I’m 59 years old next month. It’s like the medical profession ignores any female that wants a healthy body and only caters to females in their breeding years. I’m accused of eating 24/7 by my internal med doctor and that is why I have the extra weight. It took me 2 years in my late 40s of not starving myself to lose 80 lbs. I’d have to starve myself to keep myself at 128 lbs. I’m on my feet lifting weights 40 hours a week so it’s not like I don’t move my body. Gaslighting by the medical field is real.

@stephaniepersin4222, please find a female gynecologist that is educated in peri menopause/menopause. They are rare, believe me, but they do exist. You’re not going to get the care you need if you don’t find a doctor that specializes in menopausal care.

A great book saved me over 20 years ago. “What Your Dr Never Told You About Menopause” and another .. same title but Pre-Menopause. All about Estrogen dominance and Progesterone cream. Written by a Dr. A MUST read for all women.
44 years old, perimenopausal & taking 200mg oral progesterone every day to help with sleep. I was afraid of gaining weight, but it did the complete opposite. Stubborn weight just dropped off. I stopped the progesterone for a couple weeks because it was making me moody, but wanted the sleep benefits and restarted it. Same thing happened. Never been this low of a weight in years. Dropped 4 lbs in a week and now find myself underweight. Weird to me that all these women are gaining weight. I’m also low carb and no dairy last 4 months. But as soon as I threw progesterone into the mix, stable weight dropped like a rock. So strange how it affects people differently.
We are all different, imagine my surprise when (not related to progesterone) I had a horrendous hormonal acne , androgen sensitive and they gave me a pill that served to lower the testosterone and to chemically CASTRATE men. Well it was super efficient on my acne but instead of lowering my libido It did the exact opposite. Embarrassed, I went to the doctor immediately, and she said I had a rare paradox effect as every human is different! I lose weight on the contraceptive pill and never had any issue of libido or mood swings etc.
I tried progesterone cream for the first time last night - 20mg. It was too much! While I did sleep through the night for the first time in months, now today I’m so groggy I can’t even work. I guess I’ll cut down to 10mg next time. I don’t understand people who say topical doesn’t work. Omg it worked TOO much for me 😂
That's pretty crazy, how it affects people differently. I love progesterone cream but the effect is so subtle... I have used up to 300mg and it barely does anything noticeable. It did cure my heavy painful periods though.
I lost my female hormones after I had my first child at 34 Estrogen crash Progesterone crash Im now 56 and weigh 100 lbs at 5'8" I look like a prepubescent boy I have taken hormone replacement for a Long time but not religiously. I feel like I need them alot now so I am using creams vaginally and topically on my skin Hormones are such a delicate dance and if they are off we suffer greatly. Losing estrogen could cause your pelvic floor to fall, Do not let that happen. Losing estrogen makes you age faster too I wish I didnt look 66 at 56yo I warn my daughter about all of this stuff I wish my mom knew enough to warn me. She took synthetic hormones for way too long per her doctor and got breast cancer. So having too much isnt good either. It causes female cancers of ovaries and breast tissue. Good luck to everyone I hope you find relief
I took the contraceptive pill in college and it wreaked havoc on my body - I'm turning 33 next month and am about to start my bioidentical hormone therapy journey. I want babies ya'll. Keep me in prayer. Love u guys we got this. Thanks doc for this info!
This is great information. I just started progesterone cream bio identical 1 week ago and already can feel the change. Feel more calm, less hungry, my skin starts to look better.
Diagnosed with Endometriosis 10 years ago and I can't believe no doctor has ever even attempted to understand how hormones affect me - short of just prescribing me birth control, with more estrogen. Thank you so much for providing information that is sorely needed in the endometriosis community.
The min between hormones and minerals is even more rare hardly anyone knows that info I’m glad I got that training I used to. have issues anymore like I used to. Different mineral shell create different hormones and minerals help the systems and liver for transporting hormones. Minerals have to be in ratios with each other like hormones and these ratios indicate the level of functioning of systems like digestion or thyroid or liver etc ect
me too, my doctors solution was (and is): if the pain gets to much, lets operate and get your uterus out. Otherwise just take pain medication. I found out myself that vitamin K2 is very helpful with endometriosis during menstruation pain. When I told my doc. her answer was: I know....but why didnt you tell me to take K2? She just laughed. They only thing they want is to put you on medication or operate you to earn money. She wanted to put me back on birth control pills. I refused. I do not trust any doc. anymore. I am on a self experiment journey with vitamins and natural aids....took me 10 years to find the right way :(
I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer last May and was given medroxyprogesterone acetate 200mg tablet, but I studied it a lot and started to change my diet.. they said i might gain weigt so I stopped all sugar including fruits- I stopped carbohydrates or once a week I allow myself with 100grams of only rice and 2 bowls of salad with handful of nuts and enough proteins in meat form and not from plants.. hiit exercise for 10mins and 20k steps daily.. from 84kgs last may now I'm 63kgs.. and now preppin' for my wedding so I can at least try if I can conceive because I optioned out hysterectomy.. I am trying to do everything with high motivation and discipline.. I check my temperature daily and weigh daily.. I take vitamin C .. I don't feel any pain no more heavy periods and I'm not even hungry when I do alternate intermittent fasting :) the cancer code book of jason fung helped me a lot ❤ and this video!

