Good Morning decorating buddies on this beautiful Tuesday, May 7, 2024. I know I said Monday in the video but I meant to say Tuesday. It's nice this morning so I stepped out for a few and went to Burlington. I never made it across the street to Ross because I was satisfied with my purchases. I am trying to keep the budget right. You have to know when to stop and be satisfied without bringing the whole store home with you. I went in search of these ginger jars I saw in another influencer's video. I said canisters but I really meant Ginger Jars, so forgive me. LOL
I was so happy that today wasn't a bust because yesterday I didn't find one thing I wanted at another Burlington and Ross. They had things now but just not what I was specifically searching for. The Elephants I found today almost sent me through the roof. They are perfect in size, color and texture and the price was right. I felt like my mission was accomplish when I came away with three elephants, two in gold and one in black plus the two gold vases. It was time to return home. Lol
There is nothing like having a vision for the style you want to accomplish and watching it manifest right in front of your eyes, be it spontaneously or slowly but surely. It usually takes me a while because I am a thrifty shopper who is always looking for a drastic reduction, if its too high I will wait and just shop around. My videos are not as frequent as before because I have my home just about the way I want it so there is no need to shop just to be shopping. I stopped that a long time ago, Lol. I might go out a little extra in the fall at holiday time but not too much extra because I have enough holiday stuff also.
