Who do you think won't be catching their return flight home in The White Lotus Season 2 finale? Comment your thoughts below!
7:36 you meant Tanya right? My interpretation of the Sphinx (Mia): she is a mythological being who seems sexy but is actually ruthless (how Mia destroys the pianist's life). And the bird attacking another bird (Harper) is clear, since Harper is abrupt and hurtful in her words, especially in the first chapters.
Where did you get these clips? 😭
I think the monkey represents Tanya’s need for attachment to someone, anyone rather than Greg explicitly. It could represent the spa lady from the first season, Greg, or later Portia. I think it just symbolizes her co-dependency. In contrast to Albie’s dog the monkey is more symbolic of entertainment too rather than actual companionship.
There's a saying about "monkey's love" in some countries, which is a surface level love or maybe kind of a transactional relationship. I thinks it's the emphasys on a chain as controlling someone.
Also remember steve zahn talked about the man and the monkey
I think the bird attacking represents Harper's insecurity about her marriage. She keeps nitpicking Daphne and Cameron's marriage because it makes her feel bad about hers.
Very accurate. But regarding Mia: that's not a Sphynx, it's a Siren. Originally, sirens from Homer's Odyssey had bird-like features, it was the posterior cultures that represented them more akin to fish.
But, their power was the same, to mesmerize men with their singing and lure them in to kill them.
Other than that, pretty good analysis.
I think both Mia and Lucia are sirens. They even put siren music in the background and Mia literally sings. Sirens will seduce you and drag you to your doom.
I think Cameron is more represented by the dog instead of the statue. Cameron acts cocky but he is actually jealous or threatened of Ethan, so he tries to get something his friend has to feel power again. Ethan is the statue, with his new success and money, and Cameron is the dog still desperate to prove he's still the alpha.
Or it could also be symbolising his wife cheating on him to the point that does not even know his kids aren't his. The one who should be loyal to him, his wife, is actually pissing on him
I noted that Portias actress' name credit has the painted swan... And when we first see Portia, she is wearing a vest with swans on it
I think the swan is Mia (wears a white feathered swan dress) when she seduces Valentina.
You mention the babies are Daphney's kids. I picked up that those aren't Cameron's kids, but her trainers. AS she shows her kids instead of the trainer and Harper picks it up
Yup and that's why he seemed so uninterested in the call with the kids
Alvie’s pose in the credits with the dog looks actually like the image of The Fool in the Waite and other tarot decks. And he is a fool after all.
Albie…I mean.
Yes i thought im the only one thinking like this, I immediately thought about The fool
The donkey with him riding away with a woman isn’t him cheating, it’s him on the Vespa with Jennifer Coolidge character
Asses are also symbols of cuckoldry. The ass looking back at us seems to impart a knowing look: they’re both cuckolding each other, Tanya and Greg.
The opening sequence is so amazing .. the music is brilliant and as we know more about the characters the more the embodiment in the paintings blends as a parallel story told in borroco. This is a opening sequence i dont want to skip
Most definitely! Sums up the show perfectly!
Jon Gries and the donkey: I think this refers to the scene in one of the first episodes in which Greg rents the motorbike and Tanya rides behind him - nearly identical shots as the donkey image. Could it be as simple as a visual pun: Greg is taking Tanya for a ride?
Especially since the girl on the donkey looks like she’s almost falling off and barely hanging on haha I think it’s a parallel of their Vespa ride
Forgot to mention the pictures depicting with dead on accuracy the endings of episodes 4,5 & 6. Oral scene, gay encounter scene and this Sunday's scene which is indicated by 3 gold rings all right next to each other - marital 3 way??? Looks that way!
yeah he skipped the sex part of that season idk what he's afraid of.
@@Voltomess youtube will demonetize the video.
What pictures are you talking about when you say "Oral scene, gay encounter, and 3 gold rings?"
Are these pictures in a trailer or something?
Nevermind, I see you meant the opening. I see the gay oral scene. Not sure how accurate these predictions are.