I’ve gained almost 15lbs in 2 months & I do keto & I’m a bodybuilder working out 6days a wk!!! Bloated beyond belief so you’ve helped tremendously so thank you!
WOW! I was just prescribed a pill form last night. I haven't even picked it up from the pharmacy yet but decided to start researching because I HATE the thought of taking medicine. I'm soooo glad I saw this video because now I'm equipped enough to ask my Dr questions about bioavailability and the best time to take these pills. These things really do make sense and can make a TOTAL difference.
Its like going to a dermatologist. They hand you a prescription and say put it on at night, when you're technically suppose to wait 10 minutes after washing your face, etc.. Doctors are paid by pharmaceutical companies eveytime they script, and could care less about giving proper proticol due to the fact they're not educated or can't bother to repeat the instructions by the time they get to the 100th patient. Its ashame.

Just fyi for anyone with AI or chronic inflammation, cortisol is made from progesterone, so it's possible progesterone can get low or depleted. I added progesterone for sleep and my inflammation was improved. BTW I am postmenopausal and I have RA. I'm on HRT both estrogen and progesterone. But increased Prog for sleep and was surprised it helped my RA.
I am fully Menopausal, have mild PCOS, Insulin Resistance, High Stress/Cortisol, and my Naturopath tried topical Prog on me for YEARS, but tests revealed it wasn’t raising my levels for some reason(s). She said some patients just aren’t Good Absorbers. We tried a pellet, but I couldn’t control the dosage (plus it was a constant flow from the pellet which can cause wt gain). FINALLY she put me on BioID oral Prog (titrated the dosage over several months - tested serum levels regularly). She CLAIMED upon my query that the BioID oral stuff doesn’t affect the liver at all. But I still use Milk Thistle just in case. I have Insomnia, so the oral stuff helps put me to sleep (esp. if taken w food). All seems to be helping, but I might try taking a small break a few days a month. Thanks for the detailed info!
Thank you!!!! So informative. I’m going through menopause and gained 10 lbs hot flashes, dry skin and hair ....I was taking black cohosh but was told this wasn’t the best scenario and was told to try progesterone cream. So I’ve been doing my homework and stumbled upon this. I’m excited to read your blog.
@@dilee2086 bioidentical hormone replacement is only effective for treating hotflashes. It does not prevent osteoporosis the way the Estradiol Estrogen does at 1 mg daily orally or .05 mg daily transdermal. “Bioidentical” hormone replacement is the EXACT same molecules as regular HRT. It is in a different mixture of 80% estriol a very ineffective estrogen and 20% estradiol the effective hormone. Estriol is what we have a lot of when pregnant. Do you want that?
I’ve been taking 100 mg of Progesterone (compounded) for one month now and i see no change in my weight, if anything I’ve lost a few but I’m not trying to lose. My Dr was trying to help with cramping, PMS, depression, low libido, etc. I have noticed a change in my energy levels and feeling more positive about my life like everything is going to be alright. I’m also on 4.5 mg of LDN high I think is also helping, my sleep has gotten better even though I still wake up around 2-3 am. I fall back to sleep faster after that. I feel like these meds along with my Armour is going to give me my life back, things are going so well after years of side effects with Hashis. Thank you for sharing your knowledge here, you are definitely a Godsend!
I have low progesterone too and high E just starting on 100 mg bio progesterone. What I want to know is did your energy improve because right now I am so tired I can’t get out of bed much :(
I got my hormones tested and have low progesterone, not severely but it’s low so I started taking vitex and that helped me lose weight but I feel like it also made me a little more emotional.
You may wish to try using Progesterone cream. Better absorption. I would recommend to you to watch Dr John R. Lee's video here about Progesterone. He's internationally revered expert about HRT. His recommendation is to use Natura Progesterone cream instead of pills.
I gained so much weight very bloated on the P pill when i started HRT and then I tried the combo patch. Still had issues with staining and weight gain. So i opted to go with a progesterone only IUD. The weight is coming off and I don't have progesterone running throughout my body. I only need it in my uterus to protect it from uterine cancer while on HRT. This was a great choice. Its been a couple of months now . Staining is gone and weight is almost back to normal.
I did just the opposite and never had problems with a combination patch (climara pro consisting of estradiol o.45 progesterone 0.125) however my estradiol level was still low so I tried increasing the patch to 0.6 but it only comes in this dose without progesterone. I was given progesterone 200 orally and the nighttime started. Fellow bloated , gaining weight like crazy while doing the same supper healthy diet and exercise as I always did or even more. It does help sleep for sure but it made me groggy and very moody. I started researching progesterone and it is a very common problem. Many women can’t tolerate oral progesterone! I stopped taking it and all symptoms went away after 3 days but I am stuck with 5 pounds weight gain which came out of nowhere. I have been in menopause for 5 years and didn’t have weight gain because I really focused on even better diet than ever. Different story with oral progesterone… It messed me up. I will try vaginal cream next since it is processed differently and stays mostly in the area to protect the uterus.
@@marzenarongione4968 A new Doc that i'm seeing said I should try the progesterone cream. It doesn't come with all the negative side effects that the oral form does.
I got my first period at 16 and immediately took the contraceptive pill. I put on 10kg within two months, and I stayed on that higher weight until now. I had a total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries and I'm now only taking estrogen and testoren gels. I lost that 10kg within 4 months post surgery without trying to lose weight. My doctors were worried and confused about my weight loss, but I'm thinking it must have been the progesterone. My body couldn't deal well with progesterone in general, I have PMDD, and that's why I had the surgery.
Low progesterone may cause abnormal uterine bleeding in women who aren't pregnant. ... Your body will produce this increase in progesterone, which causes some of the symptoms of pregnancy, including breast tenderness and nausea. If your progesterone levels are too low, your uterus may not be able to carry the baby to term. Natural remedies to boost low progesterone levels Is Agbara Herbal Natural Cleanser because it will re-immuned your Body and cure every other (PID) and make your Uterus healthy to carry pregnancy. However, progesterone can cause many side effects including stomach upset, changes in appetite, weight gain, fluid retention and swelling (edema), fatigue, acne, drowsiness or insomnia, allergic skin rashes, hives, fever, headache, depression, breast discomfort or enlargement, premenstrual syndrome (PMS)-like symptoms
Hi, I am a FNP studying to get my menopause certification to care for women. You are the first to say progesterone is beneficial through the skin. I was under the belief it does not offer the protection unless given oral micronized progesterone or SL. I would have to know it actually provides the many benefits it’s supposed to and uterine protection transdermal. Do you have research to back this method up? I would really appreciate it!
I am 37 and peri with very low progesterone and high E. My cortisol is low in the day high at night and my adrenals are a mess. I am stuck in bed everyday from being so tired. I just started oral bio identical progesterone a few days ago. What I want to know is will I get my energy back and lose weight? I can’t function. My testosterone is also low but for now was told start with progesterone to balance that first. Pointers would be appreciated.

