Funny how not long ago when I attempted to purchase an Akro Limeade from someone on Facebook, she thinks I'm ripping her off for only wanting it for 20 buckaroos. Now this video has got it solidly covered!
Thank you for posting this video, all of your videos are greatly appreciated and liked very much. I have learned a lot from you and your marble friends over the past year since I discovered your channel. I am from New Hampshire and wanted to go to the marble show in Connecticut last weekend but could not make it. Hopefully I will get to meet you someday!
@ I am also very sorry about the loss of 2 marble friends in the past year and a half. Ron is #1 the best! I say is instead of was because his knowledge and spirit will always be here.
I learn as much as I can on Akro, Peltier, Christensen, Vitro & German (others also but too many to list lol) made marbles but love to learn about all marbles! I really appreciate these appraisal videos and all the info in Block Marble auctions app. So very helpful & needed! I am grateful for you and all the marble pros and collectors out there!
Thanks Sanyo! I’m not aware of any current values for Davis marbles. They are very hard to find, but I don’t think a ton of people go for them so I could guess that some of the better ones can get up to $20 or $30. The plain ones maybe $5 each , it’s just a wild guess on my part though.
I have bought thousands of machine made vintage marbles over the last 33 years. I have never paid the crazy prices that the "experts" value them at. Save yourself some money and hit rural estate auctions, you can get great deals on a whole container of marbles for pennies per unit.
Maybe it’s time to sell them before this generation of people willing to buy at these prices all die up .. this new GEN DOES NOT care about them , and won’t pay these prices in future
Block has aged just a bit since I last saw him. I bought so many marbles from him 20 years ago online. I didn;t know he was still doing auctions. At one point he had stopped doing them. I look at prices on Ebay for marbles and prices are alot cheaper. So I've just sat on mine. But, I just may contact Bob to auction all my marbles.
Where would I go to identify the manufacturer of a collection of marbles I bought at an estate sale? I have a Mason jar full and I know very little about marble collecting. Reddit has not been very helpful, though I did ascertain that they're mostly "cat's eye" type(?) I want to sell them on eBay but I don't want to (a) rip anyone off or (b) sell them too cheaply. Or (c) look like an idiot, for that matter. 😂 Help!
Hi Steve, there’s a zillion Facebook marbles pages that you can join for identification help. Also MarbleConnection.com , Allaboutmarbles.com would be helpful. If you poke around the videos on this channel you should learn alot. Good luck!
I was today years old when I learned people collect marbles and sell them at auction.
Unfortunately, I lost mine years ago 😅
Love your videos. I just got a bunch of marbles from my dad after he died and some were his father’s. So this channel has been a lot of help.
Thanks Kevin for watching! Hopefully there’s some goodies in the collection, my condolences to your father.

Yes Eden I would agree $20 is fair for those. They’re by no means rare, but they are cool. Especially the ones with the better patterns.
Thank you 😊

Patti I can’t think of a better place to unload some of your good stuff. You’re guaranteed to get a fair value exchange.
Do you have any free marbles for a excellent marble player and team? Any type will work.❤
Yes of course Daniel! Email me at sbahr@scarletknights.com
👍👊✨
👍🗝️🔵
Is there a way to send you some of my new mibs collection
Hi Steven, Norman here again. Is there a way new investors can join the fun?
You need to retire, and hit the marble trail across America!
Norman you are welcome to email me photos at sbahr@scarletknights.com
Sadly, I can’t retire for another 8 years.

I'm done with you Tube, the ads are getting ridiculous.
There should only be one ad : before the video starts, are you seeing any ads in the middle of my videos ? Please respond, thank you!
