Tyler doesn't look anything like Superman but Cavill does but ill place Tyler over Cavill only because the writers have made him a well written portrayal of Superman see what I'm saying? There are 3 things I love most about this scene 1. the look that both Clack and Lois give to each other. Clark is relieved she's safe. Lois is proud that her husband saved the world and he's powers are back, she's about to cry. 2. This show REALLY showing just how powerful he is. Others always say he's powerful but I feel it with this one. 3. The music when Superman lands in Smallville. That heroic tune that plays just hits different and I love it.

@@Comicbroe405 But in my opinion (or at least for me and someone else whom I got watching the show), the appeal *IS* the realism where you have family dynamics, husband and wife support and disagreements, along with typical teenage behavior and great emotional dramatic scenes. Plus, one of my favorite episodes this season is the episode after Clark told Lana that he was Superman. And I loved Lana's reaction to that and what she went through in that episode and a lot of the other emotional interactions between various characters in that episode.

This is one of the best moments of Superman on screen. It not only shows how potentially powerful he is, but it shows that his greatest strength is still his heart. After diving into the sun and getting his powers supercharged, Superman was able to easily defeat Ally, who previously absorbed all his powers. Ally couldn't absorb Superman's powers this time because he was just too powerful in this state, and he was able to separate the two versions of her with ease. Despite all of the terrible things they did, Superman still saved both versions of Ally, showing his compassion even for his enemies. Then, he separated the two earths, showing how powerful Superman can be, while showing him save two worlds. I honestly believe more than ever before that Superman is the greatest superhero.
All this was lazy a** writing How did Superman not die from space he was human and being that close to the sun and the freezing temperature of space he should be dead and burned to a crisp. This makes no sense and it's just stupid. And even more stupid that people think that CGI is what makes a show good. It's not the CGI put writhing and this shit is lazy.

This Season Finale was amazing! Superman gave his cells a huge jumpstart! To me, the way his crest radiated with power just showed how powerful he could really be. This was the most power that he's ever had. Ally wanted to drain him again, but Superman overloaded her with so much power that she couldn't handle it. You don't have to worry about him losing his powers again.

Sense superman is now human the moment we went to outer space you would have frozen to death and there is no oxygen in space so he would have suffocated. And he was so close to the sun sense he is human he should have burned to a crisp without the durability he once had. So non of this makes sense. And so lazy writing. What do you guys think. If they recast Superman for the film universe I truly believe that Tyler should be the one to take over. He's done such a good job of portraying what DC originally wrote for who and what Kal-El/Clark is and stand for. I honestly don't know if anyone has ever played the character better, and I say that with no disrespect intended for anyone else who's ever donned the cape. The funny thing is I didn't really like him as Superman when he first started in the role back in Supergirl and Arrow. Something about how he always had that 5 o'clock shadow always threw me off, but now I can't imagine anyone else playing this role. He's a great actor. I also recently saw Tyler in one of his earlier roles when he was just a kid that he did an amazing job in. It's a Tom Hanks film called Road to Perdition. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend it. It's on Netflix.

It was set up in 14. His cells needed time to heal, but he didn't have time, so he forced his body to heal by taking the pain head on. Kind of like how Deadpool forced a healing mutation because of his cancer. He was never able to absorb the radiation at the core of the sun itself before, but he forced himself through the pain with memories of his family. Brought himself to not only take it, but soak it in, meditate within it. With that extra power he punched Ally apart from herself, then absorbed more sun, used orbits around the earth for momentum and punched the other planet to dust by basically centering a fissure right down to its core originating from his landing, and punctuated by a punch.
I'm just going to say it, but I love Tyler's voice. I remember watching Road to Perdition thinking, "The movie's producers and directors are trusting the kid to do the voice over?" I was thinking, Okay, I guess. But it worked for the movie and the ending. I respected that kid. Now that he's much older, I'm still respecting this actor. He blends Clark and Superman so well with his mannerisms and vocal inflections. Respect.

