It actually runs pretty well! That was my husband's MacBook Air, but he still usually uses Parsec or GeForceNow rather than running it natively anyway.

Ps: do you have an idea how I as an MacBook user (Air, M1) could use blish or TacO? Currently I’m playing with GeForce (Steam) and as far as I know there is no way to install these “mods” there.

TaCO should work because it's a DLL that gets rendered in the game, like arcdps, but people have reported mixed success with arc on macOS too. Blish is iffy on Linux, and that's WITH the comically powerful customization that KDE offers for window management, so I wouldn't count on it anytime soon :(

Yes! If you play through the story sequentially, it will progress you through them in chronological order. Once you hit level 80 you CAN choose to go out of order and jump around if, for example, you want to go to Path of Fire and unlock a bunch of different mounts. But if you want to just go through story in order, all of the expacs and DLC basically make up one big story.

Yeah, they need to do a better job not leaving you with the inventory trash for unlocked skins. The idea is you can use the item to apply a skin without consuming a transmutation charge, but most people would rather have the inventory space!

You might be surprised how quick you can get on an MMO mouse, even for high APM builds!

@@avoxtr I have one. And it's impossible to play weaver optimally with just the thumb buttons. Not when Quickness/Alacrity is a thing. The rotation literally requires you to press weapon skills, _while_ shifting attunement, and while pressing two instant utilities simultaneously. Again, you only have one right thumb. You can't use it to press 3 buttons at the same time.

Yeah, at first installing Fedora on my laptop was just a fun experiement. Now I'm at the point where if it weren't for BlishHUD, I would be running it full time on my desktop as well. My desktop is basically only for GW2 and video editing anyway!

That's a Warclaw! They are currently the WvW mount (though you CAN use it in open world), and in the video they showed one of the new skins for it.

I would say EoD, mostly for the elite spec, but you also get strikes, story conclusion, and turtle mount

I've never heard anyone pronounce any of those like that except soto ("so toe"), which I've also heard as "ess oh tee oh" on occasion. I've always heard "aitch oh tee" or "hot" for HoT, "pee oh eff" for PoF, and "eye bee ess" for IBS. I doubt I'll ever hear anyone say "jay wee" for JW, but probably will hear "jay double you".

@@handheadman That's the point, phonetically in that context means that it is pronounced as spelled. If it was then HoT would be "hot," PoF would be "pof," and IBS would be "ibs."

Have you really ever heard anyone pronounce those as ehh (rhymes with meh), ooo (oo rhymes with two (three consecutive 'O's aren't found in any English pronunciation guide)), eii (ei typically rhymes with lay (eii is not found in any English pronunciation guide, but for the sake of argument "eii" does appear in "Pompeii", which also has a long 'A' sound (Pom pay))), ees (rhymes with lease), or wee (rhymes with tea)? I hadn't intended to go into the peculiarities of English pronunciation before sunrise, but zero sleep and some of your odd pronunciation suggestions set me on the path, so here we are.😆 At any rate, the proposition in your initial comment doesn't fully align with all the ways people refer to the expansion names, but the lack of a preposition in Janthir Wilds absolutely differentiates it from all the other expansion names (IBS doesn't count, because it was released as Living World content under a different name, not as paid expansion, but EoD (End of Dragons) does qualify), so the observation that Avoxtr and others have noted is what sets JW apart in a list of expansion titles and their abbreviations. And that's all I have to say about that, particularly since writing this on a tablet in bed was as bad as any nightmare i might have had if I had been able to sleep.😂✌📤

I actually haven't had an issue with that, but that's nothing some compressed air can't solve! Everything inside appears to be coated, so it's not *actually* a bunch of exposed electronics. The only issue I've had is some gunk build up in between the side keys. I'm also obsessed about occasionally cleaning my electronics, so again, easy fix.

I thought about doing a discussion on keyboard, but to be honest you can just run anything, it wouldn't be like an MMO/GW2-specific choice. Personally I like TKLs, and I like low profile mechanical. If those sound interesting to you, check out the Keychron K1, and maybe the Nuphy Air 96 (which isn't a TKL but it's a damn good keyboard)

@@avoxtr I have been running a 60% keyboard and iwas trying to find something else, because i used to play fps but i feel like i am missing keys for gw2

It'll definitely come down to your keybinds. I will say if you're running an MMO mouse you can devote pretty much all of those keys to your skills, and that just leaves movement and ancillary functions. I used a 60% for a while, and it was fine, I just missed having dedicated home/end/PgUp/PgDn/Scrn etc for other stuff!

@@avoxtr What do you think and if do you have an opinion on logitech 502 or aerox 5, because i dont need those many buttons and it is kinda bulky and i have small hands.
