I think Toriyama would absolutely love the goofiness of some of these clips. He'd be proud to have impact on new animators to make new smiles and laughs.
Same here! It's such a quick clip but it immediately made me check the credits and sure enough. Really cool that he contributed to this. Ross's shot came out awesome too!
Never thought I'd see Egoraptor return to do an animation; seeing his name in the credits was definitely something I did not expect. Props to all the artists who participated!
It took me a while to really get into dragon ball, but with some of the games, that animated fan project from a while back, and the abridges series, it started to grow on me. We’ll never have another Toriyama. Rest In Peace, my good man.
Wow, what a huge nostalgia kick that gave me! All of the animators did a great job here. Also, props to Ashley Nichols for subverting expectations with Gohan's Oozaru transformation. That moment was really cute. ^^

This is absolutely beautiful! Watching Ross animate Krillin was so fun and had me hyped to see this. Everyone did amazing I'm so proud of every animator involved!
As a 90s kid I had a massive smile on my face from beginning to end. Seriously guys, life sucks and yet I was just in 4th grade again, watching this on Toonami after school. The Ocean dub voices, that fucking song, you all captured each moment in a unique and fun way. Goku's goofy run at the start made me laugh and I had to try and not pause the vid every few seconds so I could watch the whole thing. From the goofy animations to the people who went ridiculously hard, kudos and congrats on making something so full of love in honor of a man who gave generations one of the greatest anything's to ever exist, Dragonball.
0:54 WHADDYA MEAN THE TRUNKS SHOT IS PARKER SIMMMONS I MEAN IT TOTALLY IS, BUT YOU GOT FUCKIN' *MAO MAO* ON THIS?! HE DID SO GOOD. So did everyone else, recognizing everyone's styles in this tribute was an absolute treat, and seeing Arin animate again, even if it was just for a shot is always fantastic. BUT MAO MAO-
0:24 looks like it could be the same animators that did Legend - A Dragonball Tale. 0:30 looks absolutely amazing! It looks like there's serious power behind the blast!
Absolute perfection. Nice to see this OP getting some love again and the clips from all the DBZ movies reanimated look awesome! Congrats to everyone who worked on this. Fine work right here. I feel like a kid again.
I've watched this countless times, and still can't get enough. Everybody here did such an incredible job with these scenes. I love how some are goofy, others play it straight, but all of them are uniquely amazing. Thanks so much to the animators for putting in so much work! I'm sure Toriyiama (RIP) would've loved this.
Going to bed, seeing this and unlocking core memories from watching dbz on the tv as a kid. Yeh not getting to sleep soon. Amazing work by everyone with there different styles.
This has to be one of my favorite things on the internet, genuinely hilarious and badass at the same time with a collaborative team all showing their unique creative strengths with each segment leaving for constant rewatch ability purely for admiration! I just found this channel because of, "Later Alligator", and because of the QR code that Tall Jared allows you to scan. First and foremost, thank you for making such a great game! And secondly, this looks amazing!! Thank you for all of your hard work over the years! ✨️💕
Shoutout to all the artists, 'cause holy crap. Some are fun/stylistic choices that really showcase how fun and carefree DBZ was, but some of these were so good I could watch an entire "remaster" of the series in that style. And they were all so FLUID. Incredible job, everyone!
This is awesome, everyone did so amazing!
I screamed when I saw your animation, it flows so perfectly! You all did such an amazing job it literally brought a few happy tears to my eyes
I was in the stream while you were animating this!!! Amazing work with Krillin!!!
That Krillin was flawless Ross! Well done!
stop lying.

Krillin clip looked so authentic I thought it was just from the original intro
Ross loves DBZ so much
@@yo_its_splinter I think he was referring to David Lu at 0:22 with krillin running on the wall. Both are rather faithful to original though.

Rest in peace Toriyama sensei. 🙏
He was the man for sure
Smallbu did the Master Roshi scene so good and captured how badass he is as an old man.
U gotta show respect to this man especially when he shaped roshi like kingpin just to show how badass the old geezer can be

Same with 0:43, this entire project is a marvel of animation, major props to everyone who worked on it!
The master roshi one SLAPPED. Also i can do a perfect impression of him :D
The details too
I can't believe that egoraptor's animation style is still so iconic my brain immediately recognized it after seeing 0.2 seconds of it
I didn't know he was still doing animation because Arin Hanson is mostly a voice actor these days.

That was my favourite. So much life in that short clip.
There's something almost Dragon's Lair-ish about it--like if it had continued I would have needed to push the joystick right or see a death screen
I thought 0:45 looked familiar it's Paul Robertson from "Jimmy and baby" fame. Also I guess they worked on some AS shorts...
The clip with Roshi and the one after is my favorite. That animation is clean.
