Guild wars does Not only Not Tell you everything straight "in your face", it even hides some stuff extremly good, Like jumping Puzzles without any hints in the Maps 😂 i love it 🥰
This game has the best wiki of any game, but the best resource is other people! Even if you don't want to do endgame group content yet there are people who want to do the same things as you or are willing to help. Reach out and make friends!
Absolutely! When I first started playing I was always pleasantly surprised how helpful people in map chat often are. And now I just try to pay it forward!
oooh I really like this, clear and concise without too much extras that makes things more overwhelming, the fuzzy raptor and griffin the icing on the cake! great vid!
Watching a tough guy explaining GW2... "You can unlock griffon" a cute fluffy griffon pop up... "the raptor..." a cute fluffy raptor appears... .... he must have a soft heart.../////
Nice mini guide of the game, it gives a good idea of the overall idea of the game and shows how massive gw is without being overwhelming. I just missed a little reference to pvp/wvw.
Haha I probably should have talked about WvW/PvP. Honestly, I never do either (barely have, at least) so it didn't cross my mind, but that is a good point!
I played gw2 a couple of years ago, i have 3 level 80's on my account, i am a bit unsure about redoing the story from core, would it be possible to maybe replay path of fire and take it from there?
Yep, once you hit 80, you can really do any story content in whatever order you want. If you care about the actual story, I'd recommend at least watching a summary of what happens between core and PoF, but jumping to PoF is exactly what I did. I wanted those mounts!
Lol yeah they do not tell you much, been playing since day 1 of GW, you get used to it and adds another option of just exploring the worlds to find stuff,
@@avoxtr I don’t tell people I have no clue how to lead any particular meta or WvW unless I am causing confusion or disbanding squad after the run x)) Just did lab train never ever joining labyrinth train prior to it and only hearing about allowing to do race for buff once. Managed to get some amazingly disciplined soldiers while faking myself to be pro by using clock directions.
I tend not to tag up unless I'm pretty confident in my ability to lead well and answer questions, but there's always a bit of a leap the first time I command something I haven't led before, even if I know it pretty well!
@@avoxtr I originally bought tag because I did orange catmander on big spender day and was like ‘f it, I want catmander tag just in case!’ And then found myself on overflow maps around midnight metas in HoT and realized it’s me tag up and lfg or map failed. Been enriching my repertoire of leading stuff for 2,5 months now, pretty able to do bounty trains, hard metas, HP (though I pass on opportunity because I don’t frequent mesmer) and even could lead raids but I have neurological issues so try to stay away from stress of multitasking and overstimulation
It's amazing how powerful those tags are! There have been metas where I tagged up because no one else was, and I was only somewhat familiar with the encounter. So I just looked it up on the wiki, passed along some basic directions, and we were still successful! I think for some encounters, just having *a* leader is better than none.

It's a fine line between "exploration" and "where the hell am I?" And sometimes GW2 is less successful there 😂
raptor and griffon plushy mounts, nice :D
Eagerly awaiting the release of more plushie mount skins 🧸

Hey consider linking some EU raid trainings too like RTI or Crossroads Inn ! great video!
Great tip, got them both added to the description!

@@avoxtr thanks i will take a look. Its quite overwhelming returning to a tonne of buttons when you have no idea what they do!
This game's biggest strength is the community. So if you have any questions, just ask! Even map chat in game is usually really helpful
👍👍👏👏❤️

Superb introduction, sir! Will refer it to any English-speaking newbie and then whisper ‘psst, btw, I have a comm tag, wanna start a commotion now?’
Tag up and aim to misbehave!

I came from GW1 too! It took me about 8 years to adjust 😂
