Ms. Martinez is a lost cause. She’s deeply rooted into the system & it all seems to be a fun game to her! She knows enough of the court lingo & the laws to weasel her way out of her charges. Her eyes look exactly like Ms. Stewart’s eyes, so cold & hardened by being in the system. (Ms. Stewart is from another case & Judge Webster ended up sending her to one month jail time) Does she wear glasses? Bc she does a lot of squinting. 🧐
we all know why she keeps getting into trouble and that because all the charges get dropped so she doesn't even worry about being arrested because she knows there will be no penataly for anything she does. Proscutor will just drop everything
Miss Martinez needs a lengthy jail sentence. That’s what she’s been asking for. That’s what she should receive. Treatment is just a waste of time in my book from watching this. There is no treatment for being who you are.
I’m sorry, but if it was anyone else or a male, he would be stuck in prison, but this little girl seems to think that it’s all OK and it is according to these judges and her job is a full-time criminal. She’s got some serious felonies going on here and she smiles every time she comes in the court how ridiculous, these judges need to wake up
How many chances are they going to give this person...she doesn't care..she doesn't follow any rules..They just keep dismissing the cases...why should she stop...court system is a failure!
Shit like This is WHY our court system is So clogged up. The courts/judges/prosecutors are at fault because if that slapped her butt in jail for a couple of years, she just MIGHT do a little growing up and not be such a menace to society. What a joke!
Why would they give her probation if she can't show to court. The only time she's shows is in jail. And she was way too eager to try to offer anywhere besides treatment so she didn't want to go. If you don't want help, it won't help
I have ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPATHY for HER, NONE!! It's become EXTREMELY OBVIOUS, SAME EXCUSES, SAME STORIES ABOUT HOW SHE'S GONNA SHOW UP!!! She's taking ADVANTAGE of having different judges, so she's able to use the SAME STORIES and neither know this!! It's also OBVIOUS she learns NOTHING, cuz she's STILL got NEW CASES!! She NEEDS TO BE in JAIL for AWHILE, if not PRISON, MAYBE then she'll learn. DOUBTFUL.. Do the public defenders talk to each other??? She's had SOO MANY of them, they should know she's LYING to EVERYONE, and she knows how to WORK the system!! That's WHY she's got SOO MANY CASES. SHE'S NEVER HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!
I can see one reason she continues down this path, cases keep getting dismissed, if she was guilty of any of those, she now is sure she will get away with things. There seems to be little accountability expectation.
Hearing #3: "I've made it to court more times than I have missed..." Weird flex, (especially with 7 bench warrants having been issued), but ok. 🙄 Edit: Just finishing the video. The courts are failing her and all of her victims (past and future). She has a serious addiction problem, and no desire to overcome it. Her history goes back way before this - she has cases in 2017, and even one in PA from 2020 regarding a single-vehicle accident and drugs/paraphernalia found on her person. No surprise her own grandmother passed on housing her; she's a mess of her own making.
So you acknowledge that she *has no desire* to overcome her addiction and that she's a mess of her own making, but you think the court system has somehow 'failed her'?? The court system can send her to classes and give her resources, but it can't convince her to want to get help.
@@bluedragonfly8139 my point is that the courts have failed her by continuing to allow her to flake and make excuses. She needs to be held accountable for her actions; if not, she'll just continue to work the system until something major happens. This is also what I meant by the court failing all of her victims. By the time she's stopped, it'll more than likely be too late.
Not even one of these charges should be dismissed, and she should have to pay court costs for every single case brought against her. Double for the ones she fails to appear at.
@@Bettylala4321Exactly! They overcharge a defendant just so that they can offer a plea deal and get her off the docket. Saves them time and money and guarantees them a conviction. It's screwed up. If they stop overcharging people then they won't have leverage, so they will continue to do so. It's complete BS. Charge fairly and let a person have a fair trial and be sentenced accordingly. Period
If she’s been in therapy at Catholic charities since she was 7, that tells me she was likely a foster kid at some point in time. Catholic Charities is one of the social work arms of CPS in Michigan. My guess is her issue is trauma with poor coping skills and lack of access to mood regulation meds leads to a vicious cycle of self medication through substances and a lack of good people around because of this self destruction. Lots of FFY end up homeless.