Any advice on what women who have has hysterectomies and oophorectomies should do? I am on testosterone and estrogen and can not lose weight no matter what I do. I’m so depressed about it. Apparently, progesterone is not needed for women in my situation but I feel it might be the missing link.
This is great info! Thank God I found an amazing doctor in the Tampa bay area who doesnt just prescibe a pill to fix hormones, he orders a very comprehensive panel of hormones to get the BIG PICTURE! To have your hormones balanced it takes a big picture approach and prescribed birth control pills or just a progesterone pill without taking other hormones into consideration is not the answer!
I’m in menopause. I was prescribed a daily 200mg progesterone pill and gained 20lbs. Now what do I do? When I get off for even a few days my mood swings, depression sets in and dryness come back. Do I take that break anyway? Do I switch back to a cream? I know there are issues with my liver too so I’m sure the pill is not good for me. 😑 Thanks for your info. This is so hard to figure out. I'm on bio identical hormone pellets, no lady parts left. I took progesterone before when I had my uterus. Just had a full panel done and my thyroid numbers are good, I'm on synthroid. Can't lose weight now. So sent this to my doctor to see what she says. Mimic cycle never would have thought that.
I stayed sick & fat on Synthroid. It literally almost killed me. Took 4 years for me to find a regular provider to prescribe natural desiccated thyroid hormone medication. I started off with Nature Throid which was fantastic. Almost instantly noticed positive change in all symptoms & even effortlessly lost weight. RLC Labs stopped manufacturing it so I'm now on NP Thyroid. I'd ask for natural desiccated thyroid hormone medication. Research it. So much better for most people who have thyroid conditions.
Please can you give me some advice? I’m 48 and perimelnopausesal. I started using oestrogen gel, one pump on my upper arms. My doctor has also prescribed 2x 100mg of progesterone to take 12- 14days at bedtime after my period. Does this sound ok? Many thanks.
Wow thank you so much! I’ve been struggling with weight management related to birth control changes. This really helps me understand what may be going on in my body and can certainly help me make more informed decisions moving forward. Thank you!!
Was hoping for some advice! I was prescribed a progesterone only birth control pill, but after your video, looked it up and surely - its synthetic... Called my pharmacy, and after some research they told me that all brand names that are available, are actually of a synthetic nature (ugh)... I cannot have a progesterone+estrogen pill due to my headaches so for now progesterone only pill is my way. Question: Could you please recommend a bc brand that provides organic progesterone? My pharmacist suggested a progesterone shot that is done once every 3 months, but I heard horror stories about that one too... Other invasive bc options like nuvaring or IUD makes me cringe and so I'm completely lost now haha... Thank you!
Prometrium is a bio-identical version of progesterone and available via prescription. It is the only bio-identical progesterone pill available. You can learn more here: www.restartmed.com/progesterone-pills/

Very helpful Thanks Dr. I'm confused now which one I should order can you help me recomending a good fordable brand? I'm on diet since 7 months I just dropped one dress size. I have insulin resistance.
What a great presentation! I do have a question… Would you consider progesterone taking transvaginal the the same as transdermal? My dr. refuses to give it to me transdermally and stated that the amount of absorbed is minimal
Just started transdermal last night and it knocked me out. Trust me it works. I’m starting to think these docs are saying transdermal doesn’t work because they want you to depend on them for prescription oral progesterone. I got my transdermal cream on Amazon.
Thanks for this info. I’m on the Evorel Conti patch, but still gaining weight. How come? I cut in half and I lose a little all over weight, when I stop the patch I lose muscle tone, so clothes feel baggy but I’m the same weight. Hi, I've had a hysterectomy. What type of topical cream do you recommend, and how often should I use it and where should I apply. I'm 55 and haven't had a menstrual in a good 10 yrs.
