I have used this get up in tournament (purple belt) this works once the attacker sits back from your guard and you "gidddup" on top you get 2 points if you establish a passing position or a dominant position from the top. This technique is 100 competition tested and proven thank you bjj weekly for sharing
I have a sensitive achilles from years of running so I will feel the pain no matter how my opponent sits back to finish the foot-lock--especially if they have really bony wrists.
@josh1212121 I think what he meant was that Rener would re-establish the footlock if he goes to mount instead of completely escaping it. He learned not to go to mount because of his experience with Rener. See his previous video. He mentions it.