I think I saw her on a different channel and, I could be wrong but, I believe she had been talking about living with her mother. If it’s the right person, the mother seemed to enable and support this girl’s lies, excuses, and promises. Both of them seemed very manipulative and in denial about the daughter being a criminal, or even that she should be held accountable.
Meg, you did a great job with this video. Your hard work is very much appreciated. It's a real shame that this girl is living such a loser life. I hope one day she'll grow up.
Nice work putting this all together. I understand the system has flaws, and there are numerous opportunities for things to fall through the cracks, but she brought this on herself. She can't talk her way out of this, which I'm guessing has usually worked for her in the past, but you can't continue to be a nuisance to the community and expect to continue. She is an absolute mess. Such a mess her Grandmother won't give her a place to stay.
She's one of those people who has never faced any real consequences, she can talk her way out of everything because she's sweet (on the surface at least, I wouldn't be surprised if she's an actual nightmare underneath - I noticed one of the dismissed charges was DV) and pretty, that's why she's always checking how she's looking and fixing her hair and smiling nicely, because she's learned that's how she gets away with everything. Including actual crimes, apparently.
*The 12/11 hearing shows our system is broken! They dropped the drug charges… Kept the shoplifting charge. She obviously needs treatment, and jail! Instead, they charge her for the things she did on drugs and not what the drugs made her do. Restitution seems to be the main objective in most cases*
Prosecutors should stop giving her easy plea deals and charge her for crimes which would mean a prison term, she needs a mid length prison term to wake her the fk up. Perps will just continue to break the laws when they know fk all will be done to them except maybe a term of probation, other words a smack on the back of the hand. She urgently requires a harsh prison term, one for the safety of other citizens and the other to cut down on theft in the state. So far it's all a joke to her, and she shows contempt for the courts by the constant failures to appear. The state just as well get rid of all law enforcement and just allow perps to commit any crime they want to commit. That way it will save the courts being required also any lawyer in the state except for divorce, property and specialist lawyers. As for prosecutors they will have caused their own unemployment. This will mean tax payers in the state getting a rebate in their yearly tax burden. Yes occasionally a plea deal will save money for the state by not prolonging cases and having the need for juries. But this young lass is trouble and shows her contempt for the court alongside the laws.
When the police get a call on her, why even bother with an arrest? She's had more charges than an old Iphone. She walks every time. My empathy is for the police. It's beyond frustrating for me to watch as a spectator. I can only imagine how the police feel.
The grandmother is extremely smart and knows what Ms. Martinez is all about. And I would be afraid for the safety and well-being of the grandmother if she was forced to take Martinez in just my opinion.
It blows my mind that people don't obey a court's orders and then be snarky as well. The court has the power to take away your freedom. You call them your honor, act as respectfully as is humanly possible, hold in all negative feelings and smile, and when they say "jump" you say "how high?"
I can understand how got constant breaks and bond. She is nice looking, well-spoken, intelligent, and demur. Probably how she was able to do some crimes - although her resisting arrest shows a dark side of her. She is a queen of manipulation, probably since a young child. wish she was held account fully for her first few arrests instead of allowing her to bargin and get the worst charges constantly dropped. Maybe she would have quit the crimes instead of going on, and on, and on.I like that she finally got a female judge who doesn't put up with a lot.
This young lady needs to have not just the books going at her but an entire encyclopedia. She needs to learn to keep her mouth shut and not be such a big mouth when in court. Finally now that she goes back into trouble I would simply give her the maximum one anything that's available. Forget any plea agreements. She does not abide by the fee agreements anyway and oftentimes doesn't even show up to court when it's to her benefit. Very good editing on this video. Thank you.