Im 57 look great, but don't feel great .both my estrogen and progesterone are low..so when I apply the natural progesterone cream after few days I get super sore joints ..Its so painful..any suggestions?
I’m hoping for some advice. I did saliva hormone testing and my estrogen was right around the normal range, just under it, and my progesterone was just bottomed out. Barely there. My cortisol levels were perfect and my dheas was pretty low. My symptoms are severe swelling in my body, everywhere. It’s constant but is worse around period. I have upper lip hair growth, enlarged pores, enlarged breasts outside of pms and muscle weakness. The symptoms started after I gave birth 4 years ago, it was not too bad at first but has progressively gotten very bad. I even get very depressed and eating disorders around my cycle. I’m not sure if the severity of these symptoms is normal in low progesterone? I’ve been on very strict and clean “diets”(I don’t like that word, I just focus on nutrients and whole foods)and exercise regularly but it has not helped these last few years. I look healthy otherwise and no one would know I was suffering as hard as I am. My body is visibly smaller and my measurements are smaller yet my weight is almost 20 pounds heavier from all the water retention. Some people don’t believe my weight because I’m pretty small and the water retention isn’t visible to others who haven’t known me as long as my husband and family. I do feel at times I don’t want to live because I struggle so much with this and the doctors haven’t been able to tell me what is wrong. I want to wash my hair without having to stop several times, I want to wear shorts without feeling awful, I want my hair to stop falling out, my breasts to stop hurting and feeling so enlarged, I could go on and on. I’ve been miserable a very long time. I’m only 28 and feel much older.
There could be other factors at play. It's almost never just one thing causing your problems. Have you ever been tested for mold exposure? Viral or parasitic infections could also be an underlying issue. I hope you get the help you need!
Very Very Very impressed with your knowledge! And your way of thinking. I am a medical provider myself and former breast cancer researcher - but many medical providers lack the understanding of addressing the problem from the biological basics and want to mask symptoms with meds. I am even impressed you address possible parasites and viruses into play. Happy that I stumbled upon this video for personal reasons! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I have read and have been told by multiple menopause specialists that progesterone creams are ineffective since the progesterone molecules are large and have a difficult time crossing through the skin. Can you speak to that please?
My doctor told me I didn't need progesterone because I had a complete hysterectomy when I was 30 I'm now 53 and just started the estradiol patch I also gained 12 lb since starting the patch so now I'm going to call my doctor and tell him I want progesterone prescribed to me as well as the estradiol patch
Great videos. Some people do not absorb the cream well transdermally and so it doesn't alleviate estrogen dominance/low progesterone. As you mention, oral micronized progesterone (bioidentical, compounded) is better for insomnia and apnea issues. According to my doc, this may be because the cream has a larger molecular structure. I have heard that it takes a few cycles for progesterone to work and alleviate symptoms. Is this your experience? This is all so tricky. Depending on fluctuations, it could cause weight gain one month and weight loss another!
LJ Fogel , I use a natural bio identical progesterone cream. You need to rotate where on your body you apply the cream weekly or it doesn't work. Also, you need to give your system a rest for a day or two from applying the cram. Oh , I forgot to tell you apply the cream on the non fatty areas of the body. Such as the wrists, inner elbows , face, behind the knees and soles of your feet. Anywhere you can see your veins. Will not work on the stomach, buttocks, legs etc. Hope you find that helpful. I get mine from bhnformulas.com.

