I really enjoyed your workout, I had laparoscopic abdomen surgery almost a year ago (I was cut in three places including the naval). I checked myself for Diastasis recti and I believe I have it, three fingers. I am working to get my abs back....although I don’t feel weak in my abs, I plan to add your workout to my routine!
This is a great workout for anyone- I enjoyed it! Between your channel and one I found that’s dedicated to yoga, I’m good to quit my gym for the summer! I’m having my kids work out with me at home!
Yay!!! I'm so happy you liked it Sarah! thank you for doing it with me! Workouts plus yoga = 👌 I'm doing my workouts every Tuesday and Thursday now so I'm going to keep you busy this summer! haha Keep up the awesome work 👏💕
Thank you for watching Jacqui! It really is hard and that's why I wanted to share my experience and everything I know so I can hopefully help another mama out 💗 Have a great weekend! xoxo
When was your c-section Jalia? I had one too with my twins but that was two years ago. It was really hard for me to start back up with working out but I did it slowly and have regained most of my core strength back ☺️ Hope you have a great weekend! xoxo
This was so useful. I never knew how to check for it! I'm pretty sure I have this and honestly haven't been doing any of the right things to correct it. Definitely going to use this workout! Haha if your mad at your husband- too funny 😋. Loving these workouts so much! 💜
hahah thank you so much! Everyone is different but mine was quite severe and with time I closed it up without surgery so it can definitely be done! Thank you watching xoxo
Did I do cardio? I usually try to get my cardio in at the gym while my kids are in child care there but if I don't have time I go out for a run with them in the stroller ☺️ I try to eat as healthy as possible but I do eat things I crave too because I don't believe in 100% restricting myself. As a matter of fact I had pizza last night because my husband and I were craving it! But to balance it out I had a smoothie for lunch today. Would you like me to do a "what I eat in a day" video? Or share meal ideas? Let me know and I would love to make a video about it! Also, thank you for watching and woking out with me! xoxo
When I first heard about vacuum, (not realizing that's an exercise) I was like no that's my husband's job among everything I do. LOL😂😂 These are all great tips and definitely something I can do, as well as something I'll share with my family who just had a baby and on the way of having one. Yes, I would love to see your eating diet. ❤️❤️
hahaha you go mama! 🤣 teamwork makes the dream work lol. Thank you for sharing it! I would really appreciate that! Okay great! I plan on filming a what I eat in a day next week since my diet won't be the best this holiday weekend 😆 Thank you for watching! Hope you have a wonderful day mama xoxo
Everyone is different but if your gap has closed and you feel strong enough you might want to start experimenting with more challenging moves. For me, I remember being in cobra pose and feeling like my insides were going to fall out but now I can do it, so give yourself time. My kids are two years old now but even one year postpartum I couldn't do some of the ab exercises that I am doing now. Just really listen to your body and trust yourself 💗 How many months postpartum are you? Congratulations on your baby!
@@juliewaltman7131 First of all congratulations!! And secondly, that's awesome!! did you have a c-section or vaginal birth? if you don't mind me asking? My boy/girl twins were born via c-section. xoxox
"Because he is not helping you change those dirty diapers" omg girl I’m loving the intros😂💛 and omg ! I didn’t know you could close it by working out I believed you needed to get surgery to fix it😱🥵 thank you for sharing🥰
hahaha thank you! everyone is different and it depends on the severity of the gap but mine was pretty big and I closed it with no surgery! Just have to be determined and consistent with workouts 💗
Your videos are really really good!

Hi, should I start doing diastasis recti exercises straight after birth or is it best to wait 6 weeks after birth to start the exercises?

How long before you started running, I know even if the gap is 2 fingers or less it's not recommended to run
How long s after your gap is closed should you wait to do regular abdominal exercises?
Everyone is different but if your gap has closed and you feel strong enough you might want to start experimenting with more challenging moves. Tone and Talk I actually had boy girl twins 7 months ago 🤗 I started out with a 4 finger gap and now I can only fit my pinky in the gap!
I make sure to do “vacuum twist” everyday!
