My wife is the one who caught Danny's first stick he threw at the end of the show!! So stoked you recorded nearly the entire show as well. Very impressive. Thank you! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
So glad someone recorded this, this was my first concert ever and seeing my favorite band too. I was in the lower half of section 110 so this looks similar to where I was which is super coool.
I was in Section 103. this was my 6th tool show, it was great but I did not really like their choice of songs, it was a carbon copy of last year at the Target Center! oh well, still my fav band ever
I agree, not quite a carbon copy but very close. The Patient, Right in Two, and Undertow were played last year but Jambi, Rosetta Stoned, and Swamp Song added if I'm not mistaken. Kind of disappointing but if it means I got to see them twice in a year in a half in MN it's worth it being the same set list. Plus FI is my favorite album and 10,000 days is second so I'm loving it
tool are all badass musicians but that catalog would require a massive amount of rehearsal time to alter set lists as uniquely as jambands do night in night out. a three song switch on 2 separate shows, especially across different tours, across years.
Viva la difference, no malo my friend on the Path for the wiggles in your video for the sound is great. I got to work as stage hand when they visited my city and got to hear the last 20 minutes of their show and helped the stage and lights in the load in, PA service after Stinkfist ended. The SOUND! Maynard has said many times that he isn't about the cult of personality, but the value and cred of the discipline of the disciple. I close my eyes to follow this stuff, I play all the instruments and sing as well so there's more than enough to keep me entertained in the sounds. I honor the differences in human perception for our powers are strong in that dimension. The heavy metal of that light wall is visceral and not Vicarious experience for me if you know what I mean. Chain motors, things heavy enough to crush you if they are not up to code; some people are as tuned to the visuals as I am to the sound and when they close their eyes they're lost and overwhelmed. I can track both, but when the sound is as good as this I would rather track the audio cause the visuals are just a psychedelic trip while the lyrics and the way the band weaves together such intricate rhythms I have no need of external visuals cause my inner sense is fine with nothing but the sound when it's this good. Thank you, I enjoy seeing toober vids of front of house view cause I only heard a little bit muffled behind the curtains at stage right waiting to spring upon the deconstruction of the PA system as soon as the esteemed gentlemen of Tool left the stage.
That said WOW the visuals: there's as much value there as in the sounds when I open my eyes and see what they put together. Alex Grey is a favorite visual artist of mine, so of course. That heptagon over center stage, it's in metal. I saw it put together, but in this context as far back as you were it might not have been obvious that there was an actual metal heptagon hanging between Mr. Keenan and Sifu Carey. Sifu I play drums. Those video walls are composed of heavy metal panels about 5x3'. That is worthy metal to serve the visual dimension when it has this kind of quality. I met the gentlemen who did the visuals in the morning and the lead sound man in the load out, and it shows in the quality of the sounds and lights. Thanks again for posting this.
Duuude....right? I went to this show. It was, AWESOME...but sadly they did not. After each song would end I kept anticipating SOMETHING from Aenema, starting to sing even but, no 😕😅 still an amazing show 🤘❤️
Glad I didn't go. 7 of 9 songs are the same as last tour. Pretty shitty to deprive your Minnesota fans out of Rosetta Stoned, given they havent heard it there since 2007.
They played Rosetta Stone...but still agree. I saw them at Target Center last year and it was very close to the same set list. I'd rather see something like 46+2, or Stinkfist, or Pushit, or something rather than Descending and some other downer songs from Fear Inoculum
i was star struck a sit down concert, church was good amen
Wow, you guys were loud...rarely does he call out the city once...without saying "We'll work on that, or "We'll come back to that" etc
I was there. Was an outstanding show.
Same! The end of The Grudge took my breath away.
I needed that, thanks from an old man in Yorkshire, England
Excellent sound quality/set list ... deserves a timestamp 👍😎🤘
00:54 Jambi
08:40 The Pot
15:20 Pneuma
28:15 Descending
41:37 The Grudge
50:15 Chocolate Chip Trip
1:00:00 Culling Voices
1:10:36 Invincible
1:24:20 🎃📸🦶😂
1:25:30 Swamp Song
A shame the recording missed Fear Inoculum since it was the opening song, but still a great recording.
Thank you for this post! It allows me to relive the amazing experience!
AWESOME show, wasn't it??! LOVE getting to see Tool ❤🤘
Been wearing my Tool shirt since Halloween!
My wife is the one who caught Danny's first stick he threw at the end of the show!! So stoked you recorded nearly the entire show as well. Very impressive. Thank you! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
thats awesome!...thanks for watching
I was so close to his second stick! So mad the person caught it hahah

Wow, 1st show. I remember my 1st show in 1984 Judas Priest..I thought ; This is heaven....I've seen probably 100 bands live....this was my fave show.
1st show 1992 ZZ TOP - 350 bands live hard to pick a fav. ELO?
I have a few songs on my RUclips channel from the Winnipeg concert! It was my first Tool concert and it blew my mind…. Thanks for posting the concert

Awesome show, thanks for posting this! 🔥
Thank you! Was an epic show! 8th row VIP, bucket list..☑️
First row right side! Best show!
Awesome show… i seen it in Winnipeg and have posted a few videos . They ended up the show playing Forty Six & 2…. Wicked show
I was there and a girl across the aisle got escorted out for repeatedly filming. Good catch
yeah i was extra cautious...had my phone screen completely covered for the majority of this
I saw a ton of people being screamed at for recording
Still trying to find soundboard quality recordings. Anyone can help?
I missed this sadly. Thanks for the video

Saw them at welcome to rockville, powertrip, and now Phoenix
Work on it, eh... Someone just came from 🇨🇦 eh! Great show in Winnipeg, kinda like yours! Lol

Shine OOON forever Benevolent Son! See what I mean? The good stuff in this is in the SOUND>

Can you repeat that please....
please no!
@@DIMEBAGDARYL79 he even commented on his own comment TWICE!
Btw, Fear inoculum was played first. It just isnt on the recording.
Just a heads up to anybody recording concerts on la phone...turn the brightness right down...
i did on several occasions...its very difficult to record a TOOL show..i barely snuck peeks at my phone much less adjusted settings
@@DIMEBAGDARYL79 there's 5 videos of the Winnipeg show ( all with the same thumbnail) shot in 4K....really good momento of the show I saw...
When was the first time you saw pyro being used at a show?
i cant recall for sure..id imagine 1999 black sabbath and pantera
They look now as a CGI. Nothing remains from punk era (1991-95)😂
They remind me as Dream Theatre...😂
Great show but nothing off Aenema? Cmon man
Duuude....right? I went to this show. It was, AWESOME...but sadly they did not. After each song would end I kept anticipating SOMETHING from Aenema, starting to sing even but, no 😕😅 still an amazing show 🤘❤️

they played it..i just didnt get it recorded

Yeah unfortunately they'll probably play less and less of the old songs because they're too vocally demanding. @@jqentertainment6966
They still sound great, but theyre set lists are just plain awful. Playing 6 of 7 FI tracks per night? Coma inducing.
people complaining about a Tool show just baffles me
