Thor's hammer in the early morning is spectacular! The high bounces off of the rock wall behind it and gives it a beautiful glow.

Bryce Canyon is definitely a super gorgeous place! The hoodoos are so intricately carved by nature that they almost look human-made at times.

I went to Bryce Canyon last month. As someone not from the area, the views especially from Bryce Point are so out of this world! I do recommend hiking into the amphitheater and it was so cool to be walking within all the hoodoos

If you have a whole day and want to do a longer hike, you can combine the Queen's Garden and Navajo Loop with the Peekaboo Trail. I hiked from Sunrise Point to Bryce Point and back via the Queen's Garden trail and Peekaboo Loop. It was about 10 miles (16km) and completely worth it. I did it in the snow in April with micro-spikes on and it was great! With Queen's Garden, you get up close to the hoodoos and then on the Peekaboo trail you can get to see the hoodoos up close but also amongst more trees lower in the amphitheater. Peekaboo Trail was also very quiet and not crowded at all. Bryce Point in my opinion has the most dramatic view of Bryce Canyon from a different angle. It's quite unique.

The peekaboo trail is a horse trail full of horseshit and horse urine. It would be a great trail, and I always do it when I go to Bryce but I absolutely can’t stomach the horseshit and the horse urine. I guess it’s not a problem in the winter, but snow could be.

I did it in April - lots of snow and no horses. With microspikes on, hiking it is not a problem. It's also less crowded, quieter and has some beautiful views.

@@danielkwood that is true. Unfortunately, in April, Wall Street is pretty much always closed in my experience and also I have experienced enough snow falling to make hiking in the canyon impossible. Maybe late April would be ideal.