I can't watch this freak show. It's beyond ridiculous that she isn't in Jail and paying for her persistent failures to appear in Court, her constant lies, arrogant attitude, the sheer cheek of her interrupting, the Judge, her attorney and the prosecutor is totally narcissistic. She's one of the most annoying, sneaky, slippery manipulators I have ever seen or heard. She seems to think she's sweet with her sly smile and constant demands but she is actually a most horrible individual causing pain and mayhem wherever she is and wherever she ends up. I hope no more of her offences are dismissed, what is wrong with the Justice system in America? Can you imagine how much she is costing the American tax-payer with her playing with the Court antics? Disgraceful.
Girl: Blah blah blah blah ... Her Lawyer: OK, so you've said what you wanted to, let's let the judge speak now Girl: OK, but first ... blah blah blah blah Lawyer : (internalized facepalm)
How do you go to jail homeless and come out a month or more later and somehow you have stable housing 2 jobs and 2 phones 😮 I did not know it worked like that
So, commit a LITANY of crimes, never follow court orders, continuously abscond, waste countless social services and tax payer dollars, then the plan is to pay $350 and get probation for a couple of months - makes total sense, shocking there is any question as to why she doesn’t respect the law or social construct. I thought her grandma had her gallbladder removed and the ‘family needed her to come home and help care for her’, yet grandma then refuses to allow her to live with her. Waited at a friends house for a ride but then when the police show up her car is impounded? All of her worldly possessions are in her car but she needs to get out to pay rent? Needs to get out so she can register her pet as an ‘emotional support animal’? She’s just smart enough to say whatever it takes to get out of jail, agree to the social services and then blow them off. While she’S not on the hook for murder or something more aggressive, that doesn’t mean she is safe to be among the public, she has B&E on her record and many thefts, and someone who doesn’t care about rules or laws can easily escalate to more serious crimes, especially if they believe based on experience that they won’t be held responsible or suffer any consequences.
Omg, they just drop charge after charge when she's proven she's learned nothing. And she's sitting looking like she's gotten away with it all. With a smirk. She only wants to go to treatment to get out of jail. She'll keep doing the as long as there are no consequences. If she's so over whelmed by so many dates, guess she shouldn't break the law. She seems to find plenty of time to be in jail 😂
This is what is wrong with our justice system, judges and prosecutors being soft on crime, not giving a shit about the abuse officers take its also shameful.😢
This is so rediculous. She is going to continue to get arrested but at some point she is going to commit a serious crime! She is definitely a danger to any community that she resides in.

@@OrphanAnnie681 Don't worry, she's young. She'll end up with 3 felonies eventually. 3 strikes and you go to jail for life.
@@OrphanAnnie681 You are incorrect. Not only is there a Federal 3 strike law for violent felonies, as of July 2024, 28 states have some form of a three-strikes law, including:
States that automatically sentence third strikers to life in prison without parole: Georgia, Montana, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin
States that allow parole after serving a certain number of years: New Mexico (30 years), Colorado (40 years), and California (25 years)
States that only count violent offenses as a strike: Some states
States that include serious but nonviolent offenses as a strike: Some states, such as drug trafficking or treason
States that require a different number of strikes to trigger a sentence enhancement: For example, South Carolina only requires two strikes for a life sentence without parole if the convictions involve certain "most serious offenses
@@OrphanAnnie681 LOL, how is that unconstitutional?
@@OrphanAnnie681 IDK, if I broke the law as much as she's intent on doing, I'd want somebody to slap me upside the head and tell me to get my sh*t together. Maybe if that had happened in the first place she wouldn't be in and out of jail so often.
They're just missing way too much. She has no consequences for her actions.
2:49 you see there’s a punchcard… every fourth misdemeanor is a felony… and every third felony is good for a get out of jail free voucher 🤣
I cant even finish watching this its painful to see how she is manipulating the court on multiple occasions. Its as if she is laughing at the court a big game to her. What a Lost cause
EXACTLY!!!!!
