@Josef Swann I strongly disagree with that sentiment. He doesn't play as technically challenging stuff as Dave Mustaine, but he still plays rather technically challenging stuff in general. Try playing the 2nd solo to Whole Lotta Rosie from Live At River Plate, for example, and you'll get your ass handed to you. The Bad Boy Boogie solo from Stiff Upper Lip Live will kick your ass as well. I strongly suggest you try it on camera to show us how easy it is, because I promise you it is not as easy as you think. And yes, I do in fact play guitar.

No, I don't think this is an ominous sign at all. David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) recently sold many guitars at Sotheby's - he just had so many collecting dust and wanted to 'pay if forward', I think that's all it is. All up, he looks extremely well post-cancer tx - he isn't emaciated, he has not lost his hair. A remarkable recovery, really. There is no reason he won't go from strength to strength. I feel positive for him.

There's an interview with Chuck Billy where he recalled fighting cancer in early 2000s, at one point he had no hair , no eyebrows and thought it was over.... fast forward to 2019, he's still kickin ass.

Dave Mustaine is the real McCoy! I only got to meet Dave twice. I had just gotten out of the U. S. Army Infantry and was a bellman at the Hilton in Daytona Beach Shores. They pulled up in a big bus and I walked right up to him and asked for his autograph. He gave me the Dave snarl and didn’t hesitate, I said thank you and he said thank you for being a fan! The next day the band came outside waiting for their band s and I could tell they were all hungover. I went inside and grabbed them a few bottles of ice cold! They thanked me and I let them be cause they looked like they wanted peace and quiet! The next time I met up with Dave he was doing a meet and greet! The whole band was completely different! I looked for David and he seas now where to be found! The last time I saw Dave it was about 12 years earlier! I simply said to Dave you and my sponsor saved my life! Dave was looking down and looked up and shook my hand! I didn’t go into any details as to what I meant! But he really did! I wish some day I could tell that full story to him! I’m sure he’s heard the same things plenty of times but he was super cool all the same! I’ll always consider Dave to be a decent caring guy that treats people with honest respect! Rock forever Dave you make the world a better place!

Dude they are sitting in a storage locker in Cali, and I bet there isn't dehumidifiers or humidifiers running. Most of the guitars are newish and or almost unplayed because of lack of interest in them. 🤣
