Thank you for the feedback and correction. I realized that after I had already uploaded the video. Please also checkout my new video on the GS 1300 with a low seat. it took care of most of my gripes. :) Really loved that one in comparison to the trophy. The trophy looks better though.
You are not supposed to close the throttle when using the quick shifter. I wondered if that was your issue as I've seen many other videos without that jerking.
I know but that's out of habit and on the S1000 XR, and K1600 as well as even on a 2012 Kawasaki Concours, Triumph tigers of all generations, Honda Goldwing and many other bikes, it just does not make a difference whether you close the throttle or not. So that's why I was surprised.
Shifting stay on the throttle and not shift at 3,000 RPMs. Rev the engine. The Enduro package does nothing for the suspension unless you get the sport suspension. IT is 20mm higher and stiffer. What mode were you riding on each bike?
Thank you for the tip. I tried both road and rain modes. It is unpredictable, but I know that one can get used to it. Just spoiled by creamy shifters of other bikes such as S1000XR, K1600 Triumph Tiger, Goldwing, and many others, where it doesn't matter whether you are off throttle or WOT. But this is an unbelievable bike otherwise.
I agree. My 2020 XR was butter smoother. I am currently on a 2022 GSA which I competed in the GS Trophy qualifier this year on. My 1300 is sitting in a crate waiting to be shipped from Germany. @@desi_enthusiast
Awesome. That sounds like a lot of fun. 👍. I also bought the second but swapped the low seat with high comfort one. Honestly, the good quick shifters work both ways. Throttle off or on. So people who only have experience with a certain types of bikes might want to try the ones with great quick shifters instead of trying to tell us how it is done. 😀
The Eduro package also comes with sport suspension that is not adaptive and it is different from the one I am riding in this video. I bought this bike by the way. You also might want to ride some bikes with great quick shifters where throttle off or on is irrelevant.
@@desi_enthusiast That is awesome. I get mine on Wednesday. The Enduro package does not come with the sport suspension. It is a separate option. It retains all adaptive systems but does not lower. It is 20mm higher than the standard suspension.
Enduro package has same suspension. The taller sport suspension is a different option and not available with adaptive height control.

Pan America thats a nice bike
I also loved the Harley Pan America and wanted to buy it, but overall, qaulity was lacking and the engine heat just a big turn off.