I was constantly yelling at the screen "SHUT THE EFF UP!"
Defendant; "Can I say something?"
Defense Attorney: "I would suggest you don't."
Defendant: "blah blah blah"....
Oh and in case I didn’t fan girl enough on my earlier comment, I appreciate the time you spent typing in those dates! It makes such an impact at how incredible her record really is!
You, Mike, and Bigen are my faves all for different reasons! I can LEARN on your channel 😂 -I appreciate the explanations along the way. ❤ Thank you! 😊❤😊
You might not learn anything relevant, but you’ll probably learn something lol
Why?? Why is she allowed to get away with her criminal activity?
(Ms. Stewart is from another case & Judge Webster ended up sending her to one month jail time)
Does she wear glasses? Bc she does a lot of squinting. 🧐
we all know why she keeps getting into trouble and that because all the charges get dropped so she doesn't even worry about being arrested because she knows there will be no penataly for anything she does. Proscutor will just drop everything
I wonder if bf is putting charges on her to stay clear himself
Miss Martinez needs a lengthy jail sentence. That’s what she’s been asking for. That’s what she should receive. Treatment is just a waste of time in my book from watching this. There is no treatment for being who you are.
I’m sorry, but if it was anyone else or a male, he would be stuck in prison, but this little girl seems to think that it’s all OK and it is according to these judges and her job is a full-time criminal. She’s got some serious felonies going on here and she smiles every time she comes in the court how ridiculous, these judges need to wake up
SOROS HAS BIG BUCKS! THAT'S WHY THEY LET HER OUT.
How many chances are they going to give this person...she doesn't care..she doesn't follow any rules..They just keep dismissing the cases...why should she stop...court system is a failure!
1. This girl just can not get out of her own way.
2. After the 11 months, her sentence will be complete and no further probation.
SOROS/KAMALA! she's a $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ maker to them.
Shit like This is WHY our court system is So clogged up. The courts/judges/prosecutors are at fault because if that slapped her butt in jail for a couple of years, she just MIGHT do a little growing up and not be such a menace to society. What a joke!
I almost feel she likes it too much that she'd get away with anything in jail!!
This girl keeps making poor choices. Keep her in jail.
Has anyone ever added up but she has cost the public and tax monies for all of this.? This is beyond ridiculous.
I love how judge Simpson shut her down with you cannot schedule your own court dates ma'am
Why would they give her probation if she can't show to court. The only time she's shows is in jail. And she was way too eager to try to offer anywhere besides treatment so she didn't want to go. If you don't want help, it won't help
She pretty much requires inpatient treatment but instead we have turned the jails into the mental health institution.
One of these days she's going to mess with the wrong person, and she'll get all her accountability at once.
Hearing #3: "I've made it to court more times than I have missed..."
Weird flex, (especially with 7 bench warrants having been issued), but ok. 🙄
Edit: Just finishing the video.
Of course she keeps getting in trouble. These judges keep going soft on her. I've paid more in speeding tickets than she did in court fines.
This girl can’t get out of her own way. I really don’t understand how she can just over and over and never learn
Just wow...broken system
If she had been held accountable charges ago just maybe she wouldn't be a chronic criminal
Not even one of these charges should be dismissed, and she should have to pay court costs for every single case brought against her. Double for the ones she fails to appear at.
Plea bargains don’t work that way and u didn’t see what evidence was used.
Period
Judge Simpson dropped the ball in letting her go again. He’s usually a better judge than that.
No, he did it exactly right; enough rope for her to hang herself.
You rock! Thank you for your hard work. I hope you and the fur babies are well!
Thank you! You too!
So addicted to this content, helps my distracted brain focus in some weird way
Because it was made my a highly distracted brain? Lol
There has to be a mental problem with her…. Something is off
Ya think.....😂😂😂
She's used to being able to manipulate her way out of everything.