I really wasn't a superman fan really until the last 3 superman movies and this show. Not gonna lie it was almost as good as avengers end game. In a since it almost my me cry at the end, when Clark got his powers back.
As much as the CW doesnt have the faintest idea how science works (how hot the sun is, how lightning isnt solid, how space is a vacuum and cant carry sound) this show does have some visually cool scenes
You're right, there's no sound in space because there's no air to carry it. However, consider this: "air" doesn't have to be the nitrogen/oxygen mix we have here on Earth. It could be carbon dioxide like on Mars, or a hydrogen/helium mixture on the sun. Yep, the sun has a kind of atmosphere that surrounds the body of the sun. Granted, it's super-hot, but not as hot as the surface of the sun, nor its interior. That's why Tal stopped before reaching the actual surface of the sun, to share what he thought would be his chance at a few final words with Kal. So since they were in the sun's atmosphere, such as it is, they could speak to one another. Besides, in the comic books pre-Crisis, Kryptonians could speak in space. Just like they could see radio waves (and the rest of the EM spectrum), they could use the EM spectrum to use radio waves to speak to one another in space where there's no air to use sound to converse. And this episode is as close as I've ever seen TV or film versions of Superman come to his pre-Crisis power levels and powers. And it's not just the TV shows and movies based on comics books (both DC and Marvel) that play fast and lose with the laws of science, it's the books, too. I've had to write to both companies about their screwing up things and pushing even comic book pseudoscience beyond its limits (the latest Star Trek franchise got a quite a few words on the subject, too). For example: The X-men and their terraforming of Mars: Adding all of that mass (the metal Magneto pulled in to make the core more massive so they could have a standard Earth gravity and atmosphere that didn't bleed off into space; the one mutant adding a huge ocean) changed the gravitational signature of the planet, altering it so significantly that it should have starting drawing asteroids from the nearby asteroid belt to crash into the planet within a few days, Mars' orbit should have shifted considerably within a couple of weeks, and the orbits of the other planets should have been severely disrupted within a month or two. So it's not just the CW that needs to pay attention to science, it's all comic book companies and TV/movie production companies that seriously need to hire good science advisors.

Too many edgy, weak, defeated, dark, evil..etc superman versions out there, that I started to believe I will never again see a version of superman thats so powerful and so good like Tylers is. @@collinspaul8030 I don't really pay attention to a lot of the fandom anymore because in the other DC shows it started getting pretty toxic, so I hadn't heard that theory. Interesting to hear about it, though I don't think they'll be able to leap straight into it soon without proper build up. I can see that working if they establish that this show is set on a different earth to the other shows. This version of Superman hasn't mentioned Kara at all, so it would be weird for them to suddenly introduce her as a brainwashed or evil Supergirl with no build up. The only way it could work is if this version of Superman had never met Supergirl before. A new Supergirl could work quite nicely, especially if Melissa Benoist doesn't want to return. They could recast her under the excuse of it being another Earth, similar to how they recast Morgan Edge and Sam Lane, and rewrote Lucy's character with the excuse of Crisis erasing the previous ones. They would just need to establish this as a separate Earth and work out an explanation for John Diggle being around.

There are 3 things I love most about this scene
1. the look that both Clack and Lois give to each other. Clark is relieved she's safe. Lois is proud that her husband saved the world and he's powers are back, she's about to cry.
2. This show REALLY showing just how powerful he is. Others always say he's powerful but I feel it with this one.
3. The music when Superman lands in Smallville. That heroic tune that plays just hits different and I love it.

Plus, one of my favorite episodes this season is the episode after Clark told Lana that he was Superman. And I loved Lana's reaction to that and what she went through in that episode and a lot of the other emotional interactions between various characters in that episode.

This is one of the best moments of Superman on screen. It not only shows how potentially powerful he is, but it shows that his greatest strength is still his heart. After diving into the sun and getting his powers supercharged, Superman was able to easily defeat Ally, who previously absorbed all his powers. Ally couldn't absorb Superman's powers this time because he was just too powerful in this state, and he was able to separate the two versions of her with ease. Despite all of the terrible things they did, Superman still saved both versions of Ally, showing his compassion even for his enemies. Then, he separated the two earths, showing how powerful Superman can be, while showing him save two worlds. I honestly believe more than ever before that Superman is the greatest superhero.

If they recast Superman for the film universe I truly believe that Tyler should be the one to take over. He's done such a good job of portraying what DC originally wrote for who and what Kal-El/Clark is and stand for. I honestly don't know if anyone has ever played the character better, and I say that with no disrespect intended for anyone else who's ever donned the cape. The funny thing is I didn't really like him as Superman when he first started in the role back in Supergirl and Arrow. Something about how he always had that 5 o'clock shadow always threw me off, but now I can't imagine anyone else playing this role. He's a great actor. I also recently saw Tyler in one of his earlier roles when he was just a kid that he did an amazing job in. It's a Tom Hanks film called Road to Perdition. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend it. It's on Netflix.

@@reactreel when he got recharge and sound around the cube Earth he was separating and then he went into the cube Earth super punch the ground he was splitting both Earth's apart .
It was set up in 14. His cells needed time to heal, but he didn't have time, so he forced his body to heal by taking the pain head on. Kind of like how Deadpool forced a healing mutation because of his cancer. He was never able to absorb the radiation at the core of the sun itself before, but he forced himself through the pain with memories of his family. Brought himself to not only take it, but soak it in, meditate within it. With that extra power he punched Ally apart from herself, then absorbed more sun, used orbits around the earth for momentum and punched the other planet to dust by basically centering a fissure right down to its core originating from his landing, and punctuated by a punch.