@@ElectronicCalifornia I thought the three circles represented albie dom and his grandpa
Something significant you might have missed - When things get chaotic as you mention, we see a naked woman caressing a swan. This depicts "Leda and the swan," a story from Greek mythology in which Zeus took the form of a swan and had his way with Leda. As the story goes, Leda lay with both her husband and Zeus in the same night. She also bore two children from Zeus, and two from her husband, the King of Sparta. It's definitely a clue, although I haven't cracked it yet.... It has the most relevance to Ethan, Harper, Cameron and Daphne I feel! Hope someone finds this interesting lol
ive heard about this! and i wonder..could it be harper with ethan and cameron the same night. there are interpretations of Leda and the swan that claim it was sexual assault. could ethan kill cameron over it? could harper possibly feel that the swan/cameron conned her into some sexual act and she kill herself? but also, the two children part makes me think of Daphne..theyre all interesting clues that I wonder if they will truly pan out, or if its a great misdirect. Daphne seems weird in the beginning, says something like "youre going to die"....when speaking to those women on the beach. she must know something more than she lets on.
@@visualoo1918 It might be a total stretch, but since we've seen Harper and Ethan talking about trying and failing for a baby... Maybe Harper does sleep with both on the same night, and we're left to wonder if she faces the same fate as Daphne. Stuck in a superficial marriage filled with dishonesty, and a kid that may not be her husbands. Like she thought she was so superior to Cam and Daphne but under the right conditions, she's exactly like both of them. Also saw Bert telling the story of the rape of Persephone, and Cameron mentioned the "bogus claims" against him when Harper was talking about her work.. That's 3 intentional references to assault now.. I'll be surprised if it doesn't factor in somehow.
@@htrev great theory. I’ve always felt that kids had some larger play here. I wondered if Harper and Ethan are struggling to get pregnant, just tell people it’s a new ambition to have kids. And daphne hinting possibly cam isn’t the father
I agree with the comments on thread. It could be nod to Daphne having "blond, blue-eyed" children with her trainer and her ability to disguise and juggle her duality.
I saw this as Valentina and Mia. The white swan is a symbol of grace, purity, and love and swans are seen as a guidance of love just like Mia helped Valentina embrace her true sexuality.
The way Ethan just made no big deal about Cameron getting naked in front of his wife makes me think they’re about to reveal something about him. He’s been the most reserved this season. It’s like he didn’t care or he was testing Harper to see if she would say anything.
maybe he and Cameron are lovers since school times I think in one episode Cameron said to him "I want to be inside you"
@@Voltomess Greg must re appear and die. Thats a certainty. Quinten also is not as safe as he thinks but wont kill Tanya, Portia is now sober with a drunk Jack and will leave and head to the party without him, so Jack is no longer of relevance. Portia could be shot trying to save Tanya but she will not be the dead female. It has to be Harper - her and Cam have set the whole thing up thats why she doesnt give a shit about Ethan and cared more about the fact that Cam cheated again not on Daphne but her - Harper, so I reckon Daphne can kill Harper if Cam doesnt. Terrific show the best since
@@financediyguy1187 Nice this is interesting!!.
@@financediyguy1187 interesting theory. It is very odd that Harper didn’t let things go once Ethan confessed to what really happened the night they were apart. She’s been too obsessed with Cameron and Daphne’s relationship this entire time.
@@financediyguy1187 well this aged very poorly lol
I think the first scene is depicting Rocco with Isabella, and its Valentina watching them
Good shout!
Very interesting observations. Only one i disagree with is Cameron and the urinating dog. I think this is more likely a representation of Cameron's self-image (the beautiful statue) and other characters seeing through it (literally, pissing on it). Ethan, Harper and Daphne all see through his bluster
I agree; I also see it tie into the "loyalty" associated with the dog mentioned with Albie, so I think this dog pissing represents the relationship between Ethan and Harper. Their relationship still has loyalty to one another, so maybe their loyal relationship is pissing on Cameron's inflated self-image?
WOW !!!!! What an incredible breakdown of the opening title, just like in GOT everything has a meaning to the storyline. Thanks to expert reviewing like yourself , you help us all to better understand and enjoy the programs we watch . Again thanks , your talents are much appreciated . Continued good health
Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed the video!
@@BrainPilot you forgot to say anything about oral sex at the beach picture which was the end scene of episode 4 and right after that they show picture of goat and buck having sex which represents the end scene of episode 5, basically all those pictures show you all what is going to happen from episode 1 to the end.
I cannot believe I haven’t seen this commented- the two babies- when Daphne is describing her trainer in episode 5- blonde hair, big blue eyes and a big smile- and shows the picture of her kids to Harper who have all of these traits… I believe the children, or at least the elder child, is not Cameron’s child. It’s genetically unlikely with his dominant dark features.
