Its not about understanding or not….. its about the real emotions that we get from that actor in original language that lacks in the dub which was recorded in the studio

Oh you're watching the Hindi dubbed version. Watch it in the original malayalam audio version, the sound and dialogues are much better and the lip sync wont look awkward.
One of the main reasons to watch Indian movies in their org lang instead of the dubbed versions are the songs. When a song is dubbed into another lang, it really takes away the organic feel to it and it sounds a bit off to a person who knows the languages. And for the person who doesn't know the language, like yourself, it's like listening to a shitty cover of the org song
Also the lip syncing for these dubs are trash

The song in the beginning is from the 1991 movie Guna, starring legend Kamal Hassan. The song sequence was shot in the same Guna caves that the Manjummel Boys visited in 2006. In the song, like you realised, Kamal Hassan (a mentally challenged man) is reciting a love-letter he wants to give to his love but since he cannot write or articulate it romantically, he asks the same girl he's in love with to write the letter for him :) She, instead of writing exactly what he says, sings it out in the form of a song..

The feelings they talk in original is easy to understand, but in dubbing, mostly they just say the dialogue without any modulation.
If it is officially dubbed, makers will take care of it. But in OTT dubbing, they don't care.

No, bro. There is tone difference. The actors' real voice isn't like this. They change the language of dialogues, but the voice is gone. And it feels like everyone has the same voice.

Dude. Its hindi dubbed shit you are watching. You want get the full experience with dubbed. If you are watching indian movie plz watch it in orginal language. Youll will lose the mood of the film, performance of the actors and so on. Dubbed verdions dilogue deliveries are too dramatic and garbage.
