Awesome video guys, I think you've just sold me on buying a grey Evo VIII. I've been looking for a while and finally am in a position where I can make it happen. I wasn't sold on the grey one in the photos but looking at this video has convinced me.
Bit of an odd question, but what colour is this Evo exactly? The one i'm looking at buying is listed as "Micra Grey" and it looks a bit lighter than this one in some of the shots.
I've got a deposit down on the grey one now and I'm watching this on repeat, so damn beautiful man.

@@Fredrick656 Fuckin amazing man, so happy with it. Got a grey JDM 8 MR with 54000km on it and the only mods are a clutch, turbo timer and a stereo head unit. It's been really well looked after, so clean inside and out. Absolutely stoked.
@@antman8845 Sounds like an absolute steal mate. I know a lot of people who regret selling these cars, so hold on to it. Especially with the current market prices 📈👍

i had the same jdm mr gun metal grey with hks pink sexy engine 1.7bar stock turbo mapped on the fcon was producing 357whp around 410bhp healthy ponnies. with a bigger turbo better clutch and pro race manifolds the car would have been over 430whp but the stupid me sold it... never slept well at nights after
I want one of these evos so bad! I am saving up already for one. I found some evos with good miles and cheap but Im hoping they dont get bought when I have the money...

Who was this tuned by i got a Mate out in SA has a stock White 8MR Looking to do some mods, a Little bit more then this, Since doing it all once works out cheaper, Looks immac man :) im in NSW so i dont really know the SA places to point him in,
Thanks mate. I go to Driven Motorsport and recently we have been getting Ben from Benchmark over to do the tuning. He is yet to tune mine but will be once the time comes
Nice man benny from Benckmark does alot of my friends cars animal turn outs an good Eflex/e85 tunes, are you stepping up to more mods like cams ic piping etc to squeeze a bit more?
+JazN N-Me We have our time attack coming up in October and i'll be in street class so just looking at a duel map tune so i can run e85 other than that its going to remain stock until next year. Will then look at a hi-comp 2L build with maybe a 712 i want it to be really responsive on both street and track. Really looking forward to working with benny :)
Nice man Gtp712 or Fpgreen best to 20gs on the market :D if your doing a build you will get more out of a fp :)

Does he have issues with the 6 speed gearbox with that level of power?
Gearbox has been faultless since I have owned it. 3.5 years, many motorsport event and abuse and it's held up very well

9 has mivec and i slightly bigger turbo. Different front and rear bumper and different seats

Personally i got the 8mr because its JDM and also the colour i have is a 8mr only colour in Australia. All the 9's in Australia were Australian delivered and didnt come in this colour. Both nice cars with very little differences

Vince having driven both i would say an evo 8/9 over an STi anyday
Dylan Butler Appreciate the input. Any particular reasons why you prefer the evos?
Vince i feel overall its a better package. Things like the AYC make the evo unbelievable to drive. Also you can make more power easier in the evo rather than the STi. All i have done on this is a tune and an exhaust and makes 210kw/290hp. Another this is the suspension on a 8mr/9 is really good from factory. ive added lowered springs and it made it even better. Coilover suspension in this thing will be crazy.
Dylan Butler Yeah I was leaning towards evos for pretty much those reasons. Only concerns I have are reliability issues and insurance costs