This chick seriously thinks she is all that. it's fun to watch. thanks meg so much for all of your hard work. the cases are amazing!
if you actually read the description of the video, the poster feels bad for her. its not right what she's going through
HOW DOES SHE GET AWAY WITH ALL THIS!!! THIS IS TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! THIS IS NOT JUSTICE AT ALL
Good grief. She's just a liar, don't care, ridiculous.. She won't pay Nothing back either. Let's see in 10 years, see where she is.
The ol’ adage, “being your own worst enemy”. Her grandmother adamantly refusing to take her in, imho is a tell.
Meg, you did a great job with this video. Your hard work is very much appreciated. It's a real shame that this girl is living such a loser life. I hope one day she'll grow up.
Thank you so much!
Great point!
She needs pay rent, but she lives in her car, and she needs to get a ride despite her car being on scene😂
Make it make sense
Don't forget her phone was broken but she has 2 phones if we are to believe a word that comes out her mouth! 😂
Very interesting case, worth watching!
*cases
*The 12/11 hearing shows our system is broken! They dropped the drug charges… Kept the shoplifting charge. She obviously needs treatment, and jail! Instead, they charge her for the things she did on drugs and not what the drugs made her do. Restitution seems to be the main objective in most cases*
🎯 The justice system is so flawed 😔
This is great - I love the timeline and the way you've edited the whole story together. Thank you!
The court should’ve stopped this woman a long time ago. She’s in shock that they’re stopping her now.
When the police get a call on her, why even bother with an arrest? She's had more charges than an old Iphone. She walks every time. My empathy is for the police. It's beyond frustrating for me to watch as a spectator. I can only imagine how the police feel.
Meg does a lot of work on these cases. Good work!
Yes! Thank you!
This is a travesty of justice. She should have gotten five years, minimum.
That is totally ridiculous! Makes me steaming mad.
Wow thank you for this!! Not only an update by video but also an update after video was no longer being shown. Thank you.
The grandmother is extremely smart and knows what Ms. Martinez is all about. And I would be afraid for the safety and well-being of the grandmother if she was forced to take Martinez in just my opinion.
She needs a wall kitty calendars to keep track of all. Thanks Meg for all your hard work on all!!!
It blows my mind that people don't obey a court's orders and then be snarky as well. The court has the power to take away your freedom. You call them your honor, act as respectfully as is humanly possible, hold in all negative feelings and smile, and when they say "jump" you say "how high?"
Thank you so much for putting all this together, Meg!
Thank you.
Adjourn...adjourn...adjourn...adjourn.... Will they ever have a meaningful hearing?
Wow!! You did an amazing job with all your spreadsheets. Seeing her insanely looong list of charges 😳 made the video that much more interesting! 🏆🥇
Thanks so much!!
Girl: Blah blah blah blah ...
Her Lawyer: OK, so you've said what you wanted to, let's let the judge speak now
Girl: OK, but first ... blah blah blah blah
Lawyer : (internalized facepalm)
Thank you for posting this. Best legal entertainment I've seen in a long time. I appreciate your hard work on this.
How do you go to jail homeless and come out a month or more later and somehow you have stable housing 2 jobs and 2 phones 😮 I did not know it worked like that
She’s a big liar.
Very interesting she needed release to care for her grandmother but then her grandmother wouldn't let her move in...
Judge Stevens would not accept the plea. Trial on each count individually. Max sentence on each conviction !!!
She does not know when to stop talking.
When your Lawyer tells you to keep quiet you put tape over your mouth if you need to.
I'd hardly say she destroyed her life... she basically got away with it and served very little time. It's abhorrent
Wow Meg! This was an interesting case that really revealed a lot about the day to day workings of the criminal justice system. Sooooooo many court hearings!!!
Your spreadsheet, calendar and listing of the court hearings was really excellent work that added a lot of value as I watched the videos.
The follow up at the end even without video brought us up to the minute. I'm glad you researched ît.
This was one of your best!!!
