Your experimental videos are my favorite because you don't cut out the mistakes. Everyone on youtube is so bent on being perfect its refreshing to see realism.
Hey, there. Just starting out my Melt and Pour Soap Biz. I am from Malaysia. I just love your videos. Its so natural and love that your mistakes doesn't prevent you from doing what you love. Thank you for the motivation.
The colors are very pretty. The hearts are just fine how they turned out. The angles how they point didn't seem to take away from the final soap. It came out very pretty!
If there was a mistake Dean I wouldn't have known it until you told me I don't often comment but you were gone for a long time and I miss this so good job it looks beautiful and keep it coming😀😀
I think it's OK and cute. I remember with the white/red heart soap you melted a bit, set the heart just right and then poured the rest, that one was perfect
It turned out ssuper cute Dean! I love coming along for the ride with your experiments and I don't think the directions of the hearts look like a mistake at all even though it wasn't how you'd planned it. When you were trying to get the 3 different shades and you kept adding more colour to your light ones I was getting anxiety though and yelling at the com[uter "Nooooo! stop adding more to your pastels then!!" hahaha! They turned out perfect though as usual :)
These are beautiful! I use just a touch of base on my imbeds and let it dry enough to hold it in place to the layer then pour the next layer :D Also with that heart one I like to use the bottom of my loaf as the top that way you can put the hearts on their humps and they hold better
Dean awww man!!!!! Beautiful 😍😍😍....I have the same molds, I put a mark on my heart mold equal to the loaf mold...love spell is sold out everywhere I look😩😩😩
I loved it...that you forgot which direction you put the heart was great...I do that all the time when making soaps and bath bombs. Glad you kept it real. Your soaps always turn out amazing no matter what. Thank you for sharing💕
For the color, I thought once you had a light pink you were happy with you should have just darkened the others, but it still has a nice definition between layers.
Omg that part gave me high blood pressure haha. I'm like "stop adding to pastels if you want some contrast!!' LOL. I love Deans experiments though and think he's wonderful :)
Honestly they look beautiful the way they are. Gorgeous jobs how do u cut like that? I stopped doing melt n pour because I absolutely can not cut not even with that wooden cutter for melt n pour. Nope can cut them like horribly off. So that’s when I went to cold process soap and only use the melt n pour for guest soap’s that I put in cute molds cause I can’t cut.
Yes, cutting take a while to do right. even I make a mistake even now and then. Think of it like cutting wood ones your line down the wood has started you will continue along that same line, so keep the knife straight at the top, look down the soap and go slow. I know in my videos it looks like im cutting fast but i speed those bits up 400%.
Hello Dean. Watching your videos I am trying to learn how to melt and pour. I have a question: can I use watercolors?? You use only mica?? Your videos are beautiful and helpful. Thank you.
You can use soap dye but they need to be 100% skin safe. I suggest buying from a soap supplier only. Don't use food dye. A liquid soap dye will give you transparent colors in clear melt and pour soap bases. Example; www.aussiecandlesupplies.com.au/collections/personal-care-liquids
Yes, the rubbing alcohol is like a binding agent to help "glue" the layers together. I did a video on what happens when you don't use rubbing alcohol. Check it out here. ruclips.net/video/amJ5C4aGwiM/видео.html
Awesome! Thank you! I just found you today looking for whipped body butters and I loved ur videos I got to check out so far! Thanks for responding! I'm going to check out that link!
For the first time, I used unscented soap base and filled it to the top. Then once set I put it on the scales. Giving me the exact amount I need to pour next time.

Mistakes or not, it’s still cute.
I love the way it looks. Nobody would know it’s not how you wanted it. 💕
So cute! It reminds me of a carnival shooting game, Cupid take aim!💘💘💘😁
I like that you don't edit out mistakes. We all make them. There's nothing wrong with the soaps. Nice.

Yes, I know, I could almost hear you. But I worked out if I made one too strong, a drop of TD will fix it. :D

Ermagersh, I need a tube mold holder, love yours! I just poured 3 today and would have loved to have one, lol. Cute soap design!
Thanks, it's a pity you are not in Australia. I have 1 spare ;)
I think it looks great
Great video, love that soap column holder. Great design for V-day!
Thanks so much! A man named David who is the hubby of one of the Australian soap makers made it. I just made my version of it. Works so well.
I have "Hover Hands" too when I'm making soap! Colors turned out great and I like that they go from dark to light on top! Great video!
Awesome! Thank you!
We all make mistakes, I think it's beautiful, the 3 shades were nice!
It's awesome.
I loved it...
Fantastic! I love the colors and the design!
So cute...
You would use way less mica on clear MP, I just love this dean, it’s lovely ☺️
So pretty! My layers tend to split apart.... but I might have to try again!
Lovely and the colors are perfect! Can’t wait to give this a try👏👏💕

Te quedó precioso, cómo todo lo qué haces 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Obrigado, estou feliz que você ame meus vídeos.
Love it. It still looks great. I have a question though. Why are your gloves black? :D
I have XXL hand size and these were the only ones in stock. There was a shortage when the virus was here so I stocked up when I could.

It was cool but I would have used the gold. Where did you get the molds? On Amazon.
Thank you, you can get them on amazon, right here

@@DeanWilson Thank you Dean. Good morning from Athens-Greece
I love the designs! The mistake was meant to happened 😅
Looks great! Does the rubbing alcohol help keep the sections together? I've had problems with this
Yes, the rubbing alcohol is like a binding agent to help "glue" the layers together. I did a video on what happens when you don't use rubbing alcohol. Check it out here.

Muito obrigado. Eu também acho.

I have a question...by the time I melt and start to add additives, colorants it starts to solidify what should I do? Please help
It will depend on the base you use, some will go cold quicker than others. You can microwave it again, 10 or 20 seconds at a time.
Break down on prices to make and to sell? I’ve subscribed to ur channel
Every base is different, different shipping, fragrances cost different. Its something the seller needs to work out.
How do you know how much soap to melt for those heart molds?
For the first time, I used unscented soap base and filled it to the top. Then once set I put it on the scales. Giving me the exact amount I need to pour next time.
A wonderful mistake. It’s cute and I would not change the order of the color transitions.
I'm watching the video in 2024😊

Love the colors
