My SIL is a state trooper and his coworker specializes in car seat safety and instruction. He said you can't go wrong with Graco carseats! Extremely safe, and he has pulled many of these seats out of car accidents where they protected the child VERY well. Don't waste your money on high priced, overhyped $1,000 car seats!

I ordered a $44 booster seat for my 4 yr old.. They accidentally sent me this $200 seat. At first I was pretty annoyed but when I researched it and it said 65 pounds I decided to keep it.
    Best decision I’ve ever made.
Fits perfectly for my 4 yr old ,40 pounds and 41 inches... with a lot of room to grow!
Even put my 6 yr old nephew in it and 10 month old friends baby. Perfect fit and so quick and easy to adjust.
It was also very easy to install
    Literally took me 5 minutes!
Plus it has the IHHS crash test highest rating for side impact and overall safety...
It’s also a lot more narrow than other convertible car seats. I put it in the middle of my compact car(Ford Focus) and it takes up no more room than her last 5 point harness seat.
Literally the best seat I’ve ever bought or seen.

Canadian Version: When the baby is 22+lbs and back facing, the leg extender panel *MUST* be used at position 3 or 4. This will leave less room for the passenger on a smaller vehicle.

Thanks for your videos. I have to buy a car seat for my 1yo and with all these options I am getting a headache. There's some as low as $50, all the way up to $400 and more. I realize my child's safety is priceless but I feel like some of these car seats shouldn't be so highly priced. I was relieved when I saw one of your videos stating that all car seats on the market meet or exceed safety requirements so now I have to decide which one to buy. The only one available in my town is the Graco 4ever DLX. It's $250 but I like it and if it has good reviews, I'm sold. Britax can be bought for $50 cheaper but their cheapest model isn't an all in 1.

Great review, thank you - I just ordered 2 for my youngest daughter (1 for our vehicle, 2nd for my in laws vehicle) . We have the 4ever fit for her older sister, but the Extend2Fit's were on sale for about 45% off so for the price of 2x it's just a tiny bit over the cost of 1x 4Ever fit , so it made the decision pretty easy , esp since we can just buy our oldest a separate booster and move our youngest into the 4ever fit down the road :)

I ended up getting an extend2fit. they're cool and i like the extra room. i also got a Chicco NextFit Zip Max. that one is better with a built in extension instead of a moving part. i feel the chicco would be safer but we still have both. 1 for each car so yeah there ya go extension is better

I bought this car seat because I love that it allows for rear facing longer, However it does not fit in the center of my Ford Escape rear facing, only forward facing. I know the center seat and rear facing is safest but this won't instal with the latch in center as they are to wide apart per manufacturer. I tried with the seatbelt but to loose. So I have it rear facing on the passenger side and it fits perfect there with latch. Baby is nearing 3 years old so debating switching him to forward facing in center (as it fits well in center forward facing only with seatbelt) OR keep him rear facing on passenger side longer. He is comfortable there and height nor weight limit is near the max for the seat. I just worry about the rare but more dangerous side impact. I know rear facing is safest in the case of the more common front or rear collision. What do you think is safest? Appreciate any feedback! Thank you in advance :)

Carol E I’m not a tech so I wouldn’t know you just have to try. Install it then see if it moves more than an inch. If so move it to the outside seats and try latch (under 45pound with this seat) remember u can’t use latch in the middle.

Great question! In the manual, this is what it says about the headrest pillow: "Curved bottom of head pillow allows for head pillow to be pulled down to fit smaller infants."
For reference, we found a video where you can see a smaller looking baby in the seat here: ruclips.net/video/RfvmztvydVM/видео.html and an even smaller one here: ruclips.net/video/OGD_dHY49J0/видео.html

      @kikimalla5456 4 года назад +1

They are latches to hook onto on the back seat of your car. If you have an suv it’s through the trunk and a small car I believe is up on top by the rear shield. Latch it in and tighten it

    • @Babylist-Videos

Convertible car seats (like this one) don't actually click onto strollers. You might be thinking about an INFANT car seat (sometimes called a bucket seat). Infant car seats can be taken out of the car easier and clip into a compatible stroller with the correct car seat adapter. Here's a few videos that might help explain further:
