    Your amazing! I have a hyperthyroidism and was never told until 4yrs later. I actually quit going to a Dr bc the whole time every Dr told me I was a mystery even specialist 2 hrs away. So pretty much I really couldn't eat much but yogurt & purple grapes & a protein drink for about 4-6 months not knowing it was called fasting. I dove deep into research, started eating things to wing out of my diet which I'm still doing & figuring it out. Trying to turn over into just a carnivore diet with a few veggies here & there. I can honestly say my mind is completely back thank gdness, appetite is better, still swell ever so often. But I've done several different kinds of cleanses, with food, & supplements. Then I started building up good bacteria in my gut & try 2 fix leaky gut if I had that too. Slow process, but once you know what actually does what then you know the proper steps. This just confirms that the liver is another cleanse that I need to do! I am literally putting all the pieces together myself, sometimes I wished I lived in a big area so I could find doctors such as yourself. But most of all I've done it myself & learned so much in the process! Thank you

      Both my mom and grandma were hypothyroid and iodine drops have helped tremendously after my grandma would end up in the hospital several times because of how severe her illness was in her youth, and she never took any additional meds since.
      We need iodine but our body does not produce it.
      I’m fact you can do a simple test. Dip a cotton swab into some iodine and draw a bit on the inner arm. If the mark disappears within an hour then you’re deficient, and if it stays for 5 or more hrs then you’re not deficient in it.

    My t4 is in range but low in the range. My t3 is at or above mid range. Tsh is 5.55 dr put me on 25mcg of levo. The first day I took it I felt great. Clear headed. Less irritable. Better. Then the following days I started feeling more tired sleeping more and sensitivity to the air from the ac. What’s wrong?

    Hi Dr. Childs, For someone who has had his/her thyroid removed and are taking Levothyroxathine 200 micrograms per day?
    Can these suggested supplements be taken?
    Weight gain, Chronic Fatigue, high stress and poor sleep?
    Thank you in advance for your comment/s.😊

    • @phoenixaz8431
      @phoenixaz8431 Месяц назад

      He has a video on his channel whee he discusses what supplements to take to improve T4 to T3 conversion. What you're taking (Levo/synthroid) is just T4. First step is to try to increase your T3 levels *naturally* , then to be prescribed T3 (starting at low doses, say 5mcg and increasing over time if need be)

    How do I find a physician in my area that is knowledgeable and trustworthy with my chronic Lyme and Hashimoto’s . I was diagnosed w/ hypothyroidism when I was 14.. and I’m well, (over 45 now) my Lyme wasn’t discovered until I was 39. That Naturopathic physician back then told me if my primary care physician tested me for Lyme disease it very likely would come back negative . I am currently at a place that a need a good physician who can treat me and know what to test for or look for that my insurance too covers:/ :/

    What if you have radioactive iodine done to you. That's what made me hypothyroid now I am having problems with my insurance company paying my doctor for my care. Because in January my doctor will not be in network with my healthcare plan. I have digestive problems. I had to have Gallbladder surgery because they couldn't save it. It was too inflammed then I had a lot of surgeries too many of them. Then I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and I had severe diarrhea.

    I read that taking Moringa interferes with thyroid meds in converting from t4 or t3. I was wondering if anyone knows if it would affect the meds if I only take one capsule a day or about a 1/2 of teaspoon, or if I should avoid all together. Thanks.
