? I suspect it will be. Slick presentation.
I expect it to be way behind what’s available with premium Android phones as per usual.

Got the 16 plus only downside so far is the weight compared to my trusty 12 👍🙂
I still own a regular iPhone 11 and I am thinking to upgrade. My favourite is the 16 Plus. I don’t like the Pro models (look, weight, price) but the cameras… I may wait for the SE 4 or make an intermediate update to a 14 Plus or 15 Plus.
The only temptation for me, I run a 14 Pro Max in Space Black, is the 16 Pro. I come to like 120hz and I wouldn't mind the better camera sensor and zoom. Also the slightly larger screen than the standard. That said, my 14 PM does everything I need it to do and does it well. I just don't want to spend the $$ anymore. Apple does need to move to at least 90hz on the standards. Good vid Mark!
I want the iPhone 16 with and AOD!
I want a pink 16 pro. A bit sad I know lol. Wont be upgrading this year especially as Apple Intelligence is coming to my 15 Pro.
Watching this as I wait at AT&T to trade in my 15 pro for a 16 plus. I miss the bigger screen and battery life but I don’t care at all about the cameras beyond that they can take a nice picture. I can upgrade every year so this will hold me over till the ultra 17 comes next year hopefully.

My lady wanted the 16 plus for the color options. Then the convo went like this.
"It only has two cameras...what's the 3rd for?"
"Telephoto."
"Which is???"
"You know how you like zooming in on things because you're nosy?"
"Yeah?"
"Hope you like the color because you won't have that nearly as much."

Stickers are a waste. Over 20 years in a large family with multiple devices per person. We just throw it away.
16 good device but 60 hz …
No, I don’t notice the refresh rate because I’ve always used standard iPhones.
Same to me. I look at the package and not a single feature. My son has a 15 Pro and I tested both refresh rates. It is not a deal breaker. I don’t play games and I don’t need to scroll fast etc.
I still use my vision pro but I’m a weirdo! Still never had a 3D FaceTime call with anyone😂
I prefer the camera layout compared too the pro model, the camera layout on the pro is naf horrible looking, on a side note I think Apple might stop selling there phones in Europe cause there getting a right drilling from the EU lol but about time cause people want a choice you don’t get that with Apple apart from buying there phones have to use it there way there products and so on , yes it all works brilliant can’t fault that but ucb c if the EU never stepped in don’t think it have happened? Plus third party apps and opening up to other products working with them better
It's a mythology about the EU forcing Apple to put USB-C on the phone. When Apple announced lightning they promised to keep it for 10 years. They kept it 10 years and then switched the port to USB-C 2 years before the EU thing went into effect. For those who don't remember history, Apple was the launch company using USB-C first on the MacBook Air.
I plan to boycott Apple until they begin to send devices to you in advance for reviewing, which you have earned and richly deserve. I will be writing to Tim Cook later today on the subject.
