Thanks for this, I knew the draw through units were more efficient and several videos would say this but they'd then say they were more expensive to run which didn't make sense. I'm guessing they meant more expensive to buy due to the additional cost of the separate chassis as none of the videos I've seen actually stated this. I'm currently toying with the designs of a FCU, I'm trying to go for the most efficient, quiet and most compact unit on the market using a high end coil I already produce. Officially testing the unit is going to be the pricey part though so want to get all the design sorted so I'm not back n forth to the test lab (could do with building my own tbh).
thank you for the explaination. im an electrical appretice doing controls for the first time. my lead hand who is also doing controls for the first time cant properly explain this to me.
Hi there, I'm aprentice and just wondering does a glycol is necessary for fcu? And If yes what damage would it do if glycol would escape the system? Thanks
One of the best, simplest and clear explanation. Thank you.
It's a perfect explanation.
Thank you very much

Hi, it depends on your living area. if temperature go below freezing point in winter, so yes glycol is necessary, otherwise it is not necessary
What is the difference between ahu and fcu
Ahus are of higher capacities, but same concept. Fcu are used for single zones while ahu for multiple zones.
