Vera, Where are you from in AKS? I like what you are doing in Itu LGA. I know most Akwa Ibomites like things from Yorubaland. Our governor sometimes imports Yoruba preachers to pray for Akwa Ibom State. Keep on being unique.
Uyoata Ben they do that to bring in foreign help to further manipulate and deceive you. There's reason you can't discern what's going on. The people of your era have fallen prey to Satan and his fallen angels. Look away from them. Live in the Word of GOD and stay away from their "churches". Your life is to understand and know GOD, and Jesus Christ whom he sent, and you can only get that in his Word. They don't have that. I hope you heed this.
Good job, The Vera Frank. Thanks for doing this documentary. You should be sponsored to do more of this. It's really informative. It's nice to see the blessings of the Lord on this part of the country. Thanks for taking the time to do this eh. awesome 🙂
Thank you so much. ♥️♥️ This means a lot to me. I’m sure the sponsorships will come at some point, but for now, I’ll still do the little I can to show people these places. 😁 Thanks so much once again. ♥️
That jetty you went down with to the river is historic, there is also a monkey called Adiaha awa itam in Itu, saw it when I was reading the history online
Vera great job. Historical there was a famous slave market by the Itu river, its been captured in many colonial paintings. I don't know if this could be the site.
Thank you so much. Yeah, I read about it & even saw a photo online but I don’t know the exact spot. I’m sure the locals will know. It could be the one, but we wouldn’t know until someone who actually knows, says it. 😁😁
Woah! That is really awesome 👏👏. I never knew this, and I'm glad the name has stuck. For a few years, I've heard several tourism promoters call it "The rolling hills of Itu" & it became natural to adopt it. I've been curious as to why the name "Rolling Hills" was chosen 😁. I hope it's not too much to ask why you chose it. 😁
@@TheVeraFrank so even before visiting the Itu hills, I use to go on Google maps and just look around that region of Akwa Ibom and could not help but notice the wave 🌊 like form the hills took. The landscape in Itu just seems to roll unto itself. It is indeed a captivating natural landscape as you watch it extend into the distance all around you. They look like giant mounds covered with forest. That continuous interspace between the low hills and the valleys inbetween was something I could only best describe as "Rolling". When I eventually got to visit Itu, the landscape was even more beautiful than I had expected. Of course there was also that lake and dam tucked between the hills, I hope you got to visit the lake too ( this is the GPS location of the dam 5.1541738, 7.9392173). Thanks for the video.
This is really interesting. Thank you so much for sharing. And yes, it’s really beautiful. I know the aerial view will be way cooler & I wished I had a drone to capture it. I didn’t make to the lake unfortunately, but I’ll definitely explore more when next I visit. Thank you so much for watching too. 😁

Akwa Ibom has a lot of historical sites and beautiful landscapes but much have not been done about tourism.
True. There are lots of historical sites in AKS, and I hope they start taking tourism seriously. There’s a lot of potential.

Yeah, I read about the monkey too, although I didn't see them when I visited.

Afikpo in Ebonyi State looks very similar to Itu. The cross river also passes through Afikpo
Right? 😁😁 That’s good to know.
I actually came up with the name "The rolling Hills of Itu", after a visit to Itu some years ago.
