High Road being #1 is no surprise...it was the bane of my existence back then :D

Whole Hog is one of my favorite levels in the first game. However, Slippery Climb and Sunset Vista were extremely frustrating for me to get though.
Night Fight, Cold Hard Crash, and Bee-Having were some of the hardest levels in the second game. I didn’t mind Spaced Out, but getting back to the death route section in Piston It Away after getting the other crates was extremely difficult and took me some time to figure out how to get back to the location.
As for Crash 3, Road Crash, Future Frenzy, and Area 51? were some of the hardest levels to overcome.
Despite that, all 3 Crash games are still enjoyable

Wild Hog is annoyingly hard even for me I died so many I skipped by using cheats codes on the ps1

It took me well over an hour to beat high road and that's after as a kid having played this game many times over. Slippery climb i thought could make the list too. Jaws of darkness and sunset Vista are tough too

Cold Hard Crash,and Area 51 are the hardest Crash Trilogy levels I have ever experienced in my early adulthood life. 😠

The High Road can’t beat Stormy Ascent. I can Platinum relic The High Road but only golded Stormy Ascent once.

Whole Hog is one of the easiest levels. I have no idea how people find it difficult.

definitely and in cold hard crash he isnt talking about full completion which is the only difficult part

Crash Bandicoot 1 levels arn' t that hard to complete but trying to obtain the gems is a different story, trying to get the red gem in slippery climb is the worst gem to get in my opinion, I've had more game overs trying to get that red gem than any other gem. Slippery climb 99 lives to game over to get that red gem, I've had over 10 game overs to obtain the red gem, I've only beaten og crash bandicoot 1 3× time, to this day i still find it hard to 100% complete. I've played nst version and nst is way easier 10× easier and i find nst red gem in slippery climb not that hard compare to the original.
