I'm not a real pilot but fly the Vision Jet in Microsoft Flight Simulator, it's probably my favorite aircraft to fly in the sim. Thanks for sharing, great video!
Thank you, Sage! An instrument rating really creates a stepping stone for your aviation journey! It is work and studying, but worth it because you learn so much from instrument flying and it opens up so many more opportunities to fly! I definitely recommend you stay focused and committed for the instrument rating. Then set your sights on a commercial or multi-engine rating! Keep learning and thanks for watching!
Thanks Cat! I normally have two camera angles but the second camera did not cooperate this segment of the flight. Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
Hey Don! Awesome video as usual. And great landing, right on the 1000ft mark! In May I'll do my first international flight to Uruguay, I'll try to shoot some videos of it and maybe post 'em here on RUclips.
Thanks for the content! I caught your flight and some of the ATC from Tyler back to KJWN. At one point, across AR it showed your ground speed at 411 kts. Was that true to your instrumentation? What a tailwind! Will be sad to see 9JM go. Do you plan to upgrade or transition to something different? Or is that a topic for the future? Thanks again. Always enjoy your presentations.
Thanks for watching and listening in... I will have a future video showing the return trip and the 109 knots of tail wind we had heading back to TN. I was showing 423 knots ground speed, which made in a short 90 minute trip. I am actually still flying N379JM. I was just using the ForeFlight 585 callsign since that was how the transponder was set up from the last flight. I have a 2024 Vision Jet on order so I will be looking for a buyer for 9JM later in the year. I should have more flights in 9JM before then. Thanks again for watching and supporting!
The clouds were amazing a few times during this video. I've never been in/above the clouds, but a scene like 9:50 would be incredible to see in person. Someday!

Great video! You inspire me to keep studying for Instrument every video!!

Hi Don, thanks for the ride! Outside shot is great! Would also love to see another angle on the panel of such an amazing jet.

Complete whiteout about the 11-minute mark. Pretty crazy!

Come to think of it, I've never been above 5,000 feet or so, either. Again, someday!
I’ll have to come pick you up someday and see if we can poke holes in some clouds! Thanks Matt!
@@DonAv8s I’d sure never ask but I absolutely wouldn’t tell you no! I’d definitely owe you lunch that day.
good video, but music is distracting from audio
They step you down really early
They do PPP because it’s one of the arrivals into BNA and I think they want to make way for faster jets.
