I was at George Lake in August...there was not much water in the lake...I have seen it overflowing its bank in years past...bit of a grind in places that one...woods
Back in Montana and in Pine Creek where it is very beautiful especially right now in October and today is my 60th birthday have great week and take care thank you Henry.⛰️🇺🇲⛰️
I can’t help having the overwhelming feeling that I need to breakout the chainsaw and do some trail maintenance and move those logs. Love the story/memory of Slide Rock!!!😊
Nice. It's gotten so popular over the years I've been here. Probably because it's so easy, short, and beautiful. I haven't been up Black Mountain yet. Thanks for watching. -H
Another beautiful walk at Pine Creek, Henry! Though I enjoy all the walks from your world travels, I've always called the western US home and your walks here are my favorites. And thanks for sharing your "Slide Rock" story - you and your family have enjoyed the Pine Creek trail for many years! 🙂
Nice walk Henry! Just moved to Calhoun, GA a few weeks ago and starting to get my walking to your videos back in the routine. Looking forward to your walks in Chattanooga, not too far from me.

I was thinking the same thing. Not sure the rules for chainsaws in the Wilderness area but a bow saw would make quick work of what I ran across. -H
I know the Pine Creek drainage well Henry...Black Mountain is a favorite hike of mine...atvb...woods

Thanks Pam. Yes, the west has so much to offer. It's been a joy to raise our kids out here. All the best to you. -H
