Very cool! You were always so capable of making your own stuff and piecing things together like your custom-built TT-01 Active and TA-04 Evo-R chassis that you had back in the day.
I had same one... but my TT01 isn't good at drifting. but TT01 is reasnabl so every RC bignner get it. your modfy is very cool and I send respect for you. Thanks for good video.
Хороший вариант, решил сделать так же, единственное но, я взял от задней подвески верхний рычаг и поставил в переднию часть + прикрутил болт и к нему тягу, рулевой кулак взял от Sakura d5, спасибо за видео, очень помогло!
Very cool project! Please do a follow up on this car, and some driving too. I just started reviving my old, tired tt-01D from when i was a teenager, and i got an Ender 3 Pro last year, which is gonna be the best tool for making custom stuff for my car. Which other mods would you recommend for a stock tt-01 drifter? It has aluminum propeller shaft, oil alu shocks, carbon cross brace(or whatever its called) and a brushless 9t motor and ESC. I thought of locking the rear diff, and maybe the one-way front diff to get that handbrake feeling. Also which servo would you recommend? Id prefer a cheap one, as i just play whit it in parking lots and so :) You also got a sub from me, so please continue the DIY drift videoes!
Wonderful work! You gave me ideas too with these designs! Question, do you think I can get away with a cheap gyro or you suggest something on a budget..? Thankiou!
It's a 9x6x2mm bearing in which I'm also using a collar sleeve to fit an M3 screw. Mine in particular came from Active Hobby's old TT01 front midship conversion so these were just in my parts bin.
@@dandoesjunk7546 ohh got it thanks!! I got mine to work with a 8x5x2mm with a long m3 screw. Your vid actually inspired me to convert my only tt01 into rwd and it works so well! Will upgrade the electronics soon!
That was EPIC! I was wondering if you do custom job R/C jobs? I have a Tomy Drift package Nano and looking for someone to do a steering mod on it. Only seen one video on RUclips. But I don’t have the skills to do it.
I'm using POVWAY 5000mAh 7.4V 50C. It's a shorty lipo pack that I have among many other lipo batteries. I use shorty lipos when I feel I wanna shave some weight depending on how the car feels or the mood I'm in lol. Otherwise it's just preference.
When I CS'ed my TT01, I used Active Hobby's components: their front midship conversion and their CS gearing. But this was almost 10 years ago though so I'm not sure if they still sell them.
@@dandoesjunk7546 That would be sickkkk. Lot of people out here want to bring their TT-01s up to modern standards. If u still are planning to make it i will be a happy buyer...

great build for a TT01 conversion, the best so far that i've seen.
can you share the file for the 3D printed steerings?
Hola una pregunta. El diferencial trasero esta bloqueado ?????
Thats so sick, now i gotta find a TT01 and maybe love and care for it this time instead of driving it like it a basher
Looks greats seems to work. Really good solution.
Can you tell me what all you bought in the vid for only on steering I'm noob
Hey do a parts list on the hub you used and the ball joint and connectors

Hello I am also doing RWD drift on the TT01 It is amazing My TT01 is a carbon chassis It's light so it's fast

Nice 👍 I'll eventually upgrade mine to carbon.
Hey! Did you ever come up with a printable kit? If you could share some files that would be sick!
What sizre bearing did you use for the steering arms? I had the same arms 3d printed but i dont have any bearings and im planning to get a set

Hmmm it may actually be 9x5x3 after trying to search for them.

@@dandoesjunk7546 Thank you, trying to get my Tamiya TT01 up and running and just doing some research.
I don’t like the goolrc radio that much because it doesn’t have a failsafe otherwise great build
hey man can you add a list of parts to run a cs set up on tt01d I am trying to upgrade both my sons rc's

Nice!
Sell me that wide angle steering kit 😍😍😍
I'm working on actually making a full or close to full conversion kit consisting of control arms, knuckles, steering arms, etc.
@@dandoesjunk7546 have you seen the yeah racing wide steering kit? It's relatively cheap and gives wide steering.
@@dandoesjunk7546 any news on that? :D
