I disagree with George Galloway’s socialist political views, but one thing I massively respect is his integrity and sincerity, since day 1. Listening to George is a sad reminder of just how far our nation’s politics has declined. To think we used to have honest, left vs right debate. Two sides who both ultimately wanted our nation to succeed, but who had different strategies for how to achieve that success. Look at World War 2, when Labour and Conservatives put aside their differences and worked together in the war cabinet, to deliver victory in our nation’s darkest hour. Today we have the same globalist liberal slop, either in the colour red or blue. I would rather have a parliament full of socialist workers party George Galloways, who actually have integrity and prioritise our nation’s interests above all else, than a parliament of fake “Tory” politicians, who advertise themselves as “right wing Conservative” but actually conserve nothing, and instead preside over the accelerating decline of our nation, whilst gaslighting the public. Yes George, "it's harder to sell Socialism in some ways" because the salesmen have become people like Klaus Schwab. His sales pitch of "you will own nothing and be happy" uncannily resonates with the goals of socialism in the minds of many, even if it has been thinly rebranded as "stakeholder capitalism ". This is something you need to address George.
I'm old US and remember observing Galloway from those now decades ago. He's like the UK version of Bernie Sanders. It is fascinating to hear Galloway in the here and now. I disagree with both Sanders and Galloway politically, but it would be refreshing for the populist wings of the left and the right to take over the conversation. On both sides of the Atlantic.
The populist right and populist left have many issues in common. In America this has been slowly and quietly taking place and it leads to confounding the elitists. Let us unite on the numerous and very important issues we agree on and we will be unstoppable in reforming the nation in a pure and righteous manner.
The pride of power, the illusion that you can gain enough worldly power to make yourself secure. This is the pride suffered by those who seek to control others or to dominate other nations. - The Second Mountain, David Brooks
All great minds grow and eventually fade away again, now matter how brilliant those minds may be they can never overcome the plethora of evil and or mediocre minds that push back against them, it is who we are and how the majority simply sit on theeir hands and close their minds to how things might be.
The thing I find interesting about the state of Britain - something Galloway just piqued in my mind… Is that, and I’m not sure if this is via American influence or just an old Victorian ethos of class supremacy; The reason Britain can’t ever be like the more socialist examples of a governed people is for reasons of a kind of delusion of grandeur. The merchant class of people who own Britain will never allow socialist ideals - the moment you might think you can insert some is the moment the fight to remove them begins. Other countries do not suffer this malaise - they don’t have that sickness of greed that hangs over them. “Great Britain”. The thing I find almost sickening about it is that those in charge of Britain are actually micromanaging the thin slither of it that is economically successful. And they call that part Britain. We might call it London. The powerful treat Britain as if it were a delinquent in the workhouses of the Victorian era - the mess it is in is for reasons of poor lineage. Quite a neat trick the elites play on human nature: run a system into the ground for 60% of the nation, and then blame it for not being able to pull itself up.
My hubby, the son of a coal miner, went to university for his engineering degree, was a Conservative all of his working life because he foreseen the way Labour was going while growing up.

It’s been a while since I agreed with George…..
@44:30 that money that allowed people to do that has ended up in the pockets of the corporates
George, just say it. there are no statesmen/women anymore.
It wasn't Lawson when we crashed out of the ERM, but Lamont under Major.
Parliament system is very corrupt
George brings in the "Race" issue and says its why they couldn't have anything to do with Reform, you really needed to push back on that. Because i cannot see where Reform have any race based policies or ideology...
& the NHS privatisation comment.
Farage has said many times that he DOESN’T want to privatise it; just change the system to what he used the French healthcare system as the way forward…
😄
I am glad to hear that George and Nigel get on well as I have supported and admired both of them for a very long time although I did think George had fallen out with Nigel
No they are very good friends but Farage has distanced himself from George because of his newly found love for Zionism. He never suffered from this disease in all his previous political life.
@@AndrewGora 💯 percent the main difference between them is their stance on the ME. George is much more educated on these subjects too. Farage seems to only talk about immigration George talks about immigration too but in the wider context of war and global instability. Farage wants more of it which can only make things worse.
Only the Truth will prevail.
Great interview and open debate, let’s hope it makes enough people ask questions about honest politics……….
Australian Labor Party is the same, I stopped voting for them 15 years ago.
Love to hear him speak. Very eloquent and well researched, even though I don't like his politics he is a good observer of events
Great show
39:00 - Truer words have rarely been spoken. It is indeed the death of ideology.
I rarely agree with Galloway, but he is right on this.
A fair days wage for a fair days work .....strong value
I dont agree with george galloway on a lot off things but hes us 100% correct regarding thr labour party.
Mr Galloway articulating the reality of Britain's condition today, the direction of travel is heading for the cliff edge, but the 'gravy train' seems unable to apply the brake's.
I think Peter was a little spellbound by the charismatic Galloway. No push-back at all.
I don't think anything Galloway said required pushing back on.
Don't agree with a lot of Galloway politics but he is a principled man and honest to his causes
there is not one to vote for, my instinct goes to UKIP but of course, they will not get anywhere so it will be reform, and I do not completely trust nigel or Tice are they with us or the establishment?
Not wrong is he?
I do not agree with much of what Mr Galloway says.
I do believe he is honest in his views.
We both believe Tony Benn is one of the best primisters we never had.
I dont agree with much of his politics, but he was an honest, decent man.
An honest man in politics is like a hens tooth.
I totally agree with George on going back too public owned services, these services need only too break even because they would be employing loads of people they would then be paying tax , not claiming any benefits , more people in work the more taxes created more can go into betting the public services plus less paid out on benefits this would lower the taxes percentage that people pay , more money in peoples pockets more money people spend and boost the economy
No wars needed
The pride of power, the illusion that you can gain enough worldly power to make yourself secure. This is the pride suffered by those who seek to control others or to dominate other nations. - The Second Mountain, David Brooks
Mr Galloway clever guy great speaker love see him against starmer he'd eat him for breakfast
We have a champagne socialist multi millionaire KC with a mansion in Hampstead as our labour prime minister ... a real man of the people /s
All great minds grow and eventually fade away again, now matter how brilliant those minds may be they can never overcome the plethora of evil and or mediocre minds that push back against them, it is who we are and how the majority simply sit on theeir hands and close their minds to how things might be.
The thing I find interesting about the state of Britain - something Galloway just piqued in my mind…
Is that, and I’m not sure if this is via American influence or just an old Victorian ethos of class supremacy; The reason Britain can’t ever be like the more socialist examples of a governed people is for reasons of a kind of delusion of grandeur.
Great interview! I hate Galloway a little less now
Im right leaning but have alot of time for George. Genuinely cares about the country and the people ,no matter what race, religion you are. We need new, strong parties of the real left and right so people have a genuine choice.
The People are stupid for not voting for Mr.Galloway.
Jacques Delores died 1 year and 1 day ago aged 98, though I saw only one report of it at the time.
Not missed at all
A great discussion. However, the Gaza explanations I do not concur
I Think if The Conservative Party 🔷 and the Labour Party 🌹 were to Work together they would Achieve Much More Success
Its always the rich at fault george...in my opinion.
We’re in a fight, winner takes all. The BIG Secret is we’ve Already WON but the dust is yet to settle.