I was thinking the same thing
exactly what i thought, and in the later episodes Daphne was on a call w her kids and was calling Cameron over but he kinda ignored her and seem annoyed to have to talk to them
Agree with this. Could also be a reason why Daphne just puts up with Cameron's infidelity, as she too did wrong to him and ended up pregnant.
Could the dog peeing on the statue signify either Daphne or Ethan losing their loyalty toward him? Going back to your statements on dogs symbolism in art
That could well be the case!
Or that he deserves to be peed on by a dog. Some things aren’t metaphorical.
The one brought up about Lucia is interesting. It makes me think of the saying "the cat that ate the canary" , which if you google that term, it states "acting smug/ self satisfied, while concealing something prohibited" OR "a person whose appearance and behavior suggest guilt mixed with satisfaction." Makes me think of the way she interacted with Dom when he confronted her about sleeping with Albie.
I was waiting someone makes this video
Thank you! This was great!
I need this analysis on Season 1 opening I’m begging this is so so good
Glad you enjoyed the vid!
@@BrainPilot Please analyze Season 1 as well! We love the show!!
Wow...I had no idea that so much thought was put into the opening artwork symbolism.
Season 1 also had symbolism in the intro.
Excellent analysis of the opening credits. Reminiscent of GOT intro where it would start with epic music and include realms involved in episode (is this a HBO thing?). I agree with Albie being loyal like a dog, but he's also naive and being led like a love struck puppy. The other dog could be peeing on the statue symbolizing Cameron because dogs are good judges of character.
Thanks a lot! Good take on Albie!
Thank you for your videos, they are tying me over until the next episode is dropped!
Glad you’re enjoying them. Thanks for tuning into them 😊
but i still dont get those 3 holes in the intro sequence to which they zoom twice as if trying to prove a point?
Nice breakdown
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed
Tom hollander was represented by the statue of Dionysus or Bacchus, the ancient god of wine and party.
Thank you! This was an awesome breakdown! The intro song is such a banger! Haha 😂😂
I was a little upset when they changed it from season 1 but now this is my preferred version
It’s a weirdly catchy score! Suits the show perfectly!
If season 3 is not in Heaven, then they missed the point of Jennifer Coolidge being the biblical White Lotus. 🌸
Great idea!! I’m hoping she’s not really dead.
@@maryellenputnam-reinhardt3305 she will be welcomed to the Pearly Gates by Armond & a silver tray of cocaine.
This was brilliant!
Enlightening analysis- new to the channel, but hope you explore more art and symbolism. Recalling paintings of St. Sebastian and St. Lucy and curious about context
So many male commentators are saying that Harper cheated on Ethan with Cameron. While the female analysts and commentators all say that there isn’t a chance in hell that Harper would touch Cameron, who she looks at as a vile, despicable creature.
Guys…trust the women. They know. He’s gross.
And...you are wrong on so many levels. Womansplaining is a thing too, you know...
@@shenyataylor2904 Not wrong. Harper made her thoughts clear about Cameron throughout the series, and to his face in the last episode.
Harper still hates the rich. She just played games so she could be Ethan’s new porn. She had to do it to save their marriage. And it did!
No way would Harper let Cam have sex with her. It’s to create mystery so her marriage has spice.
@@lindajohnsonkaplan647 Agree 100% The scene in Noto, where Daphne shares her ‘system’ with Harper is Stepford Wives level creepy. I got the same vibe when Daphne lures Ethan off to the Island for his induction into the club. Harper’s the only one who hasn’t been pulled in. although it’s troubling that, in the departure lounge at the airport, she doesn’t seem aware of what her husband has become. Run Harper, run.
I knew. the opening sequence had to mean something!! so interesting
I think Greg is in cahoots with Quentin. Was he the Straight American cowboy Quentin described as his one love?
He wasn’t described as being the cowboy but all fingers are pointing towards him!
Did anyone notice Quentin smoking Marlboro reds? I have an Aunt that calls them "cowboy killers". I found it interesting that he had an American brand of cigarettes. How did he get them? Could they have been a gift from Greg? I've never been to Italy. Are Marlboro a popular brand overseas?
It seems like a red herring to me - could very well be possible but may not lead to the deaths we expect - but who knows! That’s why this show is brilliant!
@@sdeb82 hmm, red herring?
@@krazykaye8843 lol. They sell them worldwide.
