4:13 These lifts are actually pretty efficient. Some of them simply have predoors turned off so they open their doors after the motor completely brakes itself. Others sometimes opens the doors before the motor brakes.
Thanks for the information. I've been wondering for years why Nippon OTIS elevators use chimes that sound very identical to Mitsubishi, and now I've finally got the answer.
At least every elevator brand in history has had Mitsubishi-sounding chimes, either inherited from modernisation or is actually built-in by the manufacturer Surprised to know Otis did it as well
Many elevators make two sounds going down and one sounds going up. This is in order to be in compliance with USA's ADA (probably bringing the same programming to Europe).
Nope, that elevator is not modernized by Mitsubishi. It's actually an OTIS that was made in Japan. I'm still not sure why OTIS was using Mitsubishi chimes during that time.
Sorry no, those are indeed original unmodernized OTIS that, for some unknown reason uses Mitsubishi chimes as those type of OTIS elevators were manufactured in Japan.
Maksud anda lift yang nongol paling pertama itu? Bila iya, itu bukan mod dari Mitsubishi. Itu benar-benar original OTIS tua dari tahun 1976, dan sejak 2018 liftnya diganti jadi OTIS baru.
Because It’s an Japanese Otis. In the 1990s, Japan made Mitsubishi chimes to their Otis and Doesn't necessarily have to be Mitsubishi brands. There are other models and brands that use a similar chime too.
2:17 IS MY FAVORITE
Greetings from South Africa. I think the bell chimes sound the best.

Otis Copied Mitsubishi
Not really. Its the common chime of elevator. Because it is easy to compose and easy to hear while pleasant to the ear too.
At least in Japan, it was Matsushita Electric (Panasonic) that actually manufactured the chime parts, including Mitsubishi.
Any source that states Matsushita Electric was the one who made the chime parts?
@@idl3k_elev The melody IC is a Panasonic product called MN6221DD, and each manufacturer produces parts to match it.
