Synopsis:
Max and his team are captured by a mysterious villain who claims that Max doesn't seem to grasp the boundless possibilities of his Turbo Energy. Thanks to this villain, Max starts to generate a new green Turbo Energy which he must control in order to stop him. Dr. Prometheus Halifax aka Terrorax, the mysterious and enigmatic founder of the Halifax Industries, turns out to be the man who stole Max's energy and now has his own energy - Terror Energy - created to assist the Nexus legion in conquering the world. In order to stop this villain, Max and his team must learn to control his new energy and use his new Turbofied gear in order to stop the Nexus legion and their nefarious plans.

A: No, Max's new suit does all the basic functions that Steel did (or perhaps because he got a better control over his energy because he is older).

A: Steel mentions that he indeed control Max's energy but in very small amounts as it is way too potent for him. Max likely charges him with small amounts of his energy to keep him alive.
*Q: "Where is N-Tek? Max's relatives and friends?"*
A: N-Tek is no longer active ever since the events of Team Turbo, they were taken down by Professor Mortum and now Max and his team are left alone to protect the world. Max's friends and family's whereabouts are unknown, there was no reason given for their disappearance.
*Q: What happened with Max's old villains?*
A: It's also unknown. The Elementors appear on the next film.
*Q: Is Turbo-Warriors the final episode of the fifth season? Why there are no new episodes?*
A: Yes, Turbo-Warriors is the last episode of the fifth season and serves as the conclusion of the series. Though I'd say that it was due to poor toy sales, Mattel hasn't produced any animated films for their franchises since 2017 and Max Steel was between one of these franchises. The series currently has a series of *non-canon* shorts made with stop motion by Mattel.
*Q: Why the quality of the animation is so bad?*
A: Though it is unknown, the animators were likely under lots of pressure to release the films and the half-baked animation was the result.
*Q: "Is there a follow-up to Turbo-Warriors? When new episodes will air?"*
A: No, Turbo-Warriors is the last episode produced of the series and it is unknown when new episodes will air.

While I hate the fact they moved away from the classic turbo modes, and the animation style, I've got to hand it to them for keeping the same voice actors. It's the only thing that makes it still FEEL like Max Steel.

I kinda hate that they retconned the fact Steel can only stay separate from Max for a certain amount of time before he need to recharge on Max's turbo energy. It was a cool symbiotic relationship that the earlier seasons had established

I would love a continuation, with the old graphs and the old characters, it would be massivelly interesting to see what jim would say about the green energy, berto helping steel upgrade himself to sustain green energy bringing back the turbo modes stronger than ever, maybe even going off planet on adventures like the ones jim had, leaving the team turbo to defend earth, bringing back the old style of adventures, the green energy is not bad the way it is portrayed here, it could just be a middle way for the unimaginable power jim spoke about multiple times
Not gonna lie, I like the idea of Team Turbo defending Earth while Max goes to space. It's a simple solution that solves lots of problems that the series had
@@VenGhan it would be a perfect continuation, and if they only wanted to sell toys what better way there is than a whole universe to explore? New races, new enemies, new allies, it would accomodate their desire for money while also satisfying the fans that tought that the essence of the series was gone, it would bring back the old duo going on interstellar adventures, maybe even discovering more about jim's planet, the possibilities would be almost endless, but i personally doubt they would do it. Its more likelly they would rather reboot it than make a continuation, like what happened to ben 10

Okay just by existing flaws there's one thing I never noticed Max finally was able to remove his original turbo suit cuz if you remember throughout the entire Seasons that thing was his cloaking as his clothes you had to wear that suit ever since he first linked with Steel
This pisses me off because originally max always had too much energy and could get overloaded by turbo energy and everything g so it doesn’t line up with the original story.

I miss the old max steel
It's been 5 year. And i rewatch this show again, and i kinda miss the old villian, extroyer, toxon, Dredd and, elementor. And i miss the old gang N-tect.

