It’s ok don’t worry that your not caught up my advice would be:
* start by watching Diaries (MCD) then watch Phoenix Drop High (PDH) then watch Falcon Claw University (FCU) then Mystreet
Then you can start watching her smaller series like Royal Tale and Mermaid Tales
( BTW your not the only one that didn’t watch Diaries I didn’t watch diaries for a LONG time I only watched PDH)
A little thing is that Mystreet, PDH and FCU are connected however Diaries is not, it has the same characters however people are different like Zane I’m not going into detail but he DEFINITELY is different in PDH compared to Diaries

Aphmau's"Dark"series is actually one of the most recent series:"MyStreet:Emerald Secret"its my favorite Aphmau series ever it's so good and it has a lot to do with Aarmaus relationship and Aaron being a Werewolf.
But for that series you'll have to watch the most recent:"Phoenix Drop High"series because there's new characters introduced in that series that are in"MyStreet:Emerald Secret".

Phoenix drop high is MyStreet yes
Kinda different, ok so yes its connected idk why I'm saying this bc it's like 2 years later ahhh whatev's
The My Street series is all in the same universe, just at different points in time. It starts with Season 1 which is literally called MyStreet Season 1. The Phoenix Drop High both season 1&2 are prequels to the main My Street series, and most people prefer to watch those first and build up to Season 1 of My Street from there. However, since PDH Season 2 is much newer, the quality is way better, and you would be going from "Eh" quality to "WOW" quality, back to "Eh" quality if you start with the high school seasons first. But that is your preference. If you do build up from the high school series, there is another mini series called The Big Move, that builds up to her moving into the house that takes place on My Street Season 1. Sometimes in the main series there are flashbacks to these mini eps that most people don't know what happened. However, I think this mini series is too great to miss. There are only 5 episodes and should be seen before Season 1 of My Street. After Season 1 of My Street, the next season in order is Love~Love Paradise - Season 2. This is when the quality goes way up, and all characters now have wonderful voice actors. Then next is Lover's Lane - Season 3. Which starts off, RIGHT after the cast returns from Love~Lover Paradise. After or during, this season, it is a good time to watch the My Street Holiday Special, since most of those events happen while on the Lover's Lane set. After that is Emerald Secret - Season 4. I think this is the season people were saying that is more dark and scary, since a lot of character development and intense emotions happen during this season. This is my personal favorite season, but I suggest you don't watch it till you finish the other seasons before it, or it wont be as enjoyable. Next is My Street: Aphmau's Year. This was never officially called a season of My Street, but it is very important to the plot if you want to get past the emotions of Emerald Secret to the next season. Think of Aphmau's Year as Season 4.5, it's much shorter with only 5 episodes, but not any less important to the series. Finally, there is the newest season, Starlight- Season 5. This is the current season that My Street is on.
So, as a reminder here is the order that most people probably watch it in, if you want to go by order of time in the series:
1. Phoenix Drop High Season 1
2. Phoenix Drop High Season 2
3. The Big Move Side Stories
4. My Street Season 1
5. Love~Love Paradise Season 2
6. Lover's Lane Season 3
7. My Street Holiday Special
8. Emerald Secret Season 4
9. Aphmau's Year (Season 4.5?)
10. Starlight Season 5
I personally would watch PDH Season 2, AFTER Emerald Secret for more of an impact on Aaron's character development. Since most of his character development is during Emerald Secret, and PDH Season 2 is more like just there to emphasis it. But that's just me. I hope this helped understand it more, and if you even bothered to read it all, since it is a lot to take in and can get confusing. I really enjoy seeing your anime style drawings of the characters and hope you continue to give this series a shot. :D

YES, definitely! And let's not forget the little bits where the plot was still lining up. Just a heads up: Mystreet Season 1 was made BEFORE Phoenix Drop High Season 1, so when Travis comes into the series in Mystreet, Aphmau is meeting him for the first time, which may be confusing because they met in Highschool, right? That was at a point where the story was still lining up, and it all comes together eventually. Just a disclaimer 😂😂😂😂 and yes, DEFINITELY watch Emerald Secret THEN PDH S2, or both simultaneously, alternating. That's the best way to go about it. :)

Its emerald secret and its not scary or dark, in my opinion it is just really sad and heart breaking. A maybe a little frustrating, because I did tell the evil guy to go dye in a hole a couple times.

Aron always knew he was the ultima, he ends up proposing to Aph.
In some of the earlier seasons Katlyn hates travis but they end up together too.
The mermaid series has ended and it has nothing to do with my street or any other series.
Aphmau gets mind controlled by Ian and nearly kills Aaron!
Those were just a few spoilers but there a many more!!

MCD Season 1 (On Aphmau's Channel)
MCD Season 2 (On Aphmau's Channel)
MCD Season 3 (First few episodes on Aphmau's Channel but is now on Aphmau/Jess's Second Channel called Aphmau Fantasy)
Mermaid Tales:
Season 1 (Only supposed to be an AU so 1 season long. On Aphmau's Channel)
Then Aphmau/Jess has mini games, Sims, Aphmau Shorts, React videos, etc. on Aphmau's Channel
Jess also has a completely different series on Aphmau Fantasy that has nothing to do with any of the Mystreet/MCD characters.

It really interesting to see all the characters going through they'd magical things and don't even get me started on the Divine Warrior's! It has its own channel called Aphmau fantasy. There's some other series on there too but they've kinda stopped coming out all except MCD. Idk why though

The first 2 seasons of MCD are on her original channel. The 3rd one is on the Aphmau Fantasy channel. She had another MCD series that were supposed to be the first season, but it had nothing to do with the storyline of MCD and is called "Minecraft Diaries Origins".

One thing I love about Jessica’s channel is actually kinda weird. I like how she purposely reveals the most juiciest parts of the MyStreet universe at the same time in different series. If you were caught up on everything in MyStreet you would know that Jessica revealed that Aaron was a werewolf in Phoenix Drop High and in Emerald Secret at the same time! She also revealed that Aaron wasn’t just a werewolf, but a Ultima. Instead of telling us this information at different times, she did it all at once so it wasn’t so predictable in either series which I appreciate. Afterwards she put that information more frequently and flashbacks about it. But now, if you’re new to this channel and the MyStreet world, you will already know this information and predict everything. The order in events in the MyStreet world is Phoenix Drop High, Graduation Days, and MyStreet but you get this information at different times and out of order for it to actually make sense. So if you watch all the series in order, you’re not actually watching it in order. I think that is an untold strategy that she uses to make people stay tuned for another unpredictable episode.
