@nealmariec, everything depends on how much you make. Guys working at the oil fields make tons of money. So, the amount a person spends depends on the amount a person makes. It applies in every country.
Because they don’t rely only on salary. That’s why if you open a business and employ Ghanaians, expect them to take some of the products at the shop/office for themselves for free. They will steal but you can’t fire them because next person will come and do the same. If they work for government, they make more money taking money “under the table” than salary. Unspoken rules 😂
200 can last if a person is not buying 700 Cedis of groceries a week like I do for my house help to cook it for me because I eat 5 times a day. 200 can surely work, but 300 you will be comfortable. No worries at all. You are able to go shopping to buy yourself things like clothes and other miscellaneous things. Of course a person won’t do that every week, but being able to receive 300 a week and you are not spending the whole 300, you will have accumulated some savings. And me personally, I’m all about savings. Let’s say you need repairs at home or need to buy any building materials. The money will be there. 300 is only if you want to live a comfortable life in Ghana. Even a nice blender costs about 450 Cedis or things like a light bulb is 30 Cedis. A taxi ride to the mall is about 80 Cedis going and 80 Cedis coming back. Some weeks things will happen and 2000 Cedis can disappear fast. Again this amount is for where I live. If you live in Accra that amount will barely last you one week lol unless you stay inside.
If you have your room already you can enjoy 9 days for 30 dollars a day. That’s 457 Cedis a day, 270 dollars for one week, but I figured out of your 9 days you want to maybe go on a boat ride, a waterfall or visit the monkey sanctuary or something. You can rent a taxi for the entire day for about 800 Cedis and currently that’s 52 dollars. So let’s say you do that for 3 days plus your 30 dollars=457 Cedis a day that will cover food and miscellaneous. Whatever you do or wherever you got for the 3 days that you will rent a taxi and when I say rent him for a day you will keep him for about 6 to 8 hours and no more. 1000 should be enough for 9 days of enjoyment and remember this is if you got your room. There are Airbnbs for 33 to 60 dollars a night. If I was you i would not get anything over 45. Also keep in mind if you lived there you will in no way spend that amount daily. That amount is for pure enjoyment. To get around the city going to the mall or getting food, always use bolt or Uber because Taxis are more expensive. But they are better if you want to do your own tours. Just google where you want to go and enjoy yourself. Let me know if you need a taxi driver for your excursion if you will be doing one.
However where I live I don’t get overcharged for anything. The same price they pay is what I pay. They are mostly trained to eat 2 times a day while I take 4 to 5 meals but I eat inside the house. I have house help that cooks and cleans.

What's up with the inside joke, all the laughter, you had to start your sentence over, while asking the guys whether they have a girlfriend? A few of the guys said they're single because they're not ready for a girlfriend yet. My thing is, the daughters of Black men are the only women on Earth whose name is synonymous with _ho_e, because our fathers, Black men, are the only men on earth who name is synonymous with sllaeve. There was even chuckling on the hosts part specifically when asking how much they'd spend on said girlfriend, as if the guys aren't allowed to say: "Hey, I'd give her the world." Especially the host, as an elder, doesn't need to be holding Black women in derision, knowing if he were talking to European men, there would be no dehumanizing, disrespectful chuckle about their woman partners. If our own elder men refuse to cherish and value us women, that explains why we stay underfoot and humiliated everywhere on the planet. Get a clue. Stop doing the supremacists' work for them.
You are the only one butt hurt about this interview. These are MY friends and I can ask them whatever I want to. They knew what the interview was about before we started. I told them all I would ask and they happily agreed. You mentioned asking Europeans something. My channel is called We belong in Africa not Europe. What’s up with the inside joke? I’m a happy person that’s why there is laughter. They are also happy and not uptight like you. Get a grip and relax. For you to get supremacy out of my interview you’d have to be clueless yourself.

If you live in Accra that amount will barely last you one week lol unless you stay inside.
How much is good just for 9 days
@@webelonginafrica44 thank you helpful 🙏 yes will be staying somewhere,

Hi my brother number is switched off
Whatever these locals are spending, triple it for yourself as a foreigner
However where I live I don’t get overcharged for anything. The same price they pay is what I pay. They are mostly trained to eat 2 times a day while I take 4 to 5 meals but I eat inside the house. I have house help that cooks and cleans.
@@webelonginafrica44 videos that will go viral 1. You favorite Ghana foods 2. Your favorite Ghana songs 3. Your favorite Ghana slangs 4. Your culture shocks 5. Things you surprisingly caught yourself doing because the culture has influenced you 😅🙏
Too funny !
Thanks for watching 😂
You got the coins making it do what it do. 🤣 Ghana is very affordable especially when you eat like the locals. What are they eating that cost so little?
I don’t know what they eating but I need the recipe 😂
Bro in Ghana ,people live like magicians,😂 only budgeting 😂😂
I swear the is some major budgeting going on here. 😂
Please look for people who can at least be fluent and are exposed it’s like me going to third ward or acres home and attempting to have an intellectual conversation with the brothers on the on the corner
You are right though
The first guy u interviewed has money.
Yes he’s my barber and also a hustler.
@@webelonginafrica44 cool!
Barbers in Ghana make good money, especially the talented ones with demand
Bro even 3,000 a week is too much because you live luxury bro.Average ghanian live lesser than 3,000 .😂
That’s why I said it you want to live comfortable 😂 and be free lol
that’s still a low amount because I have some Ghanaian friends that even I can’t go hang out with them. My money isn’t long enough lol however there are many that live a uncomfortable lifestyle. I would say my lifestyle is far far from luxury because I don’t spend that amount weekly because I stay home and sometimes don’t even leave the house. That’s why I also said “sometimes I have to go and find something to do. I have house help that I pay 1000 Cedis a month from my money.
He is lying I spend 250 a week as a single man an am o ok 😮
Really? Only a 50 dollar difference? Are you able to save and let money pile up?
that’s why Majeed will remain single , he doesn’t spent any money on his women.
I ain’t saying she a gold digger but she ain’t messing around with 😂
Many a _MODERN WOMAN_

@ You can't even address what I said because you know it's true. Y'all can't afford to be laughing about your own (Black African) women with the credit score your names as men have in this world. Wake up, dude.
The young man with 100 cedis is too low bro, that means he comes from poor family or he himself is trying to survive so budgeting😂.But I think at leat 2000 cedis is normal .
Eiii 😂
100 cedis a day is too low wtf are you on?.. That's like 3000 a month and the average salary is around 2000 so come again

Accra is not the 5 or 6 most expensive city in the world lol. A simple google search would prove this wrong.