I honestly believe that the Max Steel live action movie is the main reason why the tv series’s quality gotten so bad.
My guess is probably due to the movie’s bad reviews, Mattel might have cut the budget on the tv series because the company didn’t make back the money that they put into the live action movie and probably went all out on the remaining budget on season 3.
I just want to say that this is just my theory on what could have possibly causes the lack of quality following after the third season and how it ended up the way that they did. I noticed that the old characters were sidelined and the show was basically converted into a showcase of Mattel’s new max steel toy line-up which gave me the feeling that they weren’t going to expand on story anymore and just wanted to squeeze the last drop of what the franchise had left.
I don’t usually make long comments but this was one of my favourite shows growing up and to see such disservice to a great show kinda stings but it is what it is and I’m sure that the animators did all that they could but they should have just ended it at season 3 instead of this.
Well that could be it, plus the fact that the franchise was fastly losing its popularity thanks to other superheroes from DC and Marvel
I'd say that the quality drop started by the 2015 films (the third season) which was more merchandise driven than the past two seasons. They introduced the combo concept for the series and Max would randomly appear with a new mode for no apparent reason (i.e.: Turbo sonic flight mode) and that's when they started to run out of ideas
Tbh I don't hate these films and they are kind of a guilty pleasure for me but .. it's not max steel anymore
As I remember, until this live action Max Steel movie came out it was a mess. The movie switched studios a few times, Taylor Lautner almost played Max... The development of the movie was too messy. And the result is what we saw .A movie that went to the cinema, but that looked more like a movie for TV. Bad script, good actors wasted, average special effects... it was a disaster. The bad thing is that the franchise had a lot of potential. With a little more investment, the movie could have been a success and kept the franchise alive.
A Power Rangers movie came out in theaters around the same time. Although it wasn't a masterpiece either (and it didn't have a sequel either) it was a better movie. Which made me feel nostalgic.
If Max Steel's movie was at least on the same level as the Power Rangers movie, we could have hoped for better days. But unfortunately it wasn't like that. Watching the movie, the feeling is that a great franchise was wasted.
I honestly didn't like the 2000s version. But I love this 2013 version. I'm glad it existed, but not for the way it ended. Sorry if there was a mistake in a sentence.I needed to use Google Translate.

You mean N-Tek? During the events of "Team Turbo", a new villain named professor Mortum took N-Tek down and the organization ceased to exist, leaving Max and his team alone. The whereabouts of Max's parents are unknown tho

Oh I remember this and I was trying to look for it which is how I came upon this video but I remember the story being alot different tho, it wasn't just old graphics, I remember there was the animal guy whose face was ugly and he'd transform into whatever animal he was close to
That's Extroyer, he appeared on the first, second and third seasons of the show, this is the fifth and does not show any villains from the past seasons hence why it looks so different

Yeah, the animation is horrible. At some point in this film Steel mentions that his systems indeed control Max's green Turbo Energy, but in really small quantities, so it is likely that Max charges him with the green turbo sometimes to keep him alive. Max doesn't overloads due to his new suit that controls his energy

I loved the blue energy and all its modes but the green doesn't look so great. there was strength,flight,scuba,speed,clone,cannon,titan,spike,hydro,heat and then the turbo chamber where he could use two modes at once but what about the green?

Not really. Max's new green suits does the basic functions that Steel once did, such as controlling his energy and all. Or maybe due to the fact that Max is older he has a better control over his energy or his Takion DNA could be stronger than his human one. Idk.

im disturbed by how depressingly cheap this movie looks. Mattel shouldnt've rushed the production team and they defiinitely shouldntve taken away any of the newer concepts from the 2013 show. For example, I loved the whole dynamic between Steel nd Max when they were linked and the blue turbo energy. Where are Max's friends? Where's N-Tek?? these are questions that havent been answered.
Their whereabouts are unknown and will remain unknown, as the series possibly ended after the trainwreck that the 2017 films were.

I am on season 5 and I still like the old version of max steel the episodes are better as well in the old version. Yes, it is supposed to be a movie. Mattel changed the animation studio and the animators were probably under lots of pressure to release the film, hence why it looks almost unfinished.

Still don't get how terraxe survived the sword to the chest. Green turbo energy is the opposite of terror energy, and, as shown, green turbo energy destroys terror energy. Terraxe is made of terror energy so how does he survive?
