Yes we have gender norms, but we respect our mothers and historically saw them excel in commerce, and apply intellect in family matters, religion etc. 16% of construction workforce being women is only a start but still something to be proud of. I felt there is NO WAY there are this many women in construction in US. so I looked it up. 10.8%. After more than fifty years of noise making.
