This is ridiculously naive. Firstly, it would turn any manifesto into a dry legal document devoid of any concrete meaning. And this would likely be deliberate, because now it's legally binding, the last thing a party would want to do is spell out a clear policy that could easily get them sued in a legal context. Instead, you would see vague, abstract ideas with flimsy commitment that would be open to definition and easily loopholed. And then, who do you sue? The party as an entity? Who is responsible? The politicians themselves? The policy makers? The think tanks? What happens if another politician enacts the policy of a politician who leaves?
What a ridiculous idea. Vexatious much love? Leave the UK if you’re unhappy with the appalling political and socioeconomic landscape instead of coming up with fantastical & laughable ideas that just make no sense and no other country in the world would implement.
Things change and sometimes pledges cannot be adhered to. It wouldn’t work to have a manifesto be legally binding. Instead, electoral reform would serve us better.

I wasn't a fan of her a few years ago, but she seems to have grown a lot as a politician. I particularly liked how she refused to allow the presenters to put words into her mouth. Instead she repeatedly gave a (clear) answer in her own words. Experienced politicians learn that you cannot trust interviewers, because they are after a soundbite to promote their programme, even if the soundbite misrepresents the views of their guest. A naive politician would have answered how they wanted, and then been shocked to find those words being used in unfair attacks through the rest of the campaign.

Even LibDems seem to realise that rejoining the EU in foreseeable future isn't realistic. Unlike leaving, we'd have virtually no control over the terms of rejoining. No way would Brussels agree to the 'opt-outs' we once had. Besides, i wonder if EU wants us back anytime soon.
It doesn't really matter, the Libdem has the right approach, they want to rejoin in the future but start fixing issues now. We can rejoin the single market, we can rejoin lot of the EU without been in it. I agree with them!
In my opinion, re-joining will be worthwhile, even if we can't get all the opt-outs. I think most of the EU will want us back, and would be happy for us to stay out of the Euro, though I'm sure we would lose the rebate. Unfortunately, it will need unanimous agreement, so there will be troublemakers like Orban trying to get concessions before letting us back in. Far better to rebuild a closer working relationship, step by step, before trying to fully re-join.