Omggg you did ittt❤
This is amazing, makes me feel insufficient for not spotting it
ha, am I dumb? It didn't even cross my mind that the paintings were referring to the characters. I just thought it was a wonderful take on that kind of baroque wallpaper, which was enough out there that I was pretty sure was created for the show, but that's where my interpretation stopped.
thankkkk uu for this analisis
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lucia asks Mia to use the key to search the rooms for the money owed them . Then Mia is accidentally killed by Ethan who thinks it is Cameron in their room . Lucia realizes Mia has been killed and goes crazy . These people that she wanted to scam for just a little money have killed her friend and she takes a lot of them out.
That would be an interesting plot twist.
I think Aubrey Plaza being the bird that's being torn at is Harper's sudden entry into this rich world - at first she hates Daphne and Cameron, the 'rich people bullshit' and judges them for being superficial and materialistic. But obviously she gets torn down by the lifestyle until she gives in to it, cheating on Ethan and buying into Daphne's 'blissful ignorance' philosophy to finally appear somehow content.
I think the man playing the instrument next to Albie’s character also represents his performative feminism that leads him to get taken advantage of, it’s also looks like the dog is kinda stealing something from him while he is distracted by lust like the girls did in the end.
Re: the Marlboro Man: In 1997 I was in NYU Film School with several Italians, there to soak up American culture as much as learn filmmaking, including one that became a special friend. He was a farm boy growing up at the foot of the Italian Alps, though from a very old & illustrious Greek (Cretan) family. He told me of his love for horse riding and liked to fancy himself as the Marlboro Man, though he didn't smoke. Apparently this was a common image of the quintessential American for young Italians at the time (1980s-90s).
Sir Anthony Blunt (as shown in Alan Bennett's A Question of Attribution) couldn't have done better in decoding the allegory of the opening titles; obviously a lot of time and effort was put in to producing this montage set to chime in with ethereal music.
wow great job👌🏻
Thanks!
A dog peeing on that statue, represents fidelity challenging it, I reckon. 😄
I loved the opening...I wached it many, many times!!!
Same, the score was great too!
They got that wrong, I reckon - a cat with prey was used as a symbol of virtue, for example, see Bosch's 'Garden of Earthly Delights' - the cat-with-mouse is in the panel of virtues. I've always wondered why - perhaps you could investigate and explain, - what does it represent? I tattooed it on my shoulder, and most do not realise that it represents a virtue. The Venician publisher Sessa, used it as their printer's device (which I copied for my tattoo).
Wow. Well done.
The Albie picture (guy with a dog) reminds me of the Fool in the tarot
Wow, and I just thought they shot some wall paintings at the hotel they were filming the show and then randomly put the names to it..
That... was Friggen Amazing !
tbh, I missed each and every visual hint in the opening of the show when I watched them ( I just watched the finale with a WhaaaadaWow !) . Poor (whiny) Tanya , Sad Irony.
Just noticed that Portia is spelled Porsha in the time stamps :DD
Figured the first couple and peering woman was Valentina in the lobby with her staff
Masterpiece 🔥
Totally agree - it's a well thought out title sequence!
Also Daphne's babies are implied not to be Ethan's.
6:21 I personally don't agree that the dog peeing on Theo's statue represents his possessiveness and materialism. Those are indeed key traits of his character - but the fact that dog is peeing on the human figure itself (representative of Theo) doesn't logically drive that point across. I believe the more crude and direct interpretation to be the most logical and intentional one - that the dog peeing on the statue simply represents the value of Theo's true character, in contrast to how he believes himself to be perceived.
During the end of the title, there are hints of either Isabella and Valentina or Daphne and Harper.
I wish you would have covered all the actors in your analysis. Otherwise very insightful.
Great analysis! I have a further opinion about Theo James’ frame: the dog may symbolize his “best friend” Ethan, who was sticking around him like his puppy during college, but years later Cameron became envious because his shy, insecure and not so cool roommate made more money than him and had more professional success, “screwing” Cameron’s ego.
I really loved the season and I think it’s even better than the previous one!
Thanks - glad you enjoyed the video!
Ethan wasn't his best friend they just shared the same room during college
7:37 mistake there in saying Portia works for......Portia? i think he meant Tanya
Brillant
I think Quinton and Jack will die. And it will have something to do with Quinton trying to kill Tanya.
I also think quinton and Jack or people from their group end up dead
@@BabyBoy_Milo but ive been thinking and…last season the gay man died, so, would mike white kill a gay dude two seasons in a row? eek.
