Sprockets and Chain Upgrade!

How to upgrade and change out the front and rear sprockets and change the chain on a motorcycle. This is my 2020 Triumph Street Triple rs, but the process is virtually the same for any motorcycle.
I'm going from 46 teeth on the rear to 48 which should give me more torque and also changing out the chain from a 525 to a 520 (thinner) chain. This a pretty easy process but it is very important to get it right.

Thanks for the cool ST videos. I just got a 2018 ST. Any idea when you might do a coolant change on your ST? Looking for some ideas on how to do it. Thanks again for all the videos.

I just bought the same bike 2022 do you feel like the DNK tune works and the changing of the sprocket made a difference?

Yes. The tune made the most difference after the pipe. But the sprocket made a small but noticeable difference in traffic