I'm just going to say it, but I love Tyler's voice. I remember watching Road to Perdition thinking, "The movie's producers and directors are trusting the kid to do the voice over?" I was thinking, Okay, I guess. But it worked for the movie and the ending. I respected that kid. Now that he's much older, I'm still respecting this actor. He blends Clark and Superman so well with his mannerisms and vocal inflections. Respect.

@@nfg3237 when Superman started to zip around the world that speed had to build up, near the end of the scene, before he super punched the earth, he was zipping around much faster, I'd suggest you watch the entire scene again.
Flash is still faster than clark however clark leveled up in power so while he’s still not faster than flash he is stronger in terms of raw power
@@darkyozora1222 I agree, under normal circumstances Clark is slower overall than the Flash, I am comparing this level of speed over normal Flash, and this speed feat makes Clark faster, but only under this specific circumstance.

I really wasn't a superman fan really until the last 3 superman movies and this show. Not gonna lie it was almost as good as avengers end game. In a since it almost my me cry at the end, when Clark got his powers back.
Tyler has definitely earned the title of Superman.
As much as the CW doesnt have the faintest idea how science works (how hot the sun is, how lightning isnt solid, how space is a vacuum and cant carry sound) this show does have some visually cool scenes
You're right, there's no sound in space because there's no air to carry it.
However, consider this: "air" doesn't have to be the nitrogen/oxygen mix we have here on Earth. It could be carbon dioxide like on Mars, or a hydrogen/helium mixture on the sun.
Yep, the sun has a kind of atmosphere that surrounds the body of the sun. Granted, it's super-hot, but not as hot as the surface of the sun, nor its interior.
That's why Tal stopped before reaching the actual surface of the sun, to share what he thought would be his chance at a few final words with Kal. So since they were in the sun's atmosphere, such as it is, they could speak to one another.
Besides, in the comic books pre-Crisis, Kryptonians could speak in space. Just like they could see radio waves (and the rest of the EM spectrum), they could use the EM spectrum to use radio waves to speak to one another in space where there's no air to use sound to converse. And this episode is as close as I've ever seen TV or film versions of Superman come to his pre-Crisis power levels and powers.
And it's not just the TV shows and movies based on comics books (both DC and Marvel) that play fast and lose with the laws of science, it's the books, too. I've had to write to both companies about their screwing up things and pushing even comic book pseudoscience beyond its limits (the latest Star Trek franchise got a quite a few words on the subject, too). For example:
The X-men and their terraforming of Mars: Adding all of that mass (the metal Magneto pulled in to make the core more massive so they could have a standard Earth gravity and atmosphere that didn't bleed off into space; the one mutant adding a huge ocean) changed the gravitational signature of the planet, altering it so significantly that it should have starting drawing asteroids from the nearby asteroid belt to crash into the planet within a few days, Mars' orbit should have shifted considerably within a couple of weeks, and the orbits of the other planets should have been severely disrupted within a month or two.
So it's not just the CW that needs to pay attention to science, it's all comic book companies and TV/movie production companies that seriously need to hire good science advisors.

Too many edgy, weak, defeated, dark, evil..etc superman versions out there, that I started to believe I will never again see a version of superman thats so powerful and so good like Tylers is. I hoped to see one like this for years, and I lived to see it. Tyler is what superman is suppose to be. HOPE and power to give hope to others.

@Mr. M I think fans should petition for Henry Cavill to come back as Superman, fans rallied for James Gunn to come back to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, so why not? It's funny how Warner Bros. has a problem with Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder, but they're not the ones messing up their careers like Ezra Miller is.

@@collinspaul8030 I don't really pay attention to a lot of the fandom anymore because in the other DC shows it started getting pretty toxic, so I hadn't heard that theory. Interesting to hear about it, though I don't think they'll be able to leap straight into it soon without proper build up.
I can see that working if they establish that this show is set on a different earth to the other shows. This version of Superman hasn't mentioned Kara at all, so it would be weird for them to suddenly introduce her as a brainwashed or evil Supergirl with no build up. The only way it could work is if this version of Superman had never met Supergirl before.
A new Supergirl could work quite nicely, especially if Melissa Benoist doesn't want to return. They could recast her under the excuse of it being another Earth, similar to how they recast Morgan Edge and Sam Lane, and rewrote Lucy's character with the excuse of Crisis erasing the previous ones. They would just need to establish this as a separate Earth and work out an explanation for John Diggle being around.