Isnt a man and a dog symbolize as the fool from tarot card ?? Correct me if im wrong
I have a WILD theory about the "other guests" Rocco mentions that are dead -- aside from the body in the water. Giuseppe [the piano player] who has nothing, NOTHING else to live for, but his job -- poisoned random guests. To get back at Mia for leading him on and for and nearly killing him and Valentina for giving Mia his job. What could be worse for Valentina than guests dying from food poisoning? Lest we forget, for some ODD reason, the guests all have dinner at the hotel, Cam even made a comment about knowing the menu. Knowing this, Giuseppe could have easily slipped back into the hotel kitchen and randomly poison some of the guests.
Maybe the lady's (Tonya's) monkey on a chain is Portia instead of Greg? Tonya keeps Portia on a short leash.
I thought Portia was the girl in the tower and Tanya was the monkey!
While some of the symbols mentioned are very pertinent to the series. It is fairly obvious that there is no connection to a particular actors name as it appears .. that would be rather silly and this opening is much more sophisticated.
This!! I've been hoping someone would make this, thank you so much!! There are some amazing evaluations in this. I am so addicted to this season's credits, it's a freaking masterpiece.
These were some of my thoughts!! (spoilers)
I think two Cherubs for Daphne also represents her infidelity, as the pictures of her kids was a massive reveal, basically the confirmation that she most definitely cheats too, and the kids aren't Cameron's.
I thought the couple on the Donkey was simply a reflection of Greg and Tanya on the vespa haha and the donkey shows how painful it is, but I liked this explanation better.
Dominic kneeling, being a slave to women ie.. having a sex addiction he cannot temper, perhaps? But also bowing to his wife and her unable to forgive him, for sure.
Theo/ Cameron's starting off on his dick aka is he controlled by his dick?? Probably. He is a dickhead.
The two birds for Harper representing her need to find something wrong with Daphne and Cameron's relationship, the constant picking and gnawing at the topic. And the inevitable destruction that follows.
Tom Hollander/Quentin's was pretty apt, being half naked surrounded by his possé, but also with a spear in his hand, disguised with roses maybe? Showing that there is intention to do damage, to kill, but also the deceit around the intention.
Sabrina Impacciatore/Valentina's I thought the woman on the left and on the far right could both be versions of her. The left one shows her at the beginning of the series seriously disapproving Mia and Lucia, and looking down on them. The version of her on the far right showing her acceptance, her need to be with a woman in order to find herself, her happiness after the fact, and her connection with Mia.
Will Harper/Ethan's was tricky. He is naked but covering himself from the woman's view, maybe showing the need to give his body to the woman, but deciding to hide it from view and offer her a bowl of fruit instead, which she doesn't want. So pretty much his and Harper's relationship being on the rocks and lack of sex life? And reserving his 'naked self', his libido, for when she's not around (jacking off to porn).
Leo Woodall/ Jack being under someone else's control (that one's pretty obvious).
And then everything starts getting so chaotic I LOVE IT!!
Daphne with cherubs surrounded by flowers depicts her character well, looks innocent and beautiful
If i remember correctly, roses or flower on men sometimes symbolize homosexuality but i could be wrong
@@iansurya2985 her character or her mask? if she got back at Cameron by having children with her trainer, then passing them off as his, that’s the height of vengeful guile, not innocence.
I wish they would put painting in the style of Fransisco Soria (a painter who who used to draw in classic and realistic style but would sometimes draw faces with broad smiles)
Zeus used to disguise himself as a swan whenever he wanted to seduce women, to avoid getting caught by Hera, his wife. The swan is a deceitful married man. Portia and her swan jumper - Jack was another man committed elsewhere, playing her.
Do ANDOR please 🙏🏼
Is nice when an opening sequence needs to be explained.
Was just as fun delving into it!
First scene description is completely wrong, the guy in the first scene represents Tanya's present and ex-relationships, Tanya is the lady with the monkey looking down and looking sad that all men in her life have been untrustworthy, the high tower represents Tanya's wealth and the monkey is symbol of spa lady or Portia.
and the lady in the drawing looking around the corner has a wedding ring on her finger implying thats his wife catching him cheating
you missed like half of the intro
I don’t think the pictures represent each character but that they show us nothing is as it seems they are secrets and tragedies all about
oral sex at the beach picture which was the end scene of episode 4 and right after that they show picture of goat and buck having sex which represents the end scene of episode 5, basically all those pictures show you all what is going to happen from episode 1 to the end.
