Shade was the worst element in the game. Both lunatics deplete health or remove your defence. No wonder the shade zone is the best by far Worst zone is crystal imo, but crystal has lot more supports than just iphi tho
Interesting observation about shade. Reminds me of “dark magic” where it can make you very strong, but in order to use it, it takes something away from you. The zones I currently use the most are shade and fire - I guess it’s because I like total destruction haha. I don’t use crystal that much either, but perhaps it could be to do with only Alma being the most impressive setter so far and not many new crystal units. What zone do you find yourself using the most at the moment?
@@jrpgwow Compared to orleya and iphi. Alma is considerably weaker. Need two turns one for VC next for someone to put another zone. Let's not talk about fire, Alter dewey Alter Tsukiha, Minalca, shion AC. It's kinda game breaking lol
Alma's strength is barrier piercing and weakness damage. Always was. Ofc earlier you could just use her whenever bc she had bonkers release damage numbers, but the content has become harder so she's more focused on where she actually shines. Now that Iphi can just give that -barrier pierce- to anyone (although doing it multiple times require a number of turns of setup), it kinda makes her a tiny bit less relevant, but she's still great anyway. I think shade element is fine though, the fact that it doesn't get destroyed by resistance is underrated imo
@@rubemevangelista3868 and thunder will destroy barriers easily. Unless it's like that one boss with barrier not determined by hits. Iphi is just stupidly broken tho

What does it mean when the zone icon is a rainbow cone?
That's not a Zone. That's the sign for "Prayer" being active. Some characters have "Prayer" skills, e.g. ES Mariel or ES Toova.
