sure one of the best but can you please make detail review of the both the 8690 Adaptive and 8790 Adaptive showing its low beam and high beam on the road along with its lux
I replaced the factory LED headlight on my 2017 Indian Roadmaster with the JW Speaker Adaptive (1st Gen) light. It is awesome. However, Indian does have some really nice LED auxiliary lights. In fact, they can drown out the adaptive qualities. The high beam of the JW really throws the beam down the highway. 400 to 500 yards. Now, if you do not have auxiliary (fog) lights, or if they are halogen, like the 2016 Indians, then JW Adaptive really performs better. So far, I have installed 3 of the JW Adaptive headlights. I highly recommend them if you do a lot of night driving, or if you have twisty roads.
I have the 5 3/4 "Daymaker" that came stock on my CVO breakout and is made by J.W. speaker. Great light output. Really considering upgrading to this adaptive model.
I bought this module and kit for Yamaha Raider from HR, delivered quickly, installation is very simple. For owners of Yamaha xv1900, you need to install an additional load, because the hum of the generator appears, due to the difference in the power of a simple lamp and a 30-watt jw speaker led module
I have this on my Indian scout 60. I can only see about 1 car length ahead on low beam and maybe 2 1/2 -3 on high beam. Really disappointed in light quality. Is this normal? The adaptive side light seems to work well but not enough light brightness for normal driving. Any ideas? Thank you.
Unfortunately, like we stated in the description, those headlights will fit in most 7in round headlight buckets! Not sure what comes with those bikes, but if it is the 7in round, you should be able to fit these!
That is very odd, that should be happening automatically! I am wondering if you purchased those through us, and I am also wondering how the rest of the headlight is working? If you could let me know that information, I would be bale to help you get this issue resolved!
Normally we do that to compare to another product and we weren't comparing any other LED headlights. I guess we could have compared it against the stock headlight, but it would have been no comparison. Next time we'll do that. Good point.
Motorcycle headlight modulators, like the one from Signal Dynamics, vary headlight output for increased daytime visibility to other drivers. Note that they do not flash nor strobe the headlight (which would be illegal,) but vary it’s output to look a bit like it’s flashing or flickering. IIRC, they vary the actual voltage to the lamp, so I’m not sure if they would be LED compatible, at all. They may be incandescent only, but I could be mistaken.
Given the high beam pattern shown in this video, I’m not sure what the adaptive could really add to it. High beam already seems to have that area well covered.
The new Adaptive 2 offers adaptive technology now on the high beam in addition to the low beam. These are easy plug & play installation and all are available in black and chrome.
Most high quality sealed beam headlights will land in the $200+ range, you can check out all of our options here: www.headlightrevolution.com/headlights/assemblies/sealed-beam-headlights
If you want cheap chinese lights, buy cheap chinese lights. These are American made, very high quality, and an OEM and military supplier. These don't belong in your $50 DIY category.

Thanks for that info!
What about the LUX🤔

I truly appreciate your videos and site! Great work! Thank you!
Thanks for your support!
I would like to see a better representation of what the light does when turning.
Very nice
Hey Chris, looks like you were having an issue with left turns. Cause?
blkgixxerslvr its not mounted on a motircycle so the gyro does not know what to do ! He say it multiple time....
i would like to see a conparison with the non-adaptive version, how to tell them apart, and for 7" how it compares to other 7".
I don't think there's a new 7" round video in the pipeline right now. But here's some more info on them:

Are these compatible with any other bikes? small cc bikes.
The problem is it’s not available for late model HD Road Glides.
Unfortunately, like we stated in the description, those headlights will fit in most 7in round headlight buckets! Not sure what comes with those bikes, but if it is the 7in round, you should be able to fit these!
Still looking for the _"Speaker"_ part of it, wanna hear what it sounds like dang-it....
It's time for JW to step up their game!
I just installed my light. I do not get the light show when I turn on my bike. Suggestions?

when you turned it on high beam it literally looks like a sunrise (5:51)
And the Lux was?
good video 👍 I have a cuestion for you, how can I know if that light can put into my Suzuki Thunder 125
If you have a 6" round headlight, these will fit right in.
Why were the lux not measured? You guys always measure the lux.
Normally we do that to compare to another product and we weren't comparing any other LED headlights. I guess we could have compared it against the stock headlight, but it would have been no comparison. Next time we'll do that. Good point.
Really missed the outside test!
I didn't quite catch the name of the manufacturer.
Is this thing gona work ön my Yamaha tzr 50?
Im building some type of naked bike and i think its looks so good.
I know, you posted a year ago, but yes. All you need is a bike with a 12V electrical system and you're good to go.
What is the lux, I'm curious to find out the lux.
When he says "effective lumen" he's reffering to LUX in this case. so 1,050 low beam and 1600 high beam
are these lights compatible with headlight flashers and if so does it void the warranty?
What do you mean by headlight flashers?
The strobe/flash kits for visibility.
Motorcycle headlight modulators, like the one from Signal Dynamics, vary headlight output for increased daytime visibility to other drivers. Note that they do not flash nor strobe the headlight (which would be illegal,) but vary it’s output to look a bit like it’s flashing or flickering.

Добрый день, подскажите пожалуйста, на мотоцикл Yamaha XVS 1300Stryker эта фара подайдет?
I heard that once you switch it to high beam the adaptive system do not work as it to some government regulation . Is it true?
Given the high beam pattern shown in this video, I’m not sure what the adaptive could really add to it. High beam already seems to have that area well covered.
The new Adaptive 2 offers adaptive technology now on the high beam in addition to the low beam. These are easy plug & play installation and all are available in black and chrome.
What is the LUX rating for high and low beam?
can you install this w/ the stock headlamp casing of xsr900?
Not in the stock headlamps, no.

weak low beam, feels like 4000 lumens, thanks to reviews, bought it and was disappointed
I hate the shadow like effect in this light.
It works but what a rip of for the price. DIY for $50
