    I enjoy your videos, you left me wondering the names of the river(s), and I think there were lots of things that could have been pointed out, such as bunkers from the Soviet days.
    I liked and subscribed mainly because you are down to earth, no cute stuff, no giggling and no whining.
    I hate winers,, people that complain about everything including the beer and pizza, t Imagine That?!
    You two are the best.
    ( SORRY, but you did point out the bunkers, I spoke to quickly.)

    A+++. Another awesome video. The traffic looks mental in the towns and cities. Shame about all the trash, shocking really that these people have such little regard for their environment.

    • @louisaandtobi

      Yea, it’s really a shame, and unfortunately it’s like this in many Balkan countries. But in Albania we definitely found it to be the worst.

    Well done you two. Looks like your settling into journeying now. Have you considered a single wheel trailer, to get some weight off your bikes and stop the puncture problem. I use a German built Klarfit 35kg trailer. £150 off of ebay. Best accessory I ever bought.
    Love to you both ❤

    • @louisaandtobi
      @louisaandtobi  3 года назад +1

      Hey, thanks! Yea, we feel like we’ve settled in well now. :) We have thought about trailers in the past as other people have also recommended them to us. It’s definitely something we’ll consider for future trips but I think for now we’ll stay with our current setup but get wider / better tires. But thanks for the recommendation!

    An amazing video. I have been following your journey from the beginning and I can't wait for you to come to Turkey. If all goes well, I'll be on the road in a month. I am renewing my bike and equipment. I hope we cross paths with you and have the opportunity to meet. If you have anything to ask about Turkey, you can ask to me. By the way, I think your tires blow out too often. I am using Mitas (Rubena) Stop Thorn Longway 26x2.0 tires and I am very satisfied, I recommend it to you too. TThe only drawback of these tires is that they are very heavy, one of them weighs about 1 kg. If you buy them in Turkey, you can get two of them for about 50 dollars. I'm looking forward to the next video. See you.
    Stay safe and take care. ❤

      @louisaandtobi  3 года назад

      Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yea, we plan to come to Turkey in a few weeks and would be great to meet up :) where in Turkey do you live / plan to cycle? Yes, with our tires we really have to find another solution, we are not satisfied with the ones we have now. Thanks for the recommendation, we will have a look at them.

      I live in Istanbul, but my family lives in Gallipoli. That's why I frequently travel between two cities. I will start the tour from Gelibolu (Gallipoli) and travel north along the Aegean coast. As I said, I'm not ready to start the tour yet. You will enter Turkey through the Kapıkule border gate. If you are planning to cross to the Asian continent via Istanbul, it is a little difficult for us to meet. But if you are going to go north from Edirne and cross the Gallipoli peninsula to Çanakkale, maybe I can host you, if you want. As I said in my previous comment, I can help with anything related to Turkey. In order to communicate faster, I am sending you a DM on Instagram.
      The tires I recommend are very solid tires with 5 mm armor. They are quality tires used in many touring bikes. Schwalbe Marathon Plus is one of the most famous and reliable tires in this field and frankly everyone recommends it. But I've been using Mitas (Rubena) Stop Thorn Longway tires for a long time, and even though I've traveled long distances on all kinds of roads (asphalt or country road), my tire hasn't punctured even once. Since the dollar and euro rate is very high in Turkey, I think it will be attractive for you to shop here. It will be more economical to complete your missing equipment here than in any European country.
      Well, I talked a lot. I hope everything goes well and we will meet one day. Bye...

    • @louisaandtobi
      @louisaandtobi  3 года назад +1

      Hey, alright, we will have a look at your Insta DM and get back to you. We would most likely head along the Gallipoli peninsula and come by Çanakkale on the way. We will let you know! Would be awesome to meet you.
      We will have a look at the Mitas tyres when we have better internet. But they sound very promising. I know Mitas tyres from Motorbikes and know they are very good.

    Have you considered solid tyres? That many flats would drive me round the bend. Albania is not a country where most would consider touring. I'm on the lookout for my next bike under £600. I want a proper touring bike with e-assist. I want to do Denmark to Greece 🇬🇷 meet friends in Croatia, Holland, Germany.

    • @louisaandtobi
      @louisaandtobi  3 года назад

      Yes, we have already thought about solid tyres as well. We definitely have to change something about our setup, maybe also get wider tyres.
      Good luck with your bike search! :) Although we think that bike with e-assist under 600£ could be hard to find. Sounds like a nice tour you are planning.

    • @louisaandtobi
      @louisaandtobi  3 года назад

      Yea, we were told that later as well. But we heard from other cyclists heading to the southern coast, that unfortunately there was still loads of trash there. We are still pretty happy with our decision to head inland.