Don't waste precious time. You should also if able to go on estrodial. There is so much new studies that it actually saves your heart brain and bones. Progesterone can't do those things alone. The longer we wait to start the less long term benefits you get. Check out Menopause Taylor here on youtube. She is a specialist on the subject. A great resource and has many informative videos on this subject. Good luck with your journey.

The information presented here is conflicting with other obgyn sources: The weight gain, PMS symptoms and breast tenderness are associated with raise in progesterone levels, not with excess estrogen, as presented here.
I’m 55, on estrogen patch to be taken with 50 mg progesterone, I chose transdermal oil. The problem is my body still cycles - weekly! Sometimes a drop of blood, often not, but the period-like drop is momentous. So, right now I’m 2 days a week off, 3rd day start increasing until a BOG cry announces a ‘period’. The issue is Ann I’m taking enough? No one talks about the ideal ratio in this case, and my hormones still go up and down. Shall I follow the ratio for bleeding women or HRT ? I surely could lose a few pounds, but also when I take too much it gives me headache, so I have space it out throughout the day 🤔
Would taking 100 mg generic prometrium be too much 14 days out of the month? Also I've been on spirinolactone for 10+ years for my skin and love it.
I hope this happens to me . I am estrogen dominant and my period has stopped.
What if progesterone is high and estrogen is high? I started bhrt (both) but wondering if I only really need estrogen

I'm soooo glad I saw this video because now I'm equipped enough to ask my Dr questions about bioavailability and the best time to take these pills. These things really do make sense and can make a TOTAL difference.
Cindy Furr + What do you mean by cycling?

This is one of the best videos on this topic I've seen, great job!

How many days do you take vitex per month? Do you take vitex from the 14th day to the 28th day, or do you take vitex all month?
Is the vitex also known as chaste berry?
I gained 30 pounds in 2 months on chaste berry.
My clients will like this for sure....been preaching this for years. thank you!
No problem, hope it helps with your clients.
Different story with oral progesterone…
It messed me up. I will try vaginal cream next since it is processed differently and stays mostly in the area to protect the uterus.
@@marzenarongione4968 A new Doc that i'm seeing said I should try the progesterone cream. It doesn't come with all the negative side effects that the oral form does.

