Well, I actually dreamed about you last night, sir😅 it was just a nap and you were there. 😂 I've been watching your youtube lessons from the start and this might be the reason why. 😂
I have night terrors ( on going from a young age I’m 31 now, still have them. But i have them mixed with sleep paralysis ... so ill wake up with sleep paralysis while still half asleep in a night terror. When i gain control of my body from my sleep paralysis , ive been known to hit my husband bc hes next to me.. take off running, stop breathing, ect, and i guess bc i have them mixed together i have very vivid memories of every night terror ive ever had.. and if I don’t stay awake for about 30 mins or so, ill fall right back into the same night terror... its horrible .. ive been in all types of sleep studies and stuff. Ive been shot in dreams and when i wake up i can feel the physical pain of it *or whatever bad happened in the dream* for about 10 mins or so. It’s really messed up. No medication or anything has ever helped it and sadly ive never grown out of it. They believe after a lot of therapy that its based around severe childhood trauma.
@@Malik.R74 actually yeah. It helps me sleep a little harder… but it hasnt ever stopped the actual night terrors bc theyre closer to me waking up by then lol
The parent comment here is describing a nightmare more than night terrors. The vivid recall, paralysis, and the association with trauma all speak to something occurring in REM, not in NREM, where true night terrors occur. I hope OP has since undergone a comprehensive sleep study to get to the root of their problem, but I wanted to include this note so that students don’t get misled by anecdote and miss a question on an exam or something.
Random thought but could the pocket watch pendulum cliche we see with hypnotists have a similar effect to EMDR in helping you achieve a more dissociative state?
I've watched all the vids and I totally would go to this school just to be this guys student. Freaking awesome teacher.
I've been thinking of that too. 😂😂😂

Ohh man, that's really terrifying. Have you got any medications or maybe you should see some neurologist maybe. I hope you get well.

I just don't understand what exactly is hypnosis. And if it's real, can we use it on ourselves. That'd be amazing.
Actually you experience time dialation , dreamed many times stuff that i perceive as minutes and in fact I was dreaming for hours
I thought it was the other way around where dreams feel like hours but it’s really only a couple of minutes
