I am new to Cricut and was searching for a how to measure and put names on a water bottle video. Yours was the BEST and ONLY step by step video I came across after looking at around eight different videos. I am putting names on water bottles for my Kindergarten students so they will have water at field day next week. THANK YOU for going step by step and showing how to measure the space on the bottle as well as how to use the Cricut!

I used Dollar Tree permanent vinyl on the Premium Vinyl setting and had success after changing the pressure to "more". Thank you so much for giving me confidence !

I love your video! My only question is: is the vinyl durable and washable? I want to get my coffee cup done and I’m just wondering if it will peel off.
The best vinyl to use for this purpose is Oracal 651 which is correctly applied will last for years. My son has water bottles which are used on a daily basis and washed constantly without any issues :)

I have a question. What’s the point of changing the font color of the Cricut just cuts and doesn’t color?? Would it come out the same if you used a black font color?? Sorry if it’s obvious but I just got my Cricut today and I am learninggg :)
you should hand wash them but after about a month or two you can usually get away with the dishwasher the longer it sits the more permanent it becomes I have had a wine glass with a decal on it for around 8 years it just depends how you care for them

Your channel has been one of the best to my understanding the ecosystem, how the machine works, and what projects I can do, so thank you! Question though, when you use the Orcal 651adhesive, does it come off during wash by hand or in the dish washer? And how long does it typically take to "set"? Also side note, could you please do a video on using an iron for t-shirt transfers? Thank you so much!

ive done this im using cricut premium vunyl but once placing it looks great, only thing is when i run my fingers accosts the bottle i can fell the vinyl bump is that normal. cause i want it to lay flat.
Have never done this before. Have a Silhouette...so the key is the transfer tape? Bought some adhesive sheets at Michaels ...do they have enough adhesive to them to use?
Which blade do u use for the cricut to cut . Because I cut mines and it takes a lot to actually get it off the paper . That’s what people don’t let us know .

Yes I will use a iron :) and 651 holds up quite well try to wait a few days for the adhesive to really settle :) I have cups I have made 3 years ago
Do you add anything so the vynil wont peel? I did mine and the vynil started peeling after two weeks
I don't add anything what brand did you use and how you wash it may have something to do with it :) hope this helps