@@carlamarie110 : Just saw tour comment! So glad there are women that know all this bc so many are misinformed. I get my cream from Barbara too! Love her! ❤
Why does un treated hypothyroidism cause lower progesterone ?
Oh wow.. this is amazing news.. I’ll definitely get into the creams.. so you reckon taking for 28 days and then a couple of days off.. I have been taking the prometruim orally and fantastic for sleep but that’s about it. What are the creams you recommend please and it’s perfect I don’t need a prescription.. is 40mg enough for a menopausal woman of 60. 😊
Thank you for this informative video. I purchased progesterone ups grade cream. I am menopausal, but terrified to use it. However, I feel like I just need it, in order to beat the chronic fatigue I have been experiencing for a couple of years. My periods stopped at age 50 with no problems and I am now 56. I am not using the full 20mg yet. I am working up slowly.
Start Estradiol to protect your health, the progesterone alone will just cause trouble !
Thank you so much. I was 53 partials hysterectomy and was jus tput on pregnenolone, test, and estrogen but not progesterone ? They dont thinke need it
Should I still take the progesterone days 14-28 if my cycle is becoming more irregular?
This is so helpful thank you. Does not seem to be one stop shopping for this subject so thank you, your information matches my instincts.
I tried in my early 40's....now age 47 bioidentical progesterone cream. Gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm hypothyroid (no thyroid). I'll be 48 & experiencing the common perimenopausal symptoms & would like to try. I'm currently searching for a very knowledgeable local gynecologist or practitioner who knows & understands hormones on all levels. I do have low testosterone also.
It wasn’t 10lbs of fat tho.
Post menopausal woman are different also
Thank you for your informative video! (Just a tip: You could make your video a lot more on point if you wrote a script and kept to the script. You seem to ramble and back track a bit?)
I’m confused too! I just spoke with my wonderful surgeon and she said progesterone is what will make me moody. I’m taking oral estradiol/ had a hysterectomy. Bought progesterone cream based on some Utube advice but now I don’t know what to do!
Progesterone cured my depression...which was caused by estrogen dominance. So it really depends on your current balance
Progesterone is great for moodiness
What about the compounded micronized progesterone pill? Or one that’s made of yams
Dr. Childs, I read the blog post to this as well. You indicate balance among hormones. What is the proper ratio between estrogen and progesterone for post menopausal women (since specific optimal serum values aren't defined)?
It's different for each woman but a 10:1 ratio is a good starting place.
What is a good cream?
Do you recommend an OTC cream? My prescription is 100mg and I’m a 104 lb woman in my forties. I’ve gained 5-6 pounds in a few weeks I’m frustrated
Dr. Childs stated synthetic progesterone can cause weight gain and the studies would be posted. I don’t see them. Plz share them here.
How does it effect things like perimenopausal hairloss, and alopecia.. wondering if it's a good idea for me to try it?
Is carnivore beneficial when you are in early perimenopause with autoimmune stuff going on..
Thank-you soo much. Very helpful. I have started taking bioidentical progesterone under a doctor guidence but was still a little hesitant. You addressed my concerns:)
What’s the name of the pill?
Question Dr. I've gained weigh since starting oral progesterone 50 mg daily, my doctor says he wants to get my level to a optimal number however I'm unhappy with the weight gain, what do you suggest?
take much more progesterone and be thankful to your doc.. You have agood one. Have you been able to elevate your P.level within these 2 years? How much ??µg/l did it increase?
If I’m menopausaul, should I take estrogen the last two weeks of the month or all month long?
I can't get the cream in the country I live..so I take it by mouth..and it's the synthetic one..that's all I can get hold of
I'm just a big girl. My whole life I been somewhat over weight. My body wont lose it all 😢
The information presented here is conflicting with other obgyn sources: The weight gain, PMS symptoms and breast tenderness are associated with raise in progesterone levels, not with excess estrogen, as presented here.
I was looking for this comment. Oral progesterone causes weight gain and serious bloating in me
I’m 55, on estrogen patch to be taken with 50 mg progesterone, I chose transdermal oil.
But my doc and I wonder if that has caused me to essentially stop bleeding altogether. Iin the past few months, along with excessive breast pain (?), I have developed minor weight gain (5+ pounds, which is a LOT for me, I am healthy (no ED's but exercise a lot...) I did labs and all my levels are normal except prolactin...We are trying to get a good bleed/sloughing- I am 46 no signs of menopause... thoughts?
I’m Menopausal on bio identical hormones estrogen and progesterone.
So on days 14 through 28 on bio, topical progesterone, I suffer from the following:
increased heart rate
blood pressure spikes
Aggressiveness
Sleeplessness
Wired but tired
Increased pain
Impatience
Anxiety
Difficulties with paying attention
WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN? Thanks 🙏🏻
I’m taking 100 mg of Prometrium oral. I haven’t noticed any weight gain yet. Is this the bio identical you are talking about? I was told to take it daily.