Mike White has confirmed that each image does indeed correspond with the actor name alongside it, in some way.
@@greg7656 ok, thx. i wonder what the leda and the swan is about….
@@thunderousapplause not sure about that one. Leda and the swan is usually interpreted as Zeus raping Leda. So far we haven't seen a rape, but we have seen Jack sleeping with Portia under very false circumstances. And the swan isn't always interpreted as rape - sometimes it's consensual. I'd suggest this is reflected in the murky circumstances under which Jack and Portia are sexually involved - and Jack is, no doubt, the beautiful swan (don't forget, the swan is a disguise of Zeus, a false identity)
@@greg7656 i DID forget the swan was Zeus. eesh. ok, hm, lotta fakery going on…who is zeus? rocco? jk. haa. no rapes, thank goodness, unless thats the rest of the tanya story…and she kills niccolo w a knife (like in the painting in bedrm)? …what happened to the swam after?

“And that is GAY” lol…
There’s also the two goats having sex, which may symbolize Jack and Quentin. Goats are usually associated with virility and lust and the scene forshadows their true relationship.

i think a lot of these are a stretch. its pretty easy to make things symbolic if you manipulate it hard enough
16th century inspired art? Gurl...lol more like 17/18th
I believe that one or both of Daphne’s children have been fathered by her blonde haired trainer, not Cameron.
And her showing Harper her blonde haired children 🧒🧒instead of her trainer was no accident!
She didn’t even try to find the trainer picture because she had shown the exact one she meant for Harper to see 👀
This will be why the 2 cherubs 👶👶 are shown by Meghann Fahy’s (Daphne) name.
How this factors into the murder mystery is beyond me other than that Daphne may not feel locked to Cameron through their kids and could leave with them whenever she wants to 🤔
You did not explain the title sequences
in relation to the names of the actors
playing Jack and his gay uncle as well as
the actress portraying the lesbian hotel
manager. Your analysis is incomplete.
I had literally not been able to watch the title sequence for season 2. The music is so disturbing to me and causes me anxiety I cannot explain. I don't remember having this problem with the title sequence of Season 1, tho I watched it the first couple episodes and then skipped over it later, as I am very impatient. But Season 2 title sequence just has a very odd effect on me. After watching this video, I made myself listen to it all the way thru, and yes, it was disturbing and then got almost unbearably annoying to my ears. I can say I did it once. I can also say I won't listen to it again. I TRULY appreciate this video, where I could learn about and appreciate the visuals without having to hear that dreadful music! Thank you, BrainPilot!!
dude, u probably need to see a doctor or something. the title sequence for season 2 is dark...yes. but if it really disturb u like this u may have a deeper bigger issue. Good luck amigo
@@sultanaljuhani1571 I do take medication for anxiety. I have wondered if this music triggers some old (or even past life) traumatic event. I think it could be Bert, Albie and Dominic. Giuseppe threatens Albie, Bert tries to defend him but Albie gets shot/stabbed and Bert suffers a heart attack. Dominic commits suicide and is the body in the water.
I don’t think so.
It’s 18th century art …
I think some of these interpretations are too direct and too on the nose...
the value judgments being applied here actually make the show less interesting.
Reading the cherubs as "daphne's two children" completely misses the mortal ambiguity of cherubs/cupids as signs of mischief, fertility, erotic love, innocence, peace, and play.
Similarly, I don't think the birds represent the animosity between Daphne and Harper at all. When you look at the birds, you made to ask are the birds fighting? or playing? If so, what are they playing or fighting about?
I think the birds speak to the sense of ambiguity and discovery more than just that one character "looks down" on another.
I do agree that the statue reminiscent of David speaks to Cameron's sense of entitlement and grandeur tho.
That’s a cat in Albie’s opening credit shot btw… lol
The opening sequence is my least favorite part of the entire show. I don't really understand why I disliked it so much... I disliked the pictures, but the music was worse. I knew I should be paying attention to the hints, but I couldn't.
The fact you didn't call out Daphne's infidelity when you see the children (as she raised her trainer's children) is pretty astonishing.... this video essay is a poor analysis.
Horrible ending to the second season, so disappointing.
How come you wasn't a fan of it? I've seen a few mixed responses!
