Thank you so much! Very easy to follow. I cleaned my grandsons car seat which I thought was a lost cause. Looks like new. I did use a hemostat to help secure the loops. Excellent work.

I don’t think you’re supposed to submerge it in water, it says in the manual because the belts will supposedly start to fray and become weak 😭
NEVER submerge the straps off any carseat.

A tip for getting the shoulder straps through the back slit opening is to use a fork to grab it as it’s coming through. That’s what I ended up having to do. Felt impossible otherwise.
Spend 10 minutes trying to get through, see this comment, 30 seconds!

Can the base come off the carseat 😫 thats what im trying to find lol. I want to clean the straps n all.
My issue is trying to clean the base. Crumbs and other things fall through the seat and accumulate at the base. Any idea how to disassemble and clean that part?
That's what I am also looking for & have not yet been successful. 😪
Vacuums, toothbrushes, Qtips... You never disassemble anything.
It's not suggested to eat in a carseat due to choking.

I put the base out in the yard and spray hose with whatever brush I can find handy
It cleans up really well

Where is the hooked between rope shoulder? I can’t find it.
I've watched three videos and on mine there are two white clips on the very front that I can't get loose. Though all the videos show that they are already loose when taking the seat apart. 🤷🏻♂️
I have the same thing! You just have to use a little more force. Pull straight out so you don’t snap it on accident (not at an angle) and they’ll come out!

I'm trying to remove the straps to clean them but can't figure out how to get them out getting frustrated
The straps are spot clean only with a damp cloth.
For me the food is stunk under the grey metal bars, this video didn't get me any further I got myself maybe I'll just try and power wash it out under that area use high water pressure lol
You cannot hose down or use a pressure washer on the seat. It isn't permitted per the manufacturer and it is not safe to use the seat after doing that. The screws and metal pieces in the seat will rust and not function properly

I thought you’re not supposed to use antibacterial wipes and to only wash using a mild detergent no fragrance…
Thankyou for the information.. I used mild detergent but for the fresh smell I used some fragrance.
You cannot use antibacterial wipes on a carseat. You cannot use scent beads, or any other additives to clean the cover, mild soap only. Please read your manual. It does not allow these cleaning methods
Sadly the majority are gonna ignore your absolutely truthful comment and rather remain ignorant. The seats are flame retardant for a reason, doing the things she said to do will cause the seat to go up in flames during an accident
Hello! If there are flames inside your vehicle you have about 5 seconds before you're dead. A 100% flame retardant car seat will be the last thing you're worrying about. 🙄 Besides that, flame retardant causes cancer.
