I have wanted one for many years! The best of both worlds, a well made truck camper with the lowest height of any other! Plus I love the wood interior!! I was just pricing these tonight when your channel popped up!!!👍😉
I don't know what the lift mechanism you're using looks like, but I saw something similar with a crank lifting pop-up camper where the guy used an attachment on a cordless drill and it went right up.
Hello Off-Farm Adventure. Curious...It looked like you cranked up your Alaskan. I didn't know that some of them crank to raise the camper. Is this an older camper? I'm enjoying your videos. Best.
Thanks Mark! Mine uses the hydraulic jack but it is manual. Is that what you meant by cranking it up? Or did it actually look like I was turning a crank? I guess I should say I pumped it up with the lever.
I like your setup. I don’t know if you noticed in my video that I accidentally referred to my “Caravan Camper” at one point. I used to have one of those on my Dodge and I made a set up in it similar to yours. I camped in it at Big Bend National Park and of course along the way. Also, my daughter and I camped in it at Yellowstone a couple of times.

That's great Steve. Let me know when you find one. I love mine.
Great video sir! Hope you can join us at the Alaskan Camper Campout in Challis Idaho this June!
Thank you Jacob...I marked myself down as a "maybe" a while ago, but I fully intend to be there barring any unforeseen events...

I have that adapter too. Well worth the money.

And it is older - 1976 - the newer ones operate the hydraulic pump off of the battery.
Awesome video man! I just got done building the bed of my truck into a camper. You'll have to check it out on my channel. Keep up the awesome content!
Thank you Taylor…
