Lovely comment I appreciate it xxx my dad is watching me sew the quilt I am getting on with it quite well but he doesn’t understand and keeps asking me how much more I’ve got to do. We went to hobbycraft yesterday and he was looking at sewing machines, this morning he has tried to press the money on me for a machine 😅😅 bless him I’ve accepted it and thanked him because he was getting so worked up and then I’ve secretly given the money back to my mom. He doesn’t understand the concept of hand sewing lol 😝 x
@@nettmotherbear That’s such a sweet story. I went through similar years with my dad, who passed almost two years ago . He was always so supportive of my love of sewing. May mom had been gone 20 years. I’m in the eye of the hurricane right now with trees down, pulled the power pole right off the house. It’s beginning to get light now, so feels safer.

Hi Annette, Debbie here 👋hope you enjoy your holiday, I am on holiday too..was going to put some sewing in but didn’t, now wish I had as too hot outside and finished my book. I will be meeting my Husband later when it is cooler😊 My Mum has vascular dementia…it is very difficult. We retired early to travel but Covid happened and now Mum so have to put the big plans on hold. Glad you are keeping up with your hobbies and you enjoy your new group when you get home x x
