Toei Animation was sued for trying to use Bruce Falconer's themes in their Japanes production...since then they only used original themes created by the studio

Bruce faulconner music rules. The English dubbed DBZ i grew up with ftw.
Technically, this theme wasn't by Bruce Faulconer. At the time "Rock the Dragon" was made for DBZ, the show was distributed by Saban, and the music producer Saban had in house was Shuki Levy, who was responsible for a TON of iconic 90's cartoon themes such as the Power Rangers theme and wrote "Rock the Dragon".
Bruce Faulconer came to DBZ later when FUNimation decided to distribute the show themselves and moved away from Saban Entertainment.
