I love seeing black people across the world being happy and enjoying themselves. There's so much hate for us in the world, but you still press on. This is honestly so beautiful- to watch and to listen to.
Whoever took the initiative of the idea for the music and the video clip is a genius. Good job Meklit and the crew and be proud of yourself. Am proud to be Ethiopian!!!

Whoo! This is AMAZING! Instant mood elevator! So much beauty -- from the concept to the music, to the dancers, to the dancing to all the beautiful brown afro'd loveliness! Man - I gotta watch that again!

I'm obsessed right now. I've watched this video over 20 times since I first saw it today afternoon. Awesome everything - your voice, the music, the video work, the concept, the choreography (favourite part 4:26 to 4:30 - I've rewound that part a couple of trillion times. hahaha), and oh my GOODNESS that language is so romantic. My absolute favourite thing about this video is the AFROOOOOS! I can't explain how delicious I find kinky hair and seeing so many big afros in one place is such a wonderful thrill. Still getting goosebumps watching this video over and over again. Good job. Very good job.
